He’s taken down many high level criminals, Solved a almost impossible case, and is incredibly skilled at combat (although it’s inconsistent with his pysichal health he’s still extremely skilled in high stress situations)
this is such a small and inconsequential moment but to me jake taking off amy’s dentist bib is genuinely so romantic and caring 🥹🥹
Hope this post doesn't break any rules...
There are so many great lines in this show, it seems strange to limit the flair options to just a few. You could fill several pages with Boyle's sexual innuendo alone.
Any chance that the mods might allow custom flair? Or have there been problems with vandalism/mischief/trolling in the past?
In any case, what custom flair would you create if you had the chance? I'm torn between "It's a tough nut to bust" and "Sent from my stinky butt".
Someone in r/NoStupidQuestions was asking about lice, and face mites came up. I could only think of Terry.
Anyone think Jake ever beat Wario? Forget Johnny Franzia or early Doug Judy, he might’ve been Jake’s true nemesis.
While rewatching I caught this from Scully's desk.
Season 4, ep 3, ~15:22
The team has set up the trap in the arcade, to trap Figgis. Charles steps out from behind the game and hits the goon from behind who has Terry. I had a full Genevieve moment.
I’ve been carrying this and I had to unburden myself.
The wife and I started IVF a couple weeks ago. We hope to have a boy we will name Jimmy. So the injections we have started calling the Jimmy jab games in honor of the show!
I still don’t get the prize behind the doors math. I’ve never been good at math, and this really confused me. So could someone dumb it down for me please?
I’m doing another rewatch and noticed a fascinating parallel between CJ and Holt:
S4 E2, CJ: ‘My door is always open, except when it’s closed, but you can open it when it’s closed.’
S5 E20, Holt: ‘If there's anything you want to talk about, my door is always open.Metaphorically. In reality, I often keep my door closed, for privacy, security, climate control- You know what, I never even should've used a metaphor. I'm better than that.
Whilst Holt is renowned for his intelligence and competence as a captain, and CJ is quite the opposite, they both struggled with this metaphor. I find it so interesting that the writers wrote so similarly for two characters who couldn’t be further apart with regard to their intelligence. It shows that both characters are very literal thinkers, but with an enormous degree of intelligence separating them.
For Example Terry’s Best Episode was S4 episode 16 titled MooMoo
I just watched this interview of Andre. Around 2:20, he shares the story of the photo and shares that he felt like Barry White is Holt and Elton is Andy. I lost

"...when did you last see the president alive, and what colour was Dana's hair, and did you kill him and what did your cab driver look like?"
Anyone else tried to solve the math puzzle in S03E22 - The Bureau?
How did Capt Holt get 225641441636324 for the case number? He states, "I assigned a numerical value to each letter In the word Pimento, which I then squared."
Assuming a standard alpha-numeric assignment, i.e., P=16, i= 9, etc, the numbers just don't add up. I've tried:
I'm starting to think it doesn't work out mathematically. How dare they miss an opportunity like this.
Anyone else see an obvious solution??
I was rewatching season 6. ep 1 and this scene made me appreciate the subtle implications of this show.
In this scene Terry is trying to hack into Captain Holt's computer and he enters the passcode wrong once which causes the computer to self destruct. And I love how unsaid it is that this is such a Holt thing to do.
Holt is so meticulous, its completely within his character to be a the type of guy who enters his password correctly on the first attempt every single time, so much so that only someone trying to hack into would make a mistake. And also the extreme of wiping the entire hard drive, because Ray Ray would rather see his data destroyed than in a hands of a dangerous criminal.
Also my guess is that his password is the Phrase 'Dr Kevin Costner, PhD' in hexadecimal code.
GINA IN BOJACK HORSEMAN IS STEPHANIE???? ARE YOU KIDDING EM THAT IM JUST LESRNING THIS?????!!!?!
Its super hard to choose but this is at least in my top 3 favorite moments.
