2. No Low-Effort Content | Threads that are considered low effort are subject to removal at the mods’ discretion. We will remove content completely unrelated to Supergirl as well as posts that are intended solely to gain karma, i.e., “Literally just a picture of . . .” Shitposts that do not contain any substantial material relevant to Supergirl fall under this, as do reposts and any sort of spam. |

Inflammatory and/or offensive comments made with the intention of stirring up drama are not allowed. Continuous uncivil behavior may result in a ban. Just wanted to know for future discussions regarding supergirl if this panel also counts as a speed feat for her as well. I know that she was unconscious in the panel and Superman stated that she moved with “sheer inertia” and the definition of inertia is: “property of matter by which it continues in its existing state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line, unless that state is changed by an external force.”
So anyways do y’all count this as a valid speed feat for her as well or not?
Heres a link to the panel: https://preview.redd.it/pre-crisis-superman-was-so-powerful-that-he-once-broke-v0-t2bhyk0j8boa1.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=dbcd4ba15c4b185260614a259c4352055723e303

Hello, Reddit! I came across a Supergirl comic by the artist Matías Bergara. I really like his drawing. Is there a list of other Supergirl comics that he has created? I will be very grateful for your help.
Honestly I would rather wait years for them to release a GOOD comic series than have them ship out mediocre stuff and call it Supergirl.
But if you consider the current state of Supergirl comics it is the way it is for legitimate reasons (which DC comics would know better than fans).
We all know how much DC comics loves to reboot universes and backstories.
My guess is they might decide to start up a comic again ONLY when they think they will reap maximum profits.
On other words... after the WOT movie hits. I find it not coincidental that the Rebirth Supergirl comic ran concurrent with Supergirl TV show for a while (profit motive) despite the differences between them.
So assuming they don't reboot the DC universe for the upteenth time, they may stick with current Supergirl or reboot her to fit the WOT Supergirl and start a comicbook that builds from there.
I don't really know. I'm guessing.
Just started watching it, she plays a reporter on tour with a female presidential front runner.
Also she drops some F bombs
There’s a panel, from a Supergirl issue I believe, that I saw a few years ago, but I can’t find it anywhere. If I remember right, it’s of Kara in her bedroom, looking at her suit in all wardrobe, with her saying something along the lines of “maybe it’s time I beat up someone other than myself?” Does anyone know what issue this is from?
Maybe its because I grew up with a professional hairstylist, but I pay too much attention to hair. I have noticed many a crunchy wig in this show. Astra, The white streak in her hair could've been cute but it looks like somebody slapped a hot topic hair extension on the side of her head and called it a day. Livewire and indigo also had some crunchy/stiff wigs. Is this a constant or is it just because its season 1 and they don't have a huge budget?
Season 6 is just a video game play entirely, along with Jumanji tbh. "Do thus to find this then use it to do this then find the next thing" like come one guys, be more creative!
The Netflix Series. Anybody notice how it turned into some sort of video game ploy? Like episode 16 when Nxyly has the Lex suit, her voice is giving her instructions that sound just like an NPC. Like it was giving Poppy Playtime after a while. "Use this hand for this power, then your other hand to shoot a portal. Hurry, somethings coming!" It just got me thinking how good of a game it would be, you know?
Okay so in dc shows like Supergirl, and The Flash, characters like Leslie/Livewire and maybe Deathstorm or other metas (i can’t think of any others in the flash but ik his situation was different) but specifically Leslie. She was a normal human radio host, I mean maybe problematic and confrontational, but she turned into Livewire after getting her powers. I’m just wondering if there’s a reason or possible theories as to why some people turn into their evil counterparts aka when Livewire says “Leslie is dead” “My name is Livewire” stuff like that, when they turn into Metas. I know Caitlyn Snow in The Flash turned into Killer Frost, but the writers ultimately went with the plot of Killer Frost being a whole other person/sister inside of Caity so I can’t really use her as an example. There’s also some metas that become hero’s, but most struggled with using their powers in a negative way aka Ralph Dibney/Allegra. Any theories?
