So I have always been a fan of unconventional when it comes to cars, I like the idea of standing out. I don't intend to build it as my first car, but I've been thinking about this idea more lately and I wanted to share it. So it starts with a 1987 GMC Jimmy, slam it, cut knuckles, and for the oddity, JZ swap it. It would be a JZimmy. I also contemplated a twin turbo J35, but JZ had won out in my mind, as it just sounds much better IMO. Am I crazy to plan this idea for the future or is just crazy enough to be a fun idea?
PS. I'm not locked down on an 87, it's just my birth year, so it worked.
Having a bit of fun at ebisu. It's not a backie if you don't back it though the turn. But it is fun haha
I’m wondering if I need to get the gold pillow mount for the camber plates through SLR if I have coilovers without camber adjustment built in. The coilovers are koni yellows. They have a top bearing but I’m not sure if that serves the same purpose as the pillow mount.
And any other advice/tips when going with the ultra angle kit, or supporting mods I should do with it. Thanks.
car is so different from my stock ka s13 but man did sidex deliver with a well setup jzx (it also sounded amazing)
FBO 350z, I’m going to mount it underneath my drivers seat or my the center console. What brand/type of bracket and extinguisher do yall recommend?

Hey guys. First post here. And I thought I could share the channel. We have a closed track where we drive on. The videos coming to the channel during the winter time is shot and edited by me

What do you guys think?
I put a welded diff in my e46. The day before I drove it to the track there was a very slight whining noise and I thought it was normal. After I came back from the track (a 600 mile drive total) the whining noise became much louder. I noticed the diff had been leaking oil because one of the bearings and seal was messed up and the diff didn't have any fluid. I changed the bearing and put new fluid in and it still whines loudly. The whining noise increases as I speed up. The diff was welded by a professional with a gas welder.
The car still runs but because I put so many miles on it while the diff had no fluid, I'm worried all that heat damaged something internally. I've heard stories of welded diffs breaking down and completely locking up the wheels while driving on the highway.
I might just put my mind at ease and buy another diff and weld it. I can get one for $50.
With the season coming to a close, this is my best chase run from the whole season!
Im tempted to post some more photos/videos but unfortunately my car has my name on the side🙃
stock angle is poo but other than that i think being on the sim for a year or two prior paid off for sure. any tips would be very much appreciated next event is in two weeks🙏
In the past I used various CNC hydraulic brakes but the website I used is gone. Perhaps they're out of business or bought out or something. What's popular these days?
I tacked two corners and when I went to see if both move at the same time it stops
