I have a 2022 Jeep Renegade. Check Engine light came on this morning for P1CEA. Google says it EVAP. Seeing if anyone else has experience or advice for this. TIA
Hey all, I’ve been needing new All-Weather tires for my Jeep Renegade latitude. Figuring the best time to get them would be on Black Friday since they’re a pretty penny. Does anyone know the best place to go?
Also tire recs are welcome. My latitude is 2WD so it’s important to me that they do well with snow/rain as I live in Ohio.
Size currently on: 215/60R17
I was parallel parking at night and when I went to pull forward a bit I was too close to a tree and it cracked off the inner layer of my right side mirror.
I have a 2020 sport- and I can’t seem to find anything but the entire mirror when I’ve looked around. Is that my only option?
What exactly does this mean it indicates and how much would this fix cost me roughly?
Engine light is one and vehicle won’t accelerate past 3500rpm’s.
In the height of the supply chain crisis in ‘21 I realized I needed a car ( I had lived in the city for over 20 years but recently relocated to upstate NY ) I knew I wanted a Renegade, I loved them since they first came out, the wild colors they came in esp white they reminded of the stormtroopers from the new Star Wars. I wished I needed a car then but the subway served all my needs as it was door to door to work. Flash forward during the pandemic I moved upstate and tadah When I went to dealership they didn’t have much selection and because I had to have sunroof & better stereo I thought I was going to settle for a bikini blue Latitude ( not a great choice in a place that is grey and brown most of the year) but the day I came back they had just received a white trailhawk specd out exactly the way I was hoping, I was blown away. I love sport utes from Jimny’s to Purosangue’s :) and with the Renegade the clean balanced design is really appealing. I got into a little fender bender in a parking lot ( Kingston parking lots are sketchy ) my bumper got pushed in but went back into position by the time I got home, the guy who hit me wasn’t as lucky as my tow hitch wrecked the front of their car. My lease just ended and I’m buying it out at an incredible price. Gas mileage could be better but otherwise I love it!.
I’m looking at potentially getting a 2021 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk and I have a 3 year old. Will this vehicle be ok for both a car seat in the back and an adult in the front?
Hi friends! So I've had my Jeep Renegade for about 7 years and have had my windshield wiper blades replaced multiple times with no issue. I just got my brakes and shocks revamped back in May and asked them to put in new blades so everything would be set for rain and snow during the fall and winter season. I was on the road just now and my drivers side blade flew off suddenly- mind you, I haven't had to use my windshield wipers much until recently so they're basically like new. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue of their blades falling off while they are driving?? I've never had this happen before in all my years of owning this car so I'm wondering if it was faulty installment a few months ago or if there is something wrong with the Snap-On piece connected to the wiping mechanics?? (I'm not a car person so apologies if this is confusing... just looking to see if anyone else has had this issue or if it's just a me thing.) Thanks!
Felt that my Jeep Renegade 2019 has a very slow acceleration while driving home. Stopped to look at the motor and seems that the wastegate actuator is broken, and thats why the turbo is not working. Anyone had anything similar happen?
I replaced the throttle body and fuel pump in my 2015 Jeep Renegade back in July. Now this light and the check engine light are back on and I’m so frustrated. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?
Is it normal for a 2019 JR turbo to sound like a tractor at startup? The oil is full and the valve train sounds like a damn tractor. Starting to have huge buyers remorse with this thing
Looked in it briefly and it is tight. Going to be looking at installing a solar controller and possibly a harness for a wireless gang switch... may be wired not sure what is coming on that portion lol.
Loved the color, and came with some nice wheels.
Hello everyone. I just bought a 2021 Latitude a week ago. Today the lock/unlock buttons on the keyfob were dead. I got into the car with the key and then it started fine, but I don't want to startle my neighbors with the car alarm everytime I get in. Any suggestions? Do keyfobs have changeable batteries?
I found a 2021 with sunroof at 26,000 miles. Pretty pretty much excellent condition. $22,300 Is that too much? Are there anythings i should look out for when buying a renegade?
I just bought a 2020 jeep renegade. Sometimes when I drive at about 30 mph something gets louder. I read somewhere that it could be the rear differential not disconnecting and to try to turn off traction control. The next time I heard the noise I tried this an it immediately stopped.
I took my car to the nearest jeep dealership to get a recall fixed and asked them to look into the noise and explained about the traction control. They came back and said I had "choppy" tires and needed to replace all 4 tires. I did some more research and found d a post with a tsb that could fix the problem and I sent the dealership all that info and asked them to look into that. They came back and said there are no open tsb's for my car and they insist it is the tires. I am not replacing the tires. Any suggestions?
I really love this picture of my Reni on a Mercedes lot along with a sunset
For the last month my screen was going back and forth until the last 2 weeks it had permanently stayed like this. Bought this thing brand new and not happy about this. If I push the screen it still works like normal, just can’t see most of it. Anyone know a good replacement or alternative? I see so many options online and sizes, mostly 7 inch but I think it’s 8.3”? Thanks in advance and I would like to replace it myself, I’m pretty handy with a good YouTube video to help me do it. 🤙
Hi, I can’t seem to find a definitive answer on the torque settings for the C635 tranny flywheel torque. I’ve seen some WILDY different answers. Stemming from 11am lbs to 70ft lbs. does anyone have a quoted answer? I realllly don’t want to close her up until I know for sure
I want to give my Rene some silly blow off valve noises anyone have information on the turbo/blow off or is it a variable vane turbo?
So, long story short I am having the same engine cooling fan issue described in this customer satisfaction notice with my 17 Limited. The car is at the mechanic now and it looks like the repair is going to be around $650. The problem is my VIN wasn't flagged for the CSN, so Customer Care is refusing to even review my case. I've spent hours on hold and talked to about three different representatives (including a case manager), who insisted there was no way I could be reimbursed since my VIN wasn't part of the CSN. I've seen several threads/comments on here from people with the same issue saying they were still able to have their case reviewed and reimbursed despite their VIN not being flagged. I asked to have the case escalated to a supervisor, and am waiting for them to call me back. I reached out to a few of the people I saw with the same issue and haven't heard back yet (some of the threads were older), but was hoping that by making a post I might be able to find others who were successfully reimbursed despite their VIN not being flagged. I figure the more proof I can provide the better.
Hi! Looking for advice. I drive a 2018 Jeep renegade and just had my oil changed in May. When’s the best time to get it changed again? I get two free oil changes within the first year (due to my warranty) and wanted to know if it’s almost time to use it!
Second note: my parking light says it’s out, does anyone know if that’s an easy fix? Has anyone tried it before?
Just bout a 2020 Trailhawk at 29K miles and I've got the weirdest thing happening when I come to a complete stop.
Withing about 5mph or under, the car jerks a few times when stopping. Is this worth bringing up to carmax? I did biy a warrenty.
Happy new owner of a 17 jeep renegade sport. Happy to be here. And I will lead off this with a query, because I am not mechanically inclined.
What are the side effects of having old spark plugs? Mine is a 2.4l, and the owner manual mentions changing them every 100k miles, and that the distance is more important than the time. But I wouldn't even know what I'm looking at if I lifted the hood. Any sort of notable things I should look out for?
Sadly, it wasn't mentioned on the Carfax. Runs smooth, has room for me, and a very comfortable and good lookin car regardless. Previous owner went ~6 years not having any maintenance that would have been made available on the Carfax besides Walmart oil changes
Just picked up my first ever jeep 2020 renegade altitude today and Im super excited (pics to come lol). I was futzing around with the light control panel and testing all the dials. I have the headlights set to auto so I don’t have to worry about them and I noticed when I went to go inside the headlights were on after I turned my car off. After about a minute they eventually turned off but I was wondering if that’s a setting I can change to have them fully turn off when the car turns off?? My previous car was a 2005 CRV so I’m not used to all the new technology lol
