Star Fox is a video game series published by Nintendo. The original game was a forward-scrolling 3D Sci-Fi rail shooter. Later sequels added more directional freedom as the series progressed. The game concept was inspired by a shrine to a fox god who could fly, and which Shigeru Miyamoto visited regularly. The shrine was accessible through a series of arches, thus inspiring the gameplay.

It is surprisingly a good model, and feels like an upscaled version of the 2002 gamecube model itself,
although it is good or decent, and way better than Command's model. and what is your opinion on the Assist trophy of Krystal in Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate.

Is this a W or L diy costume? 💀
got a message from my friend saying someone confirmed Starwolf to be a trans man. what? I genuinely cant find this anywhere but he insists its real, can someone explain.
I attempted to draw a star fox oc!
(I’ll add some color later plus a little bit of information for him)
So, for those of you who didn't see the last time, i'm in the middle of making a fanfiction series based on Starfox. Earlier this month i posted the first part on Wattpad and later Ao3. Unfortunately, it looks like i'm gonna be a bit behind schedule again, so i'm to start posting them in parts as i complete them and letting you on the subreddit know about it when i do, so you'll be seeing a lot of me for the next little bit hopefully! Part one (Or act one as i've called it) Of the second story(or episode) Is out now, so feel free to read it and tell me what you think. I'm also looking into getting some official art made for my stories to help promote them. Let me know if there are any good artists out there who could do some cover art for my stories!

Has anyone here played it on Steam? I finished it the other day and have been replaying a few levels. I know it's still in early access so maybe in the future it'll get more content, but I'd say that if you want something akin to Star Fox, it's a good game. It's very short, so a lot of the value you'd glean would come from the replayability.
I'd say that the game has more in common with the SNES game than any other. The art style, character dialogue, and the linear level progression especially. I've read some reviews complaining about the lack of branching paths, but this may actually be a design choice by the developer to make it more like the SNES version. If we get more content, I wonder if they'll just add new tracks like the original had. I would be interested if they added an option to pass your items from level to level, as they all reset on the next level currently.
I had to mess with the controls and change some key bindings for it to work for me. Enabling mouse support was necessary in my case.
The best part about this game is the uniqueness of the stages and bosses. Every boss is different and full of personality. My personal favorite is the asteroid boss, which chomps on asteroids as part of its attack. Nothing feels too derivative of Star Fox even though you can clearly see where some inspiration came from.
If you've tried the game, let me know what you think!
I just moved my display from a Walmart cube shelf to an IKEA shelf, and it looks a lot better now. Of note is my SF Zero GameStop statue and Mike West autographed poster behind it. :)

In the event a new Star Fox game is released for the next Nintendo console what gameplay progression do you think it could most benefit from/most like to personally see?
A more mission focused structure (Starfox, Starfox 64, Command, Zero) or a more open world structure (Starfox 2, Starlink)
For the former there's obvious benefits being that it's familiar and could expand upon the "storytelling", as u/CappnRob has expanded on in their threads ( https://www.reddit.com/r/starfox/comments/1g9fyjr/the_value_of_well_done_routes_in_star_fox/ ), and let them really further develop the peaks and valleys of fighting a war and either succeeding, failing, or earning a pyrrhic can have on the war and the characters themselves. Could certainly add a level of replayability that 64 didn't have if done well. Though, that's the caveat. It needs to be done well, and as CappnRob explains, Zero failed to do that for its mission progression even as it tried to emulate 64's.
The latter option has the usual pitfalls of open-world gameplay, but if done right (Star Fox 2's idea taken and refined and brought up to a "modern" style for instance) I could certainly see it working great. It's part of the reason I'm making this post as it's been on my mind.
It could have the same benefits for storytelling that a good mission structure could, but it's based entirely upon player action or inaction, your decisions more actively affecting the outcome of how the overall battle in the Lylat System progresses. Perhaps you choose to fly pursue Star Wolf rather than back up a Cornerian fleet so Fichina gets occupied, or only Fox leaves so he has to try and double back alone after dealing with Star Wolf, or you play as one of the other members of the team on a rescue mission to regroup with him after he made a foolhardy choice.
One aspect I definitely think should be kept is the persistent damage from Star Fox 2, no proper time to actively repair the arwings when going from battle to battle. Heck, there could even be some kind of actual mercenary jobs throughout (since the team IS a mercenary squadron) and you would use funds from those jobs to keep your equipment up to date for the war. (Again, adding a choice aspect of focus on the war, or detour for gain to perform better.)
I dunno, I could ramble a bit more since I've recently fallen back down the SF rabbit hole and was curious what other's might think would be the right direction for future Star Fox games, and what you'd like to see as well.
here's a pic of the gang protecting the clocks in my room hehe
