I'm binge watching the show and I'm trying to figure out just what kind of accent was Jada trying to pull off for Fish?!?! It's just so bad.
Heya! Me and my buddy are currently working on organizing a Gotham discord server!! It will be a community server and invites will be open. This will be a place for discussions of the show and just chatting in general.
I wanted to try and see how many people would be interested in joining, id appreciate if you upvote/ leave a comment to let me know ^_^
Your telling me that penguin the new mob boss of Gotham took 2 men and butch to save his mother the one person he cherishes such bullshit why didn’t he take like zaszz
Also that death surprised like damm
i see a lot of the guns are ones from the 90s like the p229 and the s&w 5900 series, penguin is a flashy guy and would probably want the newest and best guns of the time, the sig p229 came out in 97 but had a little aging to it, not sure if the prop department took this into consideration but if they did then im guessing s4 is set in around 1998 or 99, if anyone has a more accurate date or evidence to narrow it down id love to hear it
Not sure if its just a continuity error or an error on the courts part but if they knew jim well enough to invite him into the court of owls, surely they wouldve known he wouldnt be okay with the entirety of Gotham being "judged" and tried (release of the tetch virus), from what ive interpreted hes fairly famous in gotham for being a hero of sorts, putting others lives before his own, whats up with that?
I don’t like how we follow fish Mooney and her whole basement saga ( even though I enjoyed it ) then she comes back to Gotham and dies Instantly
It’s all this hype for nothing
Recently did a post about finishing season 1 and I'll do that when I finish this season but I need to talk.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the riddler in this he's everything I love about the character. Him acting like a baby or getting angry when he got caught like a kid would've because of when he hears IA taped his call it was said with no words his expression and plots were so fucking cool and actually made me gasp once. The complicated plan of the framing was so cool AND GORDON SEEING HIM IN HIS HOUSE WAS SICK! I love they portrayed him as smart and not just a joke like some comics and media do. Also loved how he would force himself to leave a clue leading to his downfall like the games and movies. He really felt like a killer or something and I could watch a whole show of just him. The bombing and the crowbar are just genius. Also how they used Ed saying he feels alive and changed when he first killed paring with Penguin killing was cool and I love him so much it felt like SO ACCURATE to everything I love about him! Felt like I was playing Arkham games or reading a comic. Idk how hot this take is but he's my favorite on screen riddler I prefer him as goofier but still a serious threat
Title explains itself what if Penguin stepmother or her kids decided that because of Penguin history it would be much more convenient and a safer option to plant the Poison on him and lie to the cops he killed his dad in order to inherit the money and restore himself back to power. Rather than risk he meeting up with a lawyer and getting his money(which they discussed even on the show was on concern) or worse finding out what they did and killing them.
Im currently rewatching Gotham (im on s4) and I cant tell if they're saying valeska or velaska
Hi my name is Jlynn Lobo , i am 16 years old i am new to Reddit and i would love to know more about Gotham
during s1 ep13
fish mooney just strolls in did penguin have no other guards other than gabe i just thought Falcone would have given him some or he would have hired some but no
i just find it odd and wierd
I would love to see a reboot of Gotham and some might disagree. I feel the show didn't delivered what they promised.
Gotham wasn't bad neither was that good.
I'm really enjoying the direction Lee Thompkins is taking and seriously, what a sad ending to episode 7 of season 4, stop hitting yourself, where Gordon becomes captain at the end (the last one I've watched so far), I think this is the saddest episode of the series so far, for certain things, I finished it feeling really bad.
Here's my ranking Season 2 Season 4 Season 1 Season 3 Season 5
As we know, at the end of season 5, Jim decided to leave or as Alfred put it, retire. But I just don’t get how or why he would do that. He’s roughly 41-45 years old I’d say after I saw someone mention he’s 29 in season 3. I’d imagine as police commissioner for 10 years he’d be getting a pretty good salary, especially considering how good he was at it but also he had probably 1 year, 3 months of no pay at all in season 5. To me it just doesn’t make sense, financially how he planned to retire at 45 latest, and he still lives in a small apartment with Lee. I also don’t see the incentive of it in any aspect other than he gets a bit of a rest. But 40 years is a long rest especially with Lee probably working for a long time still.
I want you to tell me te most funny moments of Jeremiah and the most scary moments of Jerome.
Did anyone notice the mucis score change when that character was shown in s3e15 around the 40 minute mark. It changed to the music of Dexter, nice easter egg.
Im sure its been noticed by someone but i didnt catch it till my second rewatch.
I thank its neat.
This may be a bit unpopular but Jerome got his start in violence because he was a sensitive brat. His words were “don’t come yell at me to do the dishes if you’ve been banging a clown in the next room”. Wicked introduction to his character, but just struck me as a sensitive little boy.
Why do they portray penguin as gay? Any other penguin isn't gay? Even the new penguin on Max has a lady
while I'm stil lgoing through a rewatch (I'm at the first jerome episode), the show does from what I reccall have fantastical elements too like the hugo strange stuff or mr freeze and jerome laughing gaz (I think the show showed it can work in live action, if a show like gotham can make a bunch of batman villains work in live action then so can movies).
Ra's could also count as a less grounded element, same with poison ivy. I think if the show made riddler classic suite work well, they could've had the two face black and white design as well .
I’m rewatching Gotham and really delighted by some of these villain portrayals. Which Gotham villain would you most want to see in the Reeve’s movies? Which Gotham villain would you most want to see in the Gunn DC universe? To be clear, you are taking both the character and the actor
My top 3 for Reeves would be: 1) Pyg. 2) Mad Hatter 3) Hugo Strange
Gunn DC: 1) Mad Hatter 2) Hugo Strange 3) Jerome/Jeremiah Joker
