i've been facing the issue for a while now. can we fix this? it's been around for a couple months.
This issue started after upgrading to iOS 18.0.1, worked fine on iOS 18
Reddit app v2024.42.0

New Post > Upload Image
Edit > Crop works ok
Filters > apply any filter > app crashes
Restarted phone, issue persists

For at least the past 2 years reddit’s custom feeds haven’t been working correctly, every time i sort by ‘top posts’ for whatever reason the feed will only display posts from the same 5 communities and the other 80 plus communities don’t show up. it’s incredibly inconvenient seeing how i only use this app every few weeks and want to sort by top posts this month. I’ve also recently switched from android to apple and was hoping the glitch wouldn’t follow over but unfortunately it has, i’ve also tried the desktop version of reddit and the custom feeds have the same reaction to every type of device. i’ve seen other people post about this glitch before yet it still hasn’t been addressed or fixed.
Description: going to someone's page to follow them, a pop up notification says failed to follow insert person here Device model: Samsung Galaxy A53 OS version: 6.1 Steps to reproduce: not sure Expected and actual result: not sure Screenshot(s) or a screen recording
There have been multiple posts about this issue over the past few years, and unfortunately it has still not been solved for anyone as far as I can tell. Current app version 2024.41.1
I have already looked at this post, this post, and this post.
I have turned off all notifications, both in the Android settings and inside the reddit app
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, etc
I have tried using different accounts
I have tried subscribing/unsubscribing to individual comments. (In this case, it's clear that the app "knows" I have reply notifications turned off, because the option I get with the "..." menu gives the option to subscribe, not unsubscribe, to the comment. This indicates the setting is correctly turned off because otherwise with notifications turned on, the default option is "don't get reply notifications").
Oddly enough, the only notifications that come through are comment reply notifications. I can successfully turn everything else off.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Sometimes when I comment on something and I get positive votes, I get a notification that someone voted in favor, but the vote doesn't appear in my comment karmas.
So, as the Titel says, I‘m using the Reddit App on an iPad 8th. Gen. and when I Switch Apps away from Reddit and back into Reddit the App automatically scroll back to the top of my Feed or Subreddit I‘m currently on. How do I fix this?
Hi pals. On my other account it’s saying I have no followers. Whenever I try to post on my profile it says ‘community doesn’t exist’ or something similar. Can’t reply to messages either. Any ideas? Thanks so much.
I have been leaving alot of subreddits today but one of them won't let me, when I leave it it will automatically rejoin me a couple seconds later, I have contacted the moderators of the subreddit but so far I have heard nothing back
Description: Change to dark mode button (and vice versa) not working or is delayed. Has been a problem for maybe a week now. Device model: Samsung galaxy s21 OS version: Android 13
r/retirement . We literally click and choose and SAVE - to allow images . Go back in, nope. Done this multiple times over different days. Please update as we want to do a post asking for photos!
Please update with acknowledgement that someone has seen this. Thanks! MAM
I was asked to reset my password and after I did I checked my saved posts and everything was gone. There was a lot that I saved, over years, I would like to be able to get them back.
with so many ads please put a colored border or something so I don't have to read every thing to see if it is an ad. I read less it is so tiring. Yep I get it need to make money but help us see them faster. thx!
As you can see in this video which includes touch input, when scrolling along reddit, any time I come across a reddit advert (doesn't happen with regular posts) that have multiple slides/images, the scrolling no longer works and I have to tap around it.
This has been going on for a couple of weeks now, at least. Is it a bug or something Reddit does to kind of force you to acknowledge the ad by interrupting you?
So, I got a bunch of upvotes but nothing happens???
All my history and saved disappeared how do i get them back?
Same problem as many. I keep seeing posts from days ago. Sometimes my entire home page is filled with 2-4 days old posts. Any help is appreciated.
Post with images are not posting (Android)
Since yesterday I do not succeed to post on the app when using an image Posts with text only are working correctly but when I post with an image no error is seen but my post is not at all published.
I already reinstalled the app several times, cleared cache, restarted, installed again but nothing is working.
Android: 14 Xiaomi Redmi note 12 pro 5g
Any suggestions? Using the desktop doesn't work for me since I want preview images.
Don't know what's wrong, can't send any PMs out.
I have already reinstalled the app and restarted my phone
Even in my own sub, what is going on!?
It’s been literal months and months since this was reported. The app continues to show new posts with low upvotes at the top of the feed. The top posts on my feed literally have 1 upvote.
What is the point of having separate “latest” and home tabs if they do the same thing? Will this EVER get fixed?
Need Help to figure out what the problem is. Redditors Help Me!
Im quite new on Reddit. I have problem with chat. Chat option doesnt work for me , the chat just not load. Im on Windows PC on Chrome browser. Can You help me ?
Whenever I try to access Private Messages “messages” thread, I get this error message:
“Our CDN was unable to reach our servers”
I’ve tried in old Reddit and new Reddit, with the same result.
Is there a way to resolve the issue?
So since yesterday Reddit keeps showing 20 new notifications. If I get a comment reply it goes to 21, lol.
I've already tried reinstalling the app, but it didn't work. Has anyone solved this issue?
