I'm thinking about buying a 2007 350z touring for 200$ that comes with no engine or transmission what is a cheap one that I could put in?
Was in a parking garage for less than an hour and came back to this. Talked to security and they said my car was in a blind spot so they can’t get details on who hit it from the cameras. Not really worth going through my insurance for a bumper but bummed out since the car was recently repainted and don’t want to order and paint match another bumper already. Any ideas? It’s cracked in 2 places so not an easy buff out
Looking to see what people think this sounds like. It started after I sent it a little hard on the highway and stalled it on the on ramp. Is there any way to diagnose it without opening the engine up?

Tell me where y’all buy aftermarket goodies for your babies! I wanna make her look pretty
Hey guys, my z started making a very loud grinding noise today. It changed with speed and when i hit the brake it would change(get louder for a second and then quieter). as I rotated the rotor it made a serious grinding noise and took a lot of effort to move. I've read it could be wheel bearing, seized piston, or slider pins. Does anyone have any insight on this? My rotors weren’t burning hot when i first removed the wheel, they don’t really seem to show damage, they have some grooves but you can barely feel them if you brush your finger across them.
so i went to change out my oem door speakers today and for some reason the stock ones arnt even grtting power, so i thought it would be a good idea to look at fac amp however that turned into a lot of broken clips for no reason since i couldn’t get to the amp even. i dont know where to find these trim pieces anyone here know the part number for them and or also why just the door speakers don’t get power? (bose sub and speakers behind seats work). thanks for any help
Would this work good on a 04 350z?
Took off upper oil pan to fix oil leak, I'm down to one bolt left over. If anyone has done this do you remember a bolt like this?
Aside from the obvious oreilly specials, I can't stand the headlight split covers, big chassis mounted wings, or lots of mismatched body panels.
So I have a base 2003 and I plan to tune it in the near future after my exhaust is completed and I was wondering if my harness has the connectors somewhere behind the dash for the cruise control buttons which I don’t have, and if so can I get a non-base steering wheel with buttons to control my maps/launch control, etc. Or is there a better approach at this and if so what are y’all using?
So as the title says I’m going to Europe for a 6 week holiday but worried abt the car sitting at home is it best to take the battery out and leave it or is there something else better to do?
I’m finding conflicting results online. I have an opportunity to get a 370 trans from my buddies part out. My trans is good but it’s an 01 and would like to have a back up. Or swap and sell before it blows up kinda deal. I’ve read they’re not the same and that they are. So long story short will it bolt up? Allow me to row gears. I don’t care if I end up with a cel light or if the rev match features work just don’t want the trans to be my weak point. So anyone done it? Does it work anything extra I need off donor car?
One of the best looking cars 🔥
My coworker had on a quick release steering wheel which we changed back to a factory steering wheel. Problem is the airbag sign is still on 😕 I tried the reset option (turn on car wait till sign goes off etc). Anyone have an idea of what the problem could be?
it’s a 2003 with about 130k miles and it seems maybe a little too good to be true, my offer was $5,500 and he said to go take a look at it.
Just wanted to pop in with a little story to add to the subreddit for anyone who may need to reference it. This morning I went to get in my car and it wouldn’t respond to the key fob, and wouldn’t unlock from the door.
I ended up running up to the Walgreens to get a battery thinking my drivers side door handle & lock cylinder spontaneously broke overnight as well as my battery giving up (highly unlikely ik) so i figured with a new key fob battery id at least be able to get the window down. One key battery later the car still wouldn’t respond.
At this point I start suspecting my battery. After scrolling through the forums of ways to get in the car, somebody mentioned popping the hood by yanking the hood release cable under the car. As I don’t have a splash shield I tried it, but this is where shit gets weird. The alarm went off, meaning the battery wasn’t completely dead. And being compelled by the alarm blaring in my ear I pressed the key fob to stop the alarm, and it worked. I pressed it again and the car unlocked. & when I went to go start the car it started with no issues.
I still have no idea why it happened but I’m gonna look into replacing my negative terminal and grabbing a battery brace just to cover my ass.
