We all love the grand daddy RX.... but how far could it get vs grunt suits from other series? Would it stomp or is there a grunt suit out there that would give it a run for its money?
It's different for a gundam show, not from the gundams pilots point of view, not as self centered around one person. This seems ro capture the horror or war.
A squad is trying to survive and out run a giant killing machine that destroys everything in it path kinda cool to see it froma different perspective
Hope this helps people make an informed decision on one of my favorite kits so far.
Current wip, found this runner organizer at hobby lobby for only $7! Love the panel lining on this kit!
As we age, I did one would go for a Zaku came if I needed one!!
If GAT-X stood for Gressorial Armament Tactical - eXperimental and ZGMF-X stood for Zero-Gravity Maneuver Fighter - eXperimental, what does STTS mean? I can’t seem to find the meaning of the acronym anywhere online
A long time ago, I used to watch Gundam shows as a child, and while I've forgotten a lot of things, I wanted to try to get back into some of the shows. There is, also, a specific fight scene I wanted to find. In this particular fight scene, a Gundam with a trident fought another Gundam with a serpentine dragon for an arm underwater, and the dragon Gundam severed its own arm as a ploy to distract the Trident-wielding Gundam and get the drop on them. Would anyone here happen to know what series this might be from and who those fighters were? Appreciated in advance!
I know this might be a weird question, but are there any Mobile Suits with a "old-fashioned" or "old-generation" vibe, similar to the Mark 1 and Mark 2 Jaegers from Pacific Rim? I'm talking about mobile suit that, whether intentionally or unintentionally by Bandai, evoke a "War Machine" style rather than focusing on eye-catching designs for profit?
I suddenly realized that they resemble this teaser image from way back when Tomino started work on what eventually became Reconguista.
Like the coloring’s obviously different but the lankier frames and more intricate part details are awfully similar.
I’ve been building gunpla for I think almost a year now, but I haven’t watched any actual gundam shows. I’m interested in the witch from mercury and iron blooded orphans but I’m not sure if they are great starting points. I don’t want to watch every single series or like watch it from beginning to end so if anyone has any good starter recommendations that would be great (my favorite kits for reference + liber knight and astray red frame inversion)
Is it epic scale? Would legions imperialis be a good scale to shoot for?
What MS do you guys think is the most annoying to maintain or repair?
I'd personally go with either the Ground Gundam due to it being made of surplus parts and needing limiters to work properly, or the Methuss with often it gets blown apart lol
