Voltron RP Group

My name is Em, and I am looking for a few people who would like do be part of a Voltron rp group! I have the server all ready to go - all I need are writers!

Some Important Info:

-We are looking for a yellow paladin, and one more Altean character to get started!

-This will be a Literate Server. Which means each reply should consist of 3-4+ paragraphs.

-There will be a main plot that everyone is individually involved in, but there are also spaces for people to do one-on-one rps and one-shots with their characters! Those are less strict regarding how much is written, but please at least one paragraph, and NO ONE LINERS AT ALL. This is just so everyone is receiving the amount of effort they put in!

-This is an AU of Voltron where everyone will have a character that reflects the og cast, but is not the og cast. For example, there will be a Black Paladin oc, they will have similar attributes to Shiro, but is not Shiro. The premise will be the same, Galra trying to take over the world, the paladins find a lion and go into space to find the last two Alteans. But lets make it our own!

-Lastly, this will be an +18 server as I am 18+!

Has it been confirmed if these are just straight rereleases of the Legendary 84 lions?

The way fandom treats Adam is so weird, you would think he was a fully fleshed out character. The way people act like we know more about Adam than Shiro’s current husband Curtis is so bizarre too. We pretty much know the same thing about Adam and Curtis.

we know that Adam and Shiro were in a serious relationship. We know Adam worked for the Garrison. We know Shiro and Adam were classmates and we know they broke up. That’s it. That’s all we know about Adam.

We know that Curtis and Shiro are married. We know that Curtis worked for the Garrison. We know that he also worked under Shiro. That’s it that’s all we know about Curtis.

It if you asked people, shiro should have married Adam because…… he was introduced first… I’m guessing that’s the reason because there’s literally nothing else about his character for people to care about other than, he’s the first character that dated Shiro. We don’t see it. It’s not relevant to shiro’s character. It doesn’t matter to the series at all. But people will swear up and down that If Shiro got with Adam it would be much better. Depsite the fact that we know the same amount of stuff about Adam as we do Curtis and yet people hated Shiro marrying Curtis.

they also can’t say, well they could have gave shiro closure, but the writers don’t care about Shiro to do that. Legit fandom treats Adam better than Shiro and it’s crazy, because they now reduce shiro to nothing but a love interest instead of a character that was done extremely dirty because they gave Shiro a forced ex that added nothing to his character.

I want to watch VLD, but I'm not sure if I should watch the last 5 shows before I do so. Ik that they're most likely not required watching, I'm just wondering if it's better to see them all first before starting VLD than if I just started with VLD right off the bat.

According to TV Tropes, Tim Hedrick was the head writer of VLD and left after Season 6 for an animated Fast & Furious series. Apparently he had previously mapped out an outline for how all 78 episodes were supposed to look like (including Seasons 7 and 8), and then the remaining writers decided to go in a completely different direction for Seasons 7 & 8 (compared to his original plan) after he left.

Does anyone have an additional source for this? Also, if this is true, does anyone know what his original plan for the last two seasons was?

What was the best show/season of voltron, I've watched a bit of the og, and the designs of the galra ships where the best part of it

My family just got a Netflix subscription, so I didn't know that this show even existed until last week. I think there was a lot of drama around it, but I have no clue what the specifics were. It looks like something I'd be interested in, but I don't wan't to get invested in an 8 season show if it turns out to be shit. I know this subreddit is almost dead, but I don't know where else to post this.

While season 8 was not as good as the first 6, I'm torn on if it was a massive L for Voltron as a whole. To me it didn't seem so horrendous to call it "The worst thing ever."
