The UH Cancer Center’s Healthy Diet & Lifestyle Study 2 is looking for more adults (age 35-69) on Oahu, especially men. This study explores how changes in dietary habits, along with regular physical activity, can affect the amount of fat stored in the abdomen and reduce disease risk. Looking for honest opinions (good, bad, and ugly) regarding retiring at Kahala Nui. Other than the long waitlist, we have heard mixed reviews, but there doesn’t seem to be better resident ratios once you get to the assisted living side.
