Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, ThunderCats - HO!
ThunderCats is an American animated television series that was produced by Rankin/Bass Productions (the same that created the SilverHawks, TigerSharks and The Comic Strip) debuting in 1984, based on the characters created by Tobin "Ted" Wolf. The series follows the adventures of a group of cat-like humanoid aliens. The animation was provided by Pacific Animation Corporation. Season 1 of the show aired in 1985 (65 episodes), followed by a TV movie entitled ThunderCats - HO! in 1986. Seasons 2, 3 and 4 followed a new format of twenty episodes each, starting with a five-part story.

I've always loved the ThunderCats. Here is a doodle I made of them. I used the VHS box art of The Lion King as inspiration. So you could call this the Thundercat King if you want. Thundercats hoooooooo!

CN cancelled Thundercats 2011 because it was too expense to produce

Cartoon Network cancelled Thundercats 2011 because it was too expensive to produce.
The animation studio that was hired to produce TC2011 was from Japan and their costs per episode was too expensive for CN. Other than hiring another studio to produce the show, CN decided to sabotage the show by changing the airing times. By changing the airing times each week, CN made it seem like the ratings were low, despite the fact that TC2011 was popular.
Thundercats 2011 was canceled because CN was being too cheap.

Help finding an episode
All I remember is there is a bounty hunter, it seemed to be humanoid and part machine. It was very skilled, had a staff? and it seemed to be able to counter each of the Thundercats.
I think it was from the original series, in the 80's. Thank you very much.

ThunderCats DVD vs. Pidax Blu-Ray Screenshot Comparisons
Another user uploaded a side by side comparison video of the show intro on DVD next to the Pidax Bluray version.
For me, it was a bit hard to really study the differences because the intro is pretty fast moving. So I took some screenshots from the video after playing it with YouTube video quality set to it highest setting.
Personally to me, the Bluray images are a bit darker and the colors are a bit muted but in most cases, (to me) they look sharper and cleaner. Judge for yourself:
