Keep it Top Gear!
We'd like to keep discussions top gear related, in all
forms. Be it TV show(s), magazines or websites.
p.s. Top Gear is a long running show. We appreciate that
the version from 2002 with Clarkson, Hammond and May
is the most popular, but many subscribers are fed up with
seeing endless posts and comments asking for the current
hosts to be replaced. So please keep this in mind when
posting.

Without going into too much detail in January and onwards I suffered from hppd (Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder). When I originally started suffering from this it was the worst month or so of my life but I watched top gear, TGT and other of the trio shows and I got over the hill and kept me sane. Looking back the impact this had on me I owe so much to it as a show and to anyone involved in the production of it. It would be good to share any other good stories to come out of the best show of all time.
I know it’s TGT but who cares?
Thanks for everything lads…
What does/did everyone think of this? The whole point of it was to teach one how to be a top gear presenter and make your own top gear film, which Hammond did in his own way, including sending a stunt biker on a speed course round his house (which he claimed was Mum and Dad's house) creating that ice cream hovercraft using "engineering excellence" (more like engineering excrement😂😂) testing the top gear "training car" (which you never even see in any top gear show on TV) then tests a bunch of sports cars and races one (BMW Z4) against a jet powered RC car, races that dutch man in a big racing support truck in a bowler nemesis, and of course crashing a bunch of Ford Mondeo's into brick walls, and finishing with testing some convertible Italian supercars in Modena, Italy,
But did this DVD truly achieve what it was intended to achieve?? or was it just Hammond making a prat of himself trying to be better than Clarkson??
Let's here some opinions...
Jeremy with his homemade firework and hitting James's car with a mini digger.
Richard for using the French flag instead of UK and putting all the valet keys in a bucket, also the hairspray.
James for the lawnmower, chicken and sour cream biscuit concoction and fumbling some of the construction.
For only £2
Been rewatching all the seasons recently and all the climate change jokes are so obnoxious and dumb it lowkey takes away from the enjoyment sometimes. It’s like I’m watching a 60yo rant on Facebook it’s insane. Frankly what I find more insane is that the only good way to watch the old episodes is on that stupid ass iPlayer with a vpn, is there a reason they‘re not all on streaming?
Before anyone points to the 'ultimate pack', i'm not looking for that one.
I'm looking for a pack with only the original UK episodes (2002-2015) as they were made available back in the day, just the episodes. No extras, other series, or anything else.
I've found the ultimate pack is not entirely 'accurate', at least not for the older episodes - I don't mind the low def or grainyness, i just want the originals.
Does anyone know if such a thing still exists or am i out of luck?
Reason for asking is that i recently lost the HDD which contained all those original episodes (downloaded one by one as the series aired back in the day) and the ultimate torrent doesn't really give that nostalgia fix.
Example of one in S10 E1, talking about multitasking and driving, Jeremy talking about wanking.
