I have just finished the last episode of the live action Tick after putting it off for some time, reason being I was so deviated for it to be over. It has been one of my most favorite shows recently and I am beyond outraged that they cancelled it after only two seasons, especially after that amazing cliffhanger. Hearing Peter Serafinowicz yell "Spoon!!" was the highlight of my day. WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO MAKE ANOTHER SEASON OF THIS BELOVED SHOW.

And man, it is perfect, really scratches that superhero itch I’ve been needing. Don’t get me wrong, I love the gritty bloody morally messed up hero shows and mainstream slop, but I really needed a dose of the more feel good fairly universal hero schtick. I loved pretty much every character in the show, and the more tame violence really did wonders for when actual violence occurred. My only disappointment was a lack of a third season, lots of plot lines and some questions needed to be answered, namely a certain villain’s final line at the end of S1.

Seriously Amazon? You kick the Tick but greenlit the downgrade S4 of The Boys? Are you ignoring the call of destiny? She paid collect for you, and denying her call is bad manners.

I really liked the Amazon show and I wanna read the comic books.

His voice reminds me of some preachers I’ve heard on the radio. I wonder if this was the actor’s inspiration.

Preferably in one big book. Amazon and Barnes & Noble are not helping.

I’m trying to think of times when the tick became smart, such as

*the time he switched bodies with a scientist, or *the time he was turned into a bird and spoke high school French.

I havent heard any recent news and there hasnt been a real new comic since 2020 besides a comic con book is it over

Selling some old DVDs, looking over the packed in material and found this tid-bit on an insert inside Season 1. Can’t find much online to corroborate this little detail.

Firstly, how come none of the 3 shows managed to stay long and all ended up cancelled It seems like a massive disappointment.

Secondly, is the tick really That stupid like I get He's meant to be somewhat childish, but is he just putting it on for show is a stupid or just insane.

I read somewhere online He isn't real and is in arthur's head , is that true

Since the chance of season 3 ever happening is basically zero.. Any chance Ben Edlund or someone close to Ben give us an idea of what was going to happen in season 3?

A script would be godsend (if available), but anything from story beats to outlines, to just Ben (or a Ben adjacent person) giving us some story crumbs will do. I feel like a crackhead, need my tick fix!

What age would you say the tv series is appropriate for? From the clips that I've seen it looks pretty clean, but I've also heard that it has some swearing, and got gorey at one point.

Things have been pretty dark lately. The latest version of the tick on Amazon gave me such joy. I want there to be a season 3 and beyond so bad. I want my silly inspiring Tick and my brave nervous Arthur 😢

I think it would be cool if The Tick had a cool “secret identity” name. For example Darkwing Duck’s alter ego is Drake Mallard.

I think this Lunar City One in Tick Color Series issue 2 is a great idea. I’d like to read more about it. (“…Lunar city one, The capital of Oceanus procellarum, the largest state on the moon.
