ik a lot of people have already talked about this but I genuinely have no idea how to make closer connections with people and it just feels so lonely. I talk to a lot of people but it’s all surface level and never goes any further while it feels like everyone around me has already found friend groups. No one ever asks to spend time with me and it feels like i’m the one initiating every single conversation and it’s just exhausting. someone tell me gets better cause I’m missing my high school friends so much rn

i know yesterday was blackout, but does that kind of crowd/ liveliness happen weekly? is it only on thursdays and also do you need to be in a sorority to get into frat parties?

Currently, I'm enrolled in 15 units and taking an extra upper div course (4 units) that I do not need - only taking it rn to stay above the 12 units minimum for financial aid. My contract for SRP-199 was accepted but will not be added until this upcoming week (my counselor said any time before the end of week 2). Could I drop the upper div rn if I'm just waiting for the 4 units from SRP to kick in? If anyone has dealt with a similar situation or knows how this process works, please let me know. Thank you!

hey guys it’s me again and i’m back with yet another complaint about the laurel apartment’s laundry room. last time i was angry because it was so filthy and left my laundry dirtier than it originally was. this time there’s at least SEVEN washing machines out of order. i first noticed this on wednesday, oct 2, and the laundry room was packed with irritated students. i go back today to try to do my laundry and they’re still all out of order! that’s at least 3 days. i swear some more are broken now and there’s really not that many machines to begin with! also do you know how many times i’ve been scammed and got wet clothes out of the dryer?? like three times! and i use different machines!!! every time i try to log in to submit a maintenance request it says my university ID or password is invalid. can someone else submit a work order plz??? i got one more year here but it’s not even week 2 yet.

i have a sony digicam and cannot for the life of me find a cable that fits into it. i keep ordering cables and they don’t fit and it’s so expensive and then i have to walk all the way to return them. i was wondering where i might find a ton of camera equipment on campus so i can try out cables and see if any of them might fit into my camera and then i can order something i KNOW will fit?
