Not sure why but some apps like Reddit, PayPal, and etc just won’t open while I’m connected to my home WiFi. My WiFi is working great on a few other apps just fine but not all of them. I’ve restarted my router and resent my iPhone network settings but nothing has helped.

Never had this issue until this Beta update.

Update: Problem solved! It ended up being my WiFi and not my phone.

In a nutshell, asking Siri to run a Shortcut can result in just the first Action running and you don't get a confirmation chime and Siri never dismisses itself.

Also, possibly unrelated: Siri doesn't understand "Siri Home Screen". How does it respond to that in the 17.5 beta?

Well this is VERY VERY interesting. I just installed the 17.5 beta on iOS and noticed that the 'erroneous' Apple TV hubs have now disappeared !!!! Now could this be a complete coincidence, YES, could it be that somehow after 7 months of waiting these finally fell off, YES. However running the latest beta of 17.4.1 this did not happen during running that. Therefore this has literally just changed. Wanted to share it here first as not sure if others have noticed this.

When my phone has been plugged in to CarPlay, I would get a pop up and notification sound. When hands free replying it would play a tone to let me know when to start talking. Recently the last 2 releases I have lost the tone portion of the process. No text received sound, no tone to start talking. Anyone else by chance? No dnd turned on or focus. Edit: I get it, it’s RC. Not beta. Point still stands it happens since it was a beta.

I have an automation where when I charge my phone instead of the normal charge sound it plays the Halo 1 shield recharge. The problem l've been having the last few days is randomly it will start running the automation over and over again until I turn off my phone. Even after I turned off all my automations it was still doing it. It's happened 3 times in public lol. Anyone have any issues related?

I have a theory that it is happening because I kept putting my phone on a cheapo Chinese magnetic wireless charger in my car with the power not plugged into it. I think it somehow recognized the nfr of the induction charger but the phone didn't do anything because it knows it's not being charged. Somewhere in there I think it tried to handle the errors until it stacked up in a queue and at some point it resolved them and triggers the automation over and over. I think this because it usually happens after I get out of my car where I was using the mag mount and car play. To stop it I have to turn off my phone and when it boots back up it says there was an error and the automation failed to run even though it has been disabled for days.

I have huge problem with my iPhone 12 after update. Phone restarts on random occasions and often after reboot I can’t turn on WiFi and Bluetooth until I manually restart phone. Anyone has the same problem?

iOS 17.4 (21E219) So I updated a few days ago and all of a sudden my Face ID and my front camera is not working I went to Apple for a diagnostic and they said the camera is faulty and tried blaming it on water damage as the indicator was activated . How is this possible when it was just working fine before the update!?!?

Do you think Apple will ever get around to fixing them?

Updated to the 17.4 this morning at 4:30 am and immediately killed my CGM sensor. Went thru various iterations of reboots, disabling WiFi, uninstall app, trying to reconnect sensor.

Edit: it's the latest released version of 17.4 not the RC. I've not had any issues with previous beta versions until this morning when it updated.

I'll see how it goes with the next beta update when it gets released.

Why is nobody mentioning that Remind Me actually works now in both iOS 17.4 and Sonoma 14.4?

In the latest iOS 17.4 and Sonoma 14.4 updates, the Remind Me feature has been significantly improved. It doesn't remove emails from the Inbox by default, sending notifications at the specified time, just like before. However, if you then archivr an email or move it to another folder, this results in its reappearance in the inbox at the appropriate time, and this functionality extends to emails in different syncing services, including Gmail. You can always find these snoozed emails in the “Remind Me” folder. I have tested may scenarios and it now works flawlessly!

As you are all aware, there was recently a leak which claims iOS 18 will support the same devices as 17 did. This includes the iPhone XR.

Will you run all of the betas on your XR when they come out on June 5 or 6?

Today is the first time I have noticed this, but my photos application has a delay in populating pictures that I have taken. This is on the same device.

2 Hours ago, I took a few photos, when going to my camera roll, there were only +-10 photos in the photos application, but since then it has slowly been populating with all the photos I took.

This is happening on the same device, so it's not iCloud sync delay. It seems about every 20 seconds, a new photo is processed and then added to the photos application. The total number of photos is increasing 1 at a time as they are being added.

I am curious if this is a new bug, or delay in camera processing, as this is the first time I have experienced this.

Not able to get text from some Android devices - I am able to send them texts as well as get calls from them without issues (so not blocked). Have done network reset as well as had AT&T resend an e-sim but to no avail.

I am however getting text messages from some Android devices but not alll. All of them are in my contacts.

Anyone else seeing this issue? Any suggestions?

I wasn’t able to make calls or get calls after updating to RC, tried reset, restarted, nothing seems to help so need to restore back to 17.3.1, apple really messing up with quality testing these releases.

My iPhone 14+ is repeatedly crashing and restarts, often when I have a Podcast playing through the Apple Podcast app, but also in the setting menu and while using TikTok. If sound is playing it repeats a word or two and then crashes. It is frustrating, sometimes it plays for hours without a crash and sometimes it is just a few seconds after restarting. I have tried a few things, and this was an issue with one of the public beta versions but the last version fixed it, the RC has reintroduced the bug.

• When I tap the phone to the POS Terminal, the terminals brings back the message "invalid card number". I’ve been able to pay many times before, but not anymore.
• This only happens with some Terminals, which are distributed by other banks than mine, otherwise it works as expected.
• Paying with my Apple Watch, which doesn’t have the Beta Software, works flawlessly.
• I’ve tried deleting the card and adding it again twice, it didn’t fix it.
• This issue occurred when I updated to iOS 17.4

beta 4 and persists in RC.

Could this be caused by the NFC changes in the European Union?

UPDATE: The issue was fixed in the official release of 17.4, I tested it in 3 of the stores I wasn’t able to pay at before and it worked without issues.

Still no fix to this date. I reported the issue back in December in a complete feedback. But Apple doesn’t seem to care about.

It has been like that for almost 3 years now, especially regarding animation and UI optimization. Some menus are still very buggy and feel «disconnected» from one another.

On iPhone 14 pro. Haptic Touch does not work on big clocks, photos & small widgets work fine. I have rebooted several times, idk what else I can do
