Looking for my daughter a Wrangler and found one at a reputable dealership that is a 2015 Sport Unlimited, 151k miles for $15k.
We test drove it and it drove very nice period, much less with that many miles. Engine was smooth, Transmission was fine, steering was good. We did see the check engine light and traction control light was on. The sales guy wasn’t sure what was up since it was Saturday and the techs weren’t there and to check back Monday when they could throw a diagnostic box to read the codes. He called back after we left and said his boss had one and they ran it and it came back the fuel injector on cylinder 4 needed replaced and “something to do with some kind of canister”. They weren’t sure what the second one was.
I don’t mind the injector as it looks simple enough though time consuming to replace if needed. But my question is this worth fooling with? It’s for my daughter and while she will be around town I still down want to send her out in something unreliable.

Im loving this jeep. Bought it a month ago bone stock and have been having a blast wrenching on it. 2.5in BB, 265/75/16s, "Viper" coil swap (Just got one for a grand caravan). Rebuilt front end after my first case of DW with the lift. Holy shit, I never knew how bad DW actually felt. Anyway, having a blast. Whatchya think? 🤙😁

My current jeep grand cherokee just broke a 150k miles and its 12 years old. So I am going to buy a new used JGC no more than 2 maybe 3 years old if the mileage is low enough. My question is is there any year models that I need to avoid that has issues. Like my current jeep got the po6dd code and needed a new oil pump solenoid for example.
Hi all!
I just bought a jeep XJ and was trying to diagnose my passenger side window not working. It doesn’t work from the master switch on drivers side or passenger side. When I try to roll it down, the lights in the car shut off, radio, dash and any other interior lights. If anybody knows what the problem is please lmk! Thanks!
Hi, all! I just bought this XJ and I have a lot of questions and need some input. I want to make this car reliable and run nicely, I got new serpentine belt, radiator, water pump and hoses, valve cover gasket, and new fluids put in.
I am planning on replacing leaf springs, as you can see it’s sagging in the back. If I replace the rear, shouldn’t I replace the front ones too? My tires scrape when going over bumps (sometimes) and when I make sharp turns. I want to lift it about an inch or two. While I’m replacing leaf springs should I also buy new shocks, and possibly control arms? It drives pretty nice right now but the previous parts I listed have never been replaced and I’m at 160k miles.
Down the road I plan on getting headers, cold air intake, throttle body, and exhaust system. If you guys can give me any tips or advice on what to do next or first with all the things I listed, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
I got invited awhile back and mostly started getting things based on past orders. Computer components, things to do with travel since I do a lot for work, but more and more things have been added as things rotate. There’s a lot for newer Jeeps, JK, JKU, JL, but not much on the older models. But lights. Lots of lights…
I’ve picked up a bunch of lighting and going to add some to my TJ. So far, this is what’s shown up. I just have to decide what to try, keep or move.
I’ve grabbed a few ditch mounts to put the 7” on the back of the hood. May put these at the top of the list on the A column mount, add some to the front bumper mounts. We’ll see.
But curious to see if anyone else out there has been invited to Vine and what they have picked up.
I have a 1997 Grand Cherokee Laredo, the alarm keeps going off shortly after I lock my vehicle. Is there a way to disable the alarm system permanently so that I can lock my vehicle, i leave it unlocked but i was broken into and someone stole all my stuff from vehicle. Any help is appreciated.
I just had to replace the transmission on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 96,000 miles, bought it used 3 years ago with 54,000 miles.
Still not sure how / why the transmission failed so early… but I digress. I just picked up my car from the shop and the dashboard looks different (speed gauge), the reverse camera doesn’t show the parking outline when backing up like it did before, the lock / unlock button on the key fob is silent now and doesn’t make a noise, and the touching the handle no longer causes the door to unlock, I manually have to unlock the car every time.
I know the shop reset the computer / relearned to the program in order to close out the codes, but is this something that can be changed? Do I need to go to a Jeep dealer to re-program the computer correctly? Any help would be appreciated!

Light came on. Cyl 4 misfire. I changed the plugs. Life was peachy for a month. Light came on again…cyl 4 misfire.
Now what?
Jeep GC 2022 limited Current specs: Dimension: 18x8 Offset: 50mm Current: 5 Y spoke Lugs: 5 Bolt pattern: 127mm Width: 8 Diameter: 18” Finish: silver Material: Aluminum OE part number: 68533598AA
Current tire specs: 265/60/18
Current rims link: https://autorimshop.com/products/2022-jeep-grand-cherokee-20-oem-wheel-rim-w95206b
I’m hoping that these rims would be suitable and I can just throw some all season tires on these but I’m just unsure of the overall compatibility if these will just swap straight on with no issues. Would anyone be able to provide some guidance with their expertise on whether these would work and/or if I need to add something to the car to get them to work? I’m hoping to avoid that and just buy these rims and maybe get a tire recommendation as well to just throw these on with no issues.
If these rims wouldn’t work, would anyone be able to provide a link to some that would? Thanks.
I want black gloss wheel skins for my 2021 jeep cherokee but I can’t seem to find anything for the wheels that I have. What is the name of this wheel and why are there no wheel skins for it?
Unfortunately this is pretty simple. I was getting ready to hit the trail tomorrow and part of my checklist is inspecting the winch line. I put it in freespool, pulled the line, inspected, good to go. Went to engage the clutch and the handle moves about an inch and freezes. I tried tapping it with a rubber mallet and nothing. Manual doesn’t list this as a potential issue. Help!
I have an issue that happens at low rpm and idle where these two lights come on then the car starts to rough idle and won’t go over 3000 rpm. However the 3000 rpm limit can happen during 2500 rpm but the lights don’t come on
Found in my late father’s jeep along with the rear seatbelts.
Workers at a Jeep factory in Ohio are concerned over the announced layoffs as the company takes further steps to cut high inventory at dealerships.
Not surprised.
Since stingers are popping up more, here’s mine
I'm not saying these type of bumpers are bad, I like them, but in my personal preference, it's just a little too high. It was almost 2 feet above the hood. The highest I would have done is 8-10 inches above.

I get a crank no start when the temp drops out side. It is never consistent though. Only when a drop in temp. I have replaced the starter, csp, I can hear the fuel pump prime for like 1 sec when I turn it on, new battery. What else could it be or should I check.
