As the title states. Im dumping coolant out of what looks like bottom front right of engine. Any ideas on where to look tomorrow when I pull the bottom panel off and take a look. I have a 2016 Summit with the 5.7 hemi.
Can anyone post any mods they have done to their Laredo?
Check engine late came on about a week ago. Finally had my dad take it to the shop to see what’s wrong says fuel injector #3 is open. I come home and get in it to find it puttering and jumping. Any ideas on what that may be?
Buying my first Grand Cherokee and decided I’m going to go the pre-owned route since I like the older design. Two options im looking at
Option 1: 2020 Overland trim, 39k miles, priced at $25,800. Would be buying from a non-jeep dealer (was a trade in at local Chevy dealer) so wouldn’t be CPO. Granite exterior and light frost/brown interior.
Option 2: 2021 limited trim, 26k miles, priced at $29,500. CPO by jeep dealership. White exterior, tan interior
Really like the overland trim but also like the idea of getting a CPO. Not sure what extended warranty options look like outside of a jeep dealership.
Any feedback on best route to go?
My wife updated her 2021 Grand Cherokee L software a few days ago. After the update the display will attempt to start, display the Jeep screen, display the “accept” screen, shut off and repeat the cycle over and over.
After anywhere from 30-45 min of driving, it will make it past that cycle and display normally.
I’ve attempted a soft reset by holding the power button, but it doesn’t make any difference. All her settings were also changed after the update (MPH -> KM; F -> C; etc) Seems like the update didn’t fully complete and left the software in a bad state
Was looking at this SRT Cherokee online. Noticed the speedometer goes up to 190? Is this a swapped dash?
Has anyone replaced their OEM tires with larger, more rugged-looking ones? Something like in the attached photo. Which brand or specific tire would fit stock 2023 black Altitude wheels? Did you opt to use a lift kit?
Has anyone done a wheel offset mod so the wheels sit further out from the car's body?
most mornings i’m able to use the fob to start my car like normal. but some mornings (like today) no matter what i do or how many times i try, it will only beep once, not twice, and therefore not actually start my car. its driving me actually crazy so if anyone has had this issue & figured out what the problem was please let me know
This just started occurring today. '14 GC Overland. Now that I think about it. I probably should get a video with the sound. It sounds like a baseball card in the spokes of a bicycle. Clearly coming from the rear end. It mostly happens when coasting at speed. If I press a bit of gas to maintain speed, it stops. If I give it gas to speed, it happens slightly. More prevalent while no gas and coasting. I did try putting it in neutral and coasting, no effect. Its not consistent, or everytime that I drove it today.
Anybody with some good suggestions?
Vehicle is a 2015 SRT. I've been getting the "Service Four Wheel Drive" message on my dash everytime I start it for close to 6 months after I ran different size tires, same size but different wear amounts, for maybe 50 miles. Scan tool gives me DTC C1438-00 (Transfer Case Differential Clutch Worn) & C1476-00 (Clutch Position Out Of Range). Has anyone done this repair themselves? If so, how bad was it? If I keep driving it, ultimately what could happen? I knew my traction control was not fully working but I couldn't even drive up a slight hill in the snow today, it was like it went in 2wd as soon as it started losing traction and that really sucks because this Jeep did amazing in the snow and ice before. Any thoughts, advice or trash talk is appreciated, thank you.
My seat warmer on the driver side stopped working, anyone have this same issue? What needed fixed?
I've been in and out of the shop for months trying to get the air suspension fixed on my 2019 GC Summit and the last thing the service manager said rubbed me the wrong way: he said I shouldn't be using the manual height adjusters /ever/ unless there's a problem.
IMO these are factory-installed controls for a factory-installed option, so I should be able to use them any time I want without worrying about it causing issues. What do others think?
Note: I understand I can't constantly cycle the height up and down, it will overheat the compressor, but I get error codes if I try to change the height once in a drive...like lowering to entry/exit when I park.
Hello,
I have a problem with my Jeep WJ 4.0. I have changed the oil pressure sending unit, and still have low oil pressure when the motor is warmed up, with "check gauges" on. The pressure is normal when I just start the jeep and it is cold. I did a oil flush before with a 10w30 one, and new filter but the problem was already there.
Any idea ?
Would be much appreciated :)
I have a 2019 Grand Cherokee & when I went to start my jeep today, it would try to click over for a few seconds, turn on, then started hissing under the hood & shut off & the hissing continued for like 30 more seconds. Anybody have a clue what that could be? It’s 10°F today & im not sure if there was water or something in my exhaust that could have froze and caused that? TIA
Laredo 2007 with Rough Country 2 inch lift kit and 1.5 wheel spacers. 265/70/17
Check engine light came on about 15 minutes into driving. Went by O Reillys to get a read and it said “temperature sensor battery range low”. Guy said he’d never seen it before, it didn’t even have a suggested fix. Anyone know anything about this?
If it’s relevant, outside temperature has read 100-110 degrees F for about a week on the dash. It doesn’t adjust to the actual temperature when driving.
Looking for trackhawk motor for this Beauty ... Any recommendations?
i’m buying a used 2022 loredo x this sunday and it’s coming with halogen headlight bulbs - is there any brand recommendations anyone has for some plug and play LED bulbs ? also, i believe the fog lights are also halogen, so any recommendations would be great

I get out of my 2024 Grand Cherokee Limited L and the instrument cluster stays lit with, “Press Brake to Start Ignition.”
The back light is staying on, this morning I woke up to a dead battery.
Does anyone know a fix?
Looking for a trackhawk engine for my jeep grand cherokee 2015 4x4 laredo. Any recommendations?
I'd like to put 18" tires on winter rims on my Grand Cherokee, is it possible?
Thanks!
I drive a 2020 jeep grand Cherokee, and I believe the issue I am dealing with is delamination. I believe I am out of my cars warranty and just don’t know the best solution for this issue. Has anyone tried replacing their screen on this new of a model? Or been able to hassle to get it replaced out of warranty. I saw an older thread on this subject but wanted to post just to see if there’s any new info. Any information is helpful!
There’s an intersection that whenever I pass through it I get the “lane detection/park assist unavailable” warning.
For the longest time I thought it was happening periodically in mornings after sitting over night because it happened on my way to work.
Running errands yesterday afternoon, it happened and I noticed it’s the same intersection it always happens at.
Perhaps it’s affected by the system that emergency vehicles use to change lights?
I have a 2012 jeep grand Cherokee, I can’t connect my to Bluetooth and any tips or what should I do?
