I have zero experience with this sport other than owning an x3 that I am confident driving. I have no idea where to start, how to get training or start recreational racing for experience. Any advice & direction is helpful. My rig is “race ready” once I get a quick release extinguisher and fpe, according to redbull, anyways. Thanks.
We’ve recently bought a milter bros notcher, and I’m still figuring out what I need to change from using a hole saw notcher. I’m just kinda curious how yall measure the length of pipe with angles, how far you notch in, and how you measure angles. Before i would pretty much do everything center to center. Like measuring I’d measure center to center, and if it’s a 45 or bellow add 1/2 inch for some just in case. But with the new notcher I can’t chop length of the pipe as easy as before, so I want to find the most accurate way to measure. With the hole saw style notcher, I would just measure half the diameter of the pipe, and coupe to the end of that so that the ears of the coupe would sit on the center line of the pipe. When measuring angles, I just measure from the center to center of the pipe. Please any opinions help.
I have in my possession a 1997 Buick Riviera Supercharged that Im determined to take to an off-road course or corn field to fuck around and find out. In the baton rouge area, any suggestions?
Outside of maybe the mint 400 it seems like most Us races are lacking major teams. Red Bull to my knowledge didn’t even have anyone in the mint. Certainly not Menzies. It seems like all The top guys like the mcmillins etc are only really backed for the score series of baja races. Is it only financially beneficial to back them for These races? Seems like they would want their branding going in America.

I made a highlight video for my local off road racing series CORS. Would love to know what everyone thinks! https://youtu.be/85BMJHjUc4w?si=JFPui5EI8DYCbhaB
is there any 30 - 45 min highlights from these races like the World Rally Championship has?
I remember back in 2014 or so they used to had this type of highlights here on my country's ESPN channel (in South America), but they stopped. Is there something like that over there in America that I could watch somehow? Thanks!

I set up a booth at the California 300 over last week/weekend looking to answer 2 questions:
Does this sport need more sponsorship?
Will participants embrace new vendors?
When I have 10 or so comments I will share my feedback.
