Why hasn't WB given Static Shock 2000 the same treatment Disney gave X-Men 97? The show was incredibly ahead of its time. Something that modern audiences could still enjoy. Why not reboot the classic show? Why not a live action film? Why?
For some reason there’s tons of videos for the flash, but very few for this movie. In general, I really like watching behind the scenes for big productions like this, so it’s unfortunate they seem difficult to find.
Here’s the three I found
My opinion: They're pretty good for what they are. They're by no means masterpieces, but they're not trying to be. Just some solid light superhero entertainment. My favorite would have to be Cosmic Clash.
I was able to find a list for all of DCAMU and Tomorrowverse and watch it in order. However, I was wondering if the rest of the animated movies all fall the " DC Universe Animated Original Movies" umbrella.
So if I watch these three "series" I would have watched all of the animated movies DC had put out or are there more DC animated movies that doesn't fall under of of these 3 categories and I'll have to go hunt for it.
Just thought of this. I’m assuming maybe later in the timeline he found out from the kryptonian ship that zod was doomsday, but was there any showing of it in the movie or later ones?
There is no doubt that Batman V Superman was one of the most anticipated comic book movies of all time, so fan theories were a common element among people.
What were your favorite theories? They could be theories you heard from someone else, or your own theories as well.
One of my favorite theories I heard went like this:
Lex Luthor was somehow going to discover that the rays of Krypton's red sun were going to take away Superman's powers, so he was going to trick him by faking a terrorist attack inside Lexcorp, which would lure Superman to the building and Luthor would capture him there. And in case he escaped, there would also be soldiers with kryptonite bullets. And Luthor, using Zod's corpse, was going to create Bizarro, which in the beginning would be Zod being drastically transformed into an exact physical copy of Superman, and he would follow the orders of Luthor and the government. Which explains the scene of Superman kneeling before Luthor.
This would give way to an introduction to Amanda Waller, who would have a surprise participation in the film and linking it to Suicide Squad 2016. At a time prior to all this, Superman was summoned to the Capitol, and the government would tell him that if he wants to be part of Earth, he must serve the interests of the US government, to be considered a US citizen. Obviously, Superman rejects this, so they use Bizarro as a weapon against countries to colonize them, which is why the evil Superman shown in the trailers had soldiers with the S on their arms. He would also explain why they were always shown in desert places, because they were somewhere in the Middle East. This would serve as a criticism of the government for the excuses it makes for the war.
It was also an explanation for the shot in the trailers, of the woman raising her hands to the sky, while Superman's face was shadowed, due to two possibilities:
1.- The clone was taking on a more monstrous appearance, so it was going to be a terrifying revelation for the civilians, who would be killed.
2.-Actually, the clone had no orders to save the civilians, and the government, for some reason, did not want him to rescue them. These details were going to provoke so much polemic, with the entire population criticizing Superman. It is also the explanation for the graffiti on the statue saying: FALSE GOD.
Then, Batman would discover this, which explains the brutality shown in the trailers, since he knew that he was not the real Superman. And the warehouse scene, instead of rescuing Martha, he would rescue Superman, fighting against militaries with advanced technology and hacking into Lexcorp's systems. Furthermore, this would serve to demonstrate the development of their friendship, since, according to the theory, Batman was almost going to die, using the Batwing, although it is not specified how, and now it was going to be Superman who rescued him.
Something similar to the end of Public Enemies.
And you, what were his favorite theories?
I know Gunn has talked about which comics have directly inspired all the upcoming DCU films, but not sure if he's said about Teen Titans.
I'm watching the Penguin trailer.
Who is she?

I know everybody, including myself,
calls the new DCEU (DC Extended Universe) as DCU now. It seems to coincide with the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). But should it technically be called the DCCU (DC Cinematic Universe).
Or is this just one of this understood things about the acronym?
Edit: To add to the above. I was trying to find out if there was a new differentiation for the new Superman movie coming out verses the DC live-action movies that have already been released. Probably should have started with this. My bad.
How many people are excited for this
There are a lot of things that don't add up, Superman Returns is supposed to take place 5 years after Superman 2, this movie takes place in 1980, but in Returns for some reason we see cell phones, technology that didn't exist in the 80's, newspapers with the year 2006 and things we haven't seen in the other movies like a mention of Gotham City, which I'd like to think was the one from Batman Begins.
My theory is that Superman Returns is a different universe than the first two Christopher Reeve movies, but where the same events happen, obviously, in different times, it's like an inspiration. Something similar to Affleck's Batman, where before his movie against Superman, he already had Robins, and many stories with his enemies afterwards. I don't know if you get the point. Anyway, this is my first post here, thanks.
Lets' make an exercize. Take one DC character and describe how he/she would be if made for the Batman TV show of Adam West (naturally one that did not appeared already), and if you will maybe the actor of the time who would play it.
On villains I would think of:
