I’m currently a senior at SDSU majoring in Public Health, and I’m planning to apply for the Master’s Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) at USD. However, I’m a bit concerned about the recommendation letters required for the application.
I haven’t worked in any healthcare-related field, so I’m wondering if that will negatively impact my chances. Do you think it’s necessary to have healthcare experience to be considered a strong applicant? Has anyone here applied to USD’s MEPN program who can share their experience or advice on how competitive it is?
Aye. Usd.
You literally better than UCSD fuck UCSD
Anyone playing any pick up soccer on campus or nearby today?
im sobbing I PRAY I GET IN🙏🙏🙏 hopefully see yall 🤞🤞
I am applying for fall 2025. How do I get approved for a housing waiver when I do not pay the rent or bills of my apartment? The apartment is in my mother-in-law's name.
Hi San Diegans! Our research team at UC San Diego is conducting a study to learn more about the potential of an FDA-approved dopamine agonist to improve social connectedness in adults who experience anxiety or depression.
This medication increases dopamine signaling in parts of the brain believed to underlie motivation and behavior, and the results of this study may help inform a new treatment approach for anxiety and depression.
If you are interested in learning more, please complete the survey via this link or the QR code below to help us determine if you may be eligible for further screening to participate in this compensated study!
Not the most important factor for me but would love to know what it’s like there. I know it’s catholic, but does that have a great impact?
hey! i’m applying to usd in fall 2024 and i would love to go here but i was wondering how do people seriously pay for it? do they give generous merit aid? if so would some people mind sharing the stats that got them aid?

I hear all the time about students at CA state universities having trouble registering for the classes they need because they fill up. It sounds like it’s especially bad for computer science majors. Is this a problem faced by computer science students at USD? Have any of you experienced a semester where you couldn’t take a class you needed because it was full or otherwise unavailable?
I’m a senior in high school and trying to decide where to go to college. I am considering USD because I am in love with San Diego, it’s my favorite place. I was considering sdsu but I missed the deadline to apply so I applied to usd. I’m most likely going to major in psychology. I was wondering what the social life/culture is like? Is everyone stuck up? Is it easy to get involved?
I know acceptance letters get rolled out next month and I’m getting nervous. I’m an out of state transfer with lots of volunteering/work experience and a 3.68 GPA (I did get really bad grades my freshman year due to health issues). I’m pretty much a B+/A- student now. I am out of state so I don’t know if that hurts my odds. If anyone knows about their transfer acceptance let me know! Thank you!
I visited with my service dog who’s a golden retriever on club day around feb 15th if anyone saw me!
What date did everyone hear about acceptance last year?
I'm planning a campus visit because I need more info about an LLM I wanna enroll into, but I can't on weekdays because of work. Is Saturday a good day to go and ask for additional information? Particularly for the Law School. Thanks!
Me and my friends are going to the USD game tonight but one of us aren't vaccinated. If he just has a negative COVID home test result can he get in?
Has anyone here met him? I have an important question to ask.
I am curious to know mainly about the computer science and math fields at USD. I am hoping they are mostly in person. Any input would be great
I’ve been admitted for Spring Semester and am trying to find off campus housing and roommates. Any advice on where to look?
With finals coming up everyone is cramming the normal study and work spots like the library and learning commons. I’m just curious if y’all have some quite, secret ones that you would be willing to share. Thanks!

Hey everyone I am thinking about applying. What were your stats and ECs in high school?
Hi guys, I came from Toronto and I'm new here. I was top 20 U18 in Canada and I just picked up a racket after a while and I'm so down to hit some balls regularly. I live close to campus, hmu if you're interested to play sometime.
Hey everyone. Does anyone know of a good spot to take a quick 30 minute nap on campus? My undergrad had these nap pods and a bunch of good spots in the library. Any suggestions?
So to graduate on time (this coming May) (I transferred here and switched majors), I'm taking 18 credits this semester: I'm a Finance major
2x Fina 400 classes
1x Thrs 1xx class (shouldn't be too bad)
1x Eltw 3xx (Business Law)
1x Dsci 3xx (Business Analytics)
1x Mgmt 3xx (Upper div writing)
Last year I maintained a pretty high GPA (3.90~) taking 15 credits each semester (it might have been easier since school was fully online), and I would consider myself a pretty dedicated student and I'm lucky to not have to work alongside school at all.
Is this doable or am I setting myself up for failure?
