Wahiawā is a census-designated place (CDP) in Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States, on the island of Oahu. It is located in the Wahiawā District, on the plateau or "central valley" between the two volcanic mountains that comprise the island. In Hawaiian, wahi a wā means "space of the wa people". The population was 17,821 at the 2010 census. Lakes and reservoirs are rare in Hawaii, and Wahiawā is at once unique in being surrounded on three sides by Lake Wilson (also known as Wahiawā Reservoir or Kaukonahua). The town must be accessed by either of two bridges on Kamehameha Highway (State Rte. 80) across the narrow north and south arms of the reservoir.

Sorry to post unhappy news, but need to bring light to a dark problem. I was caught in a Disabled Parking Scam. Got Towed & a $135 Fee by A & H Towing. My husband parked in handicap stall closest to Surfers Coffee, came back 20 mins later car gone, there is no sign in parking lot says which businesses are part of KAC Plaza. Sign pole, but no sign. Fukuya (F*k Ya) Raman restaurant must have called tow company, too fast. No Aloha for handicapped. Can't park in muddy lot a block behind due to disability. Surfers Coffee has signs, didn't realize Raman place was so mean.
Surfers is good coffee though, nice helpful people. Mahalo!
