So I’m retaking one of my lower div stem course again and I’m doing terrible to say the least. I prepared for the wrong things, missed out on points I could have gotten had I focused on this and that.. I’ve just been feeling really down and beating myself for it. I feel like I’m behind all my fellow classmates and stupid which I probably am. I’m currently a second year but I haven’t even tried to get into internships and researches yet or attend some sort of convention to meet recruiters. It’s all because I feel like I’m not qualified enough to even try and join. I’ve been having this mentality that I gotta reach a certain level before applying since I see myself as lower than average. My gpa sucks, I have terrible social skills, and I can’t seem to study smart since I somehow got through high school with straight As without learning how to study.

Maybe I should change my major? I want to stay with it since I don’t really have any other interests. I don’t know what to do. I just need some sort of advice to guide me in the right direction, probably should have found a therapist or something but I don’t know any.

So I'm gonna graduate this year, and I really just wanna enjoy my last quarter and make the most of it. The most important thing to me is that I'm able to enjoy my last quarter and treat myself for all the work I've done to get to where I am. Any cool classes y'all are thinking that are about as easy as they get? Thx in advanced!!!!!

I’m so devastated to hear the spicy peanut udon is gone forever from the noods menu. It was my favorite go-to and this was what my order was whenever I got to it. I'm invited to UC Riverside for a "recruiting day" with the biology department. I applied to UC Riverside for biology PhD and the chair sent me an email inviting me to this event. He said they're excited for the prospect of having me as a PhD candidate in their program. Does this mean that I should see this recruiting day as an informal interview? I sent him an email asking this question yesterday and he hasn't responded yet. I guess he's busy and taking time to answer but I'm always nervous when I'm waiting on answers from professors.

Hello, in 2024 I applied to and was accepted into UCR. I was going to go there and signed up for housing, but I withdrew my acceptance after I got into UC Irvine and I currently go there. However, UCR just sent me a bill for late housing fees for winter 2025. Is there any way I can get them to drop this fee? I am very confused as I'm not even a student there anymore.
