Lānaʻi is the sixth-largest of the Hawaiian Islands and the smallest publicly accessible inhabited island in the chain. It is colloquially known as the Pineapple Island because of its past as an island-wide pineapple plantation.

Good Morning, Local here from Oahu- I haven't been to Lanai before. Was thinking of Island Hopping to Lanai. Anyone know a company or individuals that will do a day tour or some sort of deal where I will pay for your time touring me around and also purchase lunch/snacks. This is about a 5 -6 hour day. Not wanting to rent a car.
Would appreciate your time and for any insights.
Thanks for your help !
I have also cross-posted this in r/MauiVisitors, but hopefully someone here can also comment on my post, please...
I’m planning a trip from the mainland to volunteer at the Lanai Cat Sanctuary. I’m considering whether it would be better to fly to Maui where I would stay and commute daily, given that accommodations on Lanai are limited and expensive. Alternatively, I could spend the night in Lanai to explore after the sanctuary closes at 3 PM. I’m also looking into flying into Honolulu and then catching a flight to Lanai from HNL, as I have about 3-4 days for this trip and budget is a concern. Has anyone had a similar experience? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or insights. Thank you!
