Lost my favorite ring that has stars on it. If anyone finds it please reach out ꃋᴖꃋ
I detest dating apps and feels like I'm gonna die single. Why are classes mostly guys? Can't even help a pookie with her math/CS HW
does anyone at rita smoke or would like to smoke? i feel like i meet no smokers on campus lol
I'm currently a psych transfer in my 3rd year, so all I have left are major classes. I want to go into UX/UI (not UX research) so I plan to minor in cog sci, but I am not sure about three things:
Whether a minor in general cog sci or cog sci design would be better.
Whether a BS or BA in psych would be better for this career (or if it even matters).
If it's even worth it to get the minor or instead just take relevant classes to build up my projects/portfolio instead.
A friend of mine told me that with these tech jobs, they don't really care if you have a minor or not, but more so about your projects and experience. I'm also set on not changing my major.
Can anyone give me some insight or advice about this or just about the path towards UX/UI in general? Also if anyone has recommendations for the best classes to take for UX/UI in general that would also be much appreciated (excluding CS classes since they're virtually impossible for me to get into).
Found on Matthews Lane across Warren Lecture Hall
Taking 20b as a second year not sure if other classes use it
My dad died today morning. Hbu u guys? Anyone in the same boat? :/
Just added for my dei course. Says there’s a response paper due tomorrow but there’s nowhere to submit it on canvas, and no instructions. Am I just fucked? Or is it cap that there’s a paper due tomorrow? Any help and I’ll do something sweet for you
I got two classes that only have midterms and finals and no homework, how do the midterms and finals work in said classes? Do they ask you questions related to the book? Such as "what happened in this chapter?" Or "Who did so and so say to them" kinda confused
should i take chem 4 for fall quarter or wait for winter quarter to take chem 6?
hi im a first year cognitive psych major and im currently taking math 2 bild 3 and awp 3.
i found out there’s an opening for chem 4 with brydges and i might take that one as well. additionally, im thinking of switching my major to neurobio or cog sci w/specialization in neuroscience or cbn. is that too many classes as a first year? thoughts/opnions? lmk :D
currently taking ochem II online w ucsd ext studies, i think the prof is russian w the initials of RV we have an e-test due soon and i just wanted to ask ppl who have taken this course before or ochem w the ucsd ext program if the class is easy as people say it is and what are some tips/suggestions u recommend? i’ve heard from others on reddit it’s easy & you don’t even really have to try excessively hard & u can still pass so i was wondering what r ur thoughts?
I didn’t eat all day and thought I was hallucinating. Now that I realize it was real, I just wanted to say that I think I love you and I hope we meet again :(
where do pcw residents throw away their trash? o.O or am i just blind
Yo, are there any good spots near campus to smoke? I live in the pepper canyon area and the closest place to smoke seems to be on the street by the UCSD shuttles and the discount parking lots. Also if anyone wants to cheef hmu!
I’ve never been to one before and I want to go this weekend!
Why's it so nasty? Fruit flies buzzing around all the produce and stuff. Last night I purchased a muscle milk (peanut butter chocolate) and it was all chunky. By far the worst market place on campus
Does anyone know how to open the doors to the music/study/multipurpose rooms on the 7th floor of tapestry? Using my id and my personal code does not seem to work, and i have been seeing that they are indeed in use by other people.
I wanna see the actual video of my professor on the podcast since he writes stuff on the board on top of using the slides which are being podcasted. When I first checked the podcast I think I did see the video, but now I can’t see it for any of the podcasts. Is that the professor turning it off on their part or there a setting that I need to turn on? Thanks!
Is someone currently enrolled in this class? Csn i ask some questions if yes?
What's this small yet sudden fee that will be integrated into my tuition fee? I know I can opt-out but I don't know how meaningful it is or how much of a scam it can be. Do you pay it?
Perhaps a few?
No judgements. I love dogs. But I thought they weren't allowed without an ESA letter or service animal cred or special circumstances. There are dogs everywhere here! I've even seen some people with two dogs. I'm asking because I have dog. I don't want him to live on campus with me (he resides temp. With my parents 30 min away). But, I'd like to bring him to visit me occasionally, never left alone, just with me in my apartment over the weekend to avoid running back and forth to visit him all the time. Can I get away with it? How do they catch you? What should I avoid? Thx! 🙏🏼
Throwaway because I’m slightly embarrassed about this 😣
At 3:00 pm today (Friday) I passed the most attractive man I’ve ever seen. I have an incredibly poor memory so forgive my lack of detail, but I think you were white, pretty tall (I’m 5’6 and you were much taller than me), and you had a great sense of style. I wouldn’t necessarily call your outfit trendy, but rather striking in a unique way. I can’t remember specifics but I think you might’ve been wearing black striped pants (?) and a (red?) baseball hat?
I think you might have noticed me since I was checking you out pretty hard, so if you remember an alternative girl staring at you then this message could be for you! Again, this was at around 3 PM on library walk (kind of in front of Target) you were headed in the direction of Geisel and I was walking towards the street.
I apologize for not talking to you right there and then, but I was so mesmerized by you I couldn’t think straight. Also, we were both headed in opposite directions so I didn’t have a lot of time to make a move. About five seconds after we passed I came out of my trance and turned around to try to find you, but by then you had disappeared into the crowd.
If this sounds like you, please dm me your IG or something so I can confirm!!
Anyways, I know this is pretty embarrassing and a long shot, but you were literally the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. So. Even if you’re not interested I hope this makes your day lmao
Thanks for listening and if you know anyone who fits this description pls lmk🫡
Edit: also you might’ve been wearing sunglasses possibly 😎
Same as title
heyy recently applied for some jobs on campus (specifically hi-desk/other front desk positions) it says they’ve read my application but no contact back. I heard some people hear back days after reviewing- weeks after reviewing- How long does it usually take for employers to get back before I should consider the application denied lol
How difficult is BICD 100? It is my first upper division bio class and I am extremely nervous that I won’t pass. Is it manageable/should I be able to pass? Any tips appreciated!
I just joined the waitlist and am number 1 for one of the sections. Are my odds of getting in decent or should I look for a diff dei?
