The manga was originally serialized in Tokuma Shoten's Shōnen Captain magazine beginning in 1985. Hello guyver redditers (if that’s the correct term), Months ago I made a reply to the following subreddit stating that I would revive the series into a feature film one day. I am happy to announce that since then ive been writing the script and have start animation for the test footage which will later be posted on my YouTube channel this year. If you want to see more I’ll be setting up an instagram and Facebook account for those who are interested. #bioboosted

Hi all,
Just wanted to share with all of you that the 4K release of The Guyver R-rated negative has a release date and is up for preorder! Here are the details for the release -
PART HUMAN. PART ALIEN. PURE SUPERPOWER. In this thrill-a-minute action adventure, Sean Barker (Jack Armstrong) is a college student who discovers the "Guyver", an alien mechanical device that merges with his own body, turning him into a super-powerful cyborg fighting machine. The device belongs to Chronos, an evil corporation run by human mutants that metamorphize into monstrous soldiers called "Zoanoids". Chronos badly wants the Guyver back and sends a gang of Zoanoids to kidnap Sean's girlfriend, Mizuki (Vivian Wu). Sean rescues Mizuki with the help of Max Reed (Mark Hamill), a CIA agent determined to keep the device from falling into the hands of Chronos. However, the rescue attempt is not completely successful, thereby triggering a series of epic battles between the forces of good and evil.

This man has been on the planet since the sixteenth century and required four centuries to take power. I understand that it may have taken him some time to adapt to the new era and expand his base of influence, but it seems nonsensical to let the rest of the world develop to the point where they can use modern technologies to threaten him (or at least his subordinates). This man could have easily declared himself the only real god and marched into every city on the planet, whereupon people would have gladly accepted him as their king and savior, given his absurdly strong powers. Consider the way governments at the time treated their own citizen, Alkanphel's arrival would be warmly received by many people worldwide as their salvation from the oppression of false religions or slavers.
Guyver Zoanoid posable figure WIP
Max Factory did an INCREDIBLE job with this one. It's bigger, feels sturdy, moves seamlessly. I love it. Get yours while you can before they're all gone.
those cannon fodder level Zoanoids, such as Gregole and Vamore, all their weapons are their muscles, claws and teeth, and (for Vamore,) two low power (They are only powerful enough to destroy M1 tanks.) bio-laser cannons that take minutes to charge and fire.
Yes, they're strong enough to deal with regular human soldiers and tanks, but when they fight against Guyvers, they'll be slaughtered like pigs in the slaughterhouse.
So what if they are equip with modern firearms?
For example, if Gregoles are equipped with an M61 Vulcan cannon (they are strong enough to carry an huge M61 ammunition catridge on their backs), they will become powerful ranged fighters instead of a cannon fodder who can only fight with claws and teeth.
Equip the Vamores with Javelin missiles and M2 machine guns (one in each hand) so they can continue attacking while the laser cannon is recharging.
And we can even go one step further. for those badass ENZYME III, these high-end level of cannon fodders that are fast, agile and can fly, what kind of firearms can be equipped with them so that they can continue to maintain their own advantages while greatly increasing their combat effectiveness, and even be able to Continuing to be a formidable threat in the era of two Guyver-giants?
I'm curious about this idea.

Hi everyone :D A bit of self promotion so forgive me.
While I wrote "The Conquered" many years ago, I've recently decided to try to convert my fanfics to speech using AI. The Guyver Fic that I've uploaded first is "The Conquered."
I've only put up four chapters and I hope the quality is okay. I admit I mostly checked that the conversion seemed to be complete. Either way though, I hope you enjoy it.
The Conquered is a Guyver AU Fanfic, going from the defeat of Alkanphel into the future.
Enjoy
Jade :)
I remember getting Guyver part 1 on VHS for my birthday (1993 to 94 I think...collected all 12) and being super hyped when I heard there was a film being made. Now I'm on a nostalgia trip and am finding out that Mutronics WAS actually called Guyver in other territories (Guyver Dark Hero was always Guyver Dark Hero in UK as far as I know).
Anyone know why this title was changed for UK market?#
Note: I get that Dark Hero lines up better with the timeline but small town Scotland video shops didn't exactly work like that...
