I'm using old reddit to mod on an android. When I attempt to report someone by clicking "report" it brings up a menu that now looks like new reddit, with a list of options for reporting. When I attempt to select one of the options, it does not highlight the option or select it. It also doesn't engage the option for "next" on the bottom. This really hinders modding.
i was checking my Reddit and i found that i have communities what i never joined and they had inappropriate stuff when I checked messenge history i saw many requests from user called r/welcomebot
Don't know if this post is even going to show up, but here it goes.
I've noticed that for the past week, whenever I go to make a post in the Android app, the app will act like the post was made but will also bring me back to the front page of the same subreddit I made the post on, and more often than not the post won't actually get made.
Now, sometimes the post will get made, but the majority of the time it won't.
When I try to see the users who follow me, in my profile, the link redirects me to the "page not found" thing, I've asked to a friend of mine and he said he could see the ppl who followed him and it was just working normal to him.
It's not a really important feature, but I really like to see what kind of stuff ppl who follow me post on reddit. ;-;
Every time I open the app, I am under a guest profile. I have to manually click on “log in” in order to get to my account.
I repost stuff to my community, and it's set to allow images and videos and stuff that's NSFW. But recently, every time I try to repost it suddenly says my own community doesn't allow the posts I've always been reposting.
Save search does not turn off.
I just created this new account and the Achievements section is noticeably missing. Is this some glitch or are they working on something? It’s not the end of the world or anything but some of my past accounts had Achievements and I was just curious as to why they’re not there, that’s all.
Thanks.
No outgoing messages load up, if I send a message to a user, it only creates the chat but doesnt send the message.

device Motorola Edge 50 pro
i tried reinstalling clearing cache and all things
but its not logging in to my account on the mobile phone
It was working before and now I am seeing communities that I have previously muted.
When I try to mute, it says something went wrong.
I mostly use Reddit for match threads of football games in the r/Scottishfootball subreddit.
Since a few days I can't sort comments by new any more. When selecting it, it still sorts by best.
Just the whole create section needs and overhaul, I wanted to edit a part of my post that was at the start, but was unable to move the cursor above what the screen displayed. If I tried to scroll out of the screen display, the cursor would snap straight to the bottom of the post.
I was able to scroll as read the text when the keyboard wasn’t active, but if I tried to select any text to edit it the cursor would again snap straight to the bottom. Just very frustrating!
Hello! This seems like it would have an easy fix but I cant figure it out. I have a chat that I accidentally accepted but then blocked. After I blocked it I recieved a notification of a new message but since its blocked I cant see it and I cant get rid of the notification. I also cant restart the chat bc I have no idea what the username was. Help?
How is it that the website address for my user accounts for both my Facebook page and my Substack page are not registering correctly? The pop-up says to check my spelling, but I am copy/pasting from my actual pages!
I've tried different formatting versions of the link, including matching the preloaded example in the window from the signup page. I've matched it exactly and tried multiple variations. What is the issue?
In the android version of the reddit app, Stop Reply Notifications on comments does not work and there is no option to stop reply notifications for an entire post, and the global settings to stop reply notifications in the account settings does not work at all.
Could you please fix those features on the android app? Thanks.
Something is wrong...
Recently visited tab shows the nsfw pages along with others. In the past, it only showed non-nsfw pages only. If I try to manually delete it from the list, it only shows non-nsfw pages so I can't remove them from that list
Description:
I am encountering a problem where my YouTube links are not embedding correctly in my content. Instead of showing a thumbnail preview, the links are displayed as plain text. This issue has persisted for three days straight and occurs both when posting to a community and on my own profile. I have experimented with different posts and can confirm that the problem exists in both scenarios, reducing the visual appeal and engagement of my posts and making it unclear to viewers that the link leads to a video.
Platform and Version:
Steps to Reproduce:
However, these links also did not work and still displayed as the link I posted without embedding.
By following these steps, I consistently encountered the issue of YouTube links not embedding correctly.
Expected and Actual Result:
Expected Result: I expected the YouTube links I posted to embed correctly, displaying a thumbnail preview and allowing viewers to see that the link leads to a video.
Actual Result: Instead, the links appeared as plain text without any thumbnail preview, which raises the question of what video the link is pointing to. This is a major issue, as it significantly reduces the likelihood of people clicking on the post link; without a thumbnail, viewers cannot quickly identify what the video is about. This problem has persisted for three days across different posts on both my profile and in community posts.
Screenshots:
Each link above directs you to two different Reddit posts of mine, each featuring a link to one of my YouTube Shorts. This highlights that the issue affects multiple shorts. Despite having embedding enabled in the settings of all my YouTube Shorts, the shorts only display a URL instead of embedding the video itself along with the URL.
How it should/and used to appear:
The linked post above illustrates how my Shorts used to appear on my profile when uploaded to the community I shared them with, as well as in the community posting section. Thanks for taking your time out to read this!
If a post uses an image album of 5 or more images, the 5th image onwards does not display, instead shows a broken image link.
To repro:
Description: The subdomain used to take the name of a subreddit and redirect you to that subreddit. So going to "politics.reddit.com" would forward you to "reddit.com/r/politics". This no longer works and will always redirect to your feed "reddit.com"
Device model: PC
OS version: Chrome Current
Steps to reproduce: Visit any subreddit using the name of the subreddit as the subdomain (eg: all.reddit.com, politics.reddit.com, news.reddit.com, pics.reddit.com).
Expected and actual result:
Screenshot(s) or a screen recording
As i try to do it, it says "Highlight konnte nicht aktualisiert werden" its german for "highlights couldn't be updated".
What could cause this problem? Yes the post i want to pin was posted in my profile and not a subreddit.
