Hello! I am trying to find the episode where supergirl is fighting a swarm of gundam action figures. Please help, I am dying to know.
It seems like such a complicated choice but personally I am for Agentreign but I would like to have your opinion on 🤔
I guess it could be to not draw attention or anything but the red k episode in season 1 showed the she could. I like how she looks kind of like the girl next door but it’s like who would care if she dressed differently maybe other than cat.
When in reality, because of the phantom zone, she's actually over a decade older than Cat 😭
Kara is in a room with a wall of photos, she gets into a rage and uses her heat vision to destroy the photos.
Any help 😭🙏🏼
For those who don't know Rojarias is the ship name for Andrea Rojas and Sam Arias. If these two characters were going to get together despite never meeting in the actual show, how would you write the relationship?
I could see them bonding as women in business as well as their experiences in being forced to turn evil.
Like wtf?! Every other season, but the LAST ONE?!
A gag reel is a blooper reel. They just call it a gag reel. 🤷🏼♀️
I’m confused on how Argo is supposed to look like in supergirl. Some part of it is so futuristic like the robot, the spaceships, the science. But they dress like medieval times. They sell clothes and food on the street and everybody is just walking everywhere and nobody is using any kind of transportation like a flying machine like in (divergent/allegiant). Do they just walk from places to places? Am I missing something?
In season 1 episode 15 indigo appears and in later seasons they introduce Brainy. I guess my question is why do they look so different? She mentions she is a Brainiac 8 and I remember him saying he was called Brainiac 5. So is he just less advanced, a different species, or something else?
Another thing to point out is that the fortress itself and the console Kara uses are different from later seasons. I believe it is because they moved production from LA to Vancouver but did they ever give an explanation? If they did not then I would like to say I think Barry creating flashpoint is what caused the fortress to change.
I do not understand why that wasn’t one of the timelines Mxy showed Kara. This was a scenario where Kara was going to reveal herself to Lena. Yeah, Lena was talking about trust issues, but at least Kara would’ve done though with it and Lex wouldn’t have told Lena before Kara did.
So I’m rewatching Supergirl and I just noticed how underrated Winn is. Without Winn Indigo would still be here, it would have been much harder to figure out Bizarro. He is the true hero behind the hero. I hate how they pushed him to the side in the later seasons. So happy we got to see him in season 5. I would have rather put Winn in a relationship with Lena than made his gf or possible gf evil or use him or somethin. (Sorry about the length of this no one i know watches Supergirl.)
I recently finished watching the show, and having watched a few seasons of Arrow and Flash, I noticed this. I tried to search the internet to see if there was a feud between the producers, Warner and the writers and found nothing except the Andrew Kreisberg scandal. On the other hand, Superman & Lois, which is almost a spin-off of Supergirl, seems to have had a much higher level of investment and quality criteria than the show it was derived from.
Do you guys also feel that something happened, or am I delusional?
Has the cast or TV show executives ever explained how Lex was able to get the clips of Kara being Supergirl that he showed to Lena? Does anyone know the explanation or is it just another plot hole that the writers failed to provide an answer for? Also sorry if someone has asked this before. I'm new to this chat
According to season 5, the reason Kara didn't tell Lena her she was Supergirl is because Kara wanted to protect Lena. Season 5 really wants us to believe that. In the season finale, Kara still cites that as the reason for the "one mistake" she made, and Lena says she has come to understand that Kara really was just trying to protect her. And hell, we have a time travel episode where we see 3 instances of Kara telling Lena earlier in their friendship, and 2/3rds of those end up with Lena physically harmed or killed.
But when I watch earlier season, mainly season 4... that does not seem to be the real reason. Something about the "I just wanted to protect Lena so I never told her" argument just doesn't really work in terms of this show, and it really doesn't feel like it works in terms of season 4.
It always felt like Kara told herself that she was lying to Lena to protect her, but in reality Kara was in denial over the real reason she never told Lena. I expected Kara to have an arc in season 5 where she realized that the real reason she lied to Lena for so long was because of X reason, but that arc never occurred.
And I remember that at the time, different fans had different ideas for why Kara didn't tell Lena. Some thought Kara just didn't trust Lena. Some thought Kara didn't want to lose Lena and that was it. Some thought that Kara liked having a friend like Lena who cared for and believed in her without knowing she was a superhero, and Kara wanted to selfishly keep that. I've seen a lot of different fans justifications.
But it's been a while since then, and I didn't check back on if the community had a consensus.
So... do we have a consensus on why Kara didn't tell Lena? Does the community accept the "wanted to protect Lena" idea, or do we, with the context of the previous seasons, have a solid enough consensus on a different reason Kara never told Lena.
She is shown many times punching people, which should kill them by brute force, and using heat vision on others, which should also kill them. So how many times has she used strength that should have killed ordinary people?
