r/Stiiizy needs 1-2 new moderators

r/Stiiizy is a subreddit dedicated to discussion of cannabis products by Stiiizy. For that reason I'm marking this request as for NSFW mods.

There are only two active moderators at present, each with increasing time constraints, and someone with a bit of free time is needed to keep an eye on things. There's not so many new posts per day or week, and the sub currently set up to require manual approval for each new post.

The big concern is enforcing the Reddit rule against buying/selling/sourcing cannabis, as violations could cause the sub itself to be sanctioned.

I hope I've not left anything out.

r/ROGAlly is looking for 1-2 active moderators

r/ROGAlly is a subreddit for the Asus ROG Ally and has almost 80k members. Activity is high due to the pending release of the ROG Ally X handheld, an upgraded model to the one currently available, and the need for additional moderators is upon us. We are looking for assistance with moderating the sub by enforcing the rules and helping users with basic PC support questions, which encompass a lot of the posts on our sub.

If you are interested and meet the base requirements please draft a message answering the questions and send it to us through modmail. The application will be open for at least two weeks.

Requirements

  • As stated in the title we are looking for users that can actively moderate the sub
  • You should agree to enforce the rules as they are presently.
  • You must have a discord account, as our modteam uses a server to communicate.
  • While owning an ROG Ally is not a requirement, a basic knowledge of troubleshooting gaming PCs and the Windows OS is preferred.

Application Questions

  1. Why do you want to be a mod for r/ROGAlly
  2. Describe your experience as a reddit mod.
  3. Describe any other experience you have running another online space (facebook page or group, discord server, fan forum, etc).
  4. Do you have any particular skills that could be helpful?
  5. What is your timezone and how much time could you devote to moderating?
  6. What is your age?
  7. Are you an active user on r/ROGAlly
  8. What do you think of the subreddit as it is currently? Do you have any suggestions for changes or other new ideas?
  9. If selected, is there any post history from your account that we should be made aware of that may impact how others react to your being brought on board as a mod?
  10. Feel free to list anything else you think is relevant.

r/TheAcolyte is seeking to add active Moderators to the team!

Hi all,

r/TheAcolyte is seeking to add 1-2 active Moderators to the team.

For anyone interested, we are seeking folks who will be active in the sub and have moderation experience. Unfortunately, the discourse around this series is strong and we are doing our best to keep the sub as civil as possible, but a little extra help will make it even easier.

We are specifically seeking Mods who are familiar and comfortable with addressing user reports and the Mod Queue, responding to ModMail appropriately. Our Design needs, at least, are totally covered at this time.

If you are interested, please just fill out this form (no personal data or info will be needed or collected).

r/anya_zendaya/

Come help out at r/anya_zendaya! It was where I first became a mod and found a nice community of helpful people that taught me that you can be a kind and reasonable human being and a mod at the same time. Crazy idea, but it is true, we do things differently at RTN and we'd love to spread the word that users and mods can work together.

r/newslettermanagers needs growth-focused mods

Hello everyone,

r/newslettermanagers is a growing sub about growing newsletters

After solely running this for the last couple of months, I recognise my limitations in growing engagement and I need some help.

For interested mods, this is a perfect opportunity to have "grew a subreddit from 130 users to [insert ridiculous number here] users"

The ideal mod will:

  • Enforce and evolve subreddit rules to keep discussions remain respectful and supportive.
  • Engage with the community through comments and posts
  • Cross-pollinate with other related subs to grow user base

If you are interested, please DM me

r/stayathomemoms needs one additional mod

Hello Everyone! I am looking for one mod to join me on r/stayathomemoms . It's a sub of 10.8k users who has had steady growth over the past few months. It's a pretty easy going sub, nothing much in the way of drama or big issues. The users are a dream to work with and I pride myself on keeping the sub drama and spam free. I am currently the only mod. Here is what I am looking for in a new mod:

  • Someone who is like minded in moderation style. I like to let conversations happen, as long as everyone is being civil and not breaking sub rules or the Reddit Content Policy, no mod actions are taken. I want this sub to be a safe space for mothers to find support, answers, to vent, or discuss whatever is on their mind.
  • There are two common mod "issues" we have and one is from spammers posting their "Work from home scams" or their "Get rick quick schemes" and the second is from users who are looking for part time or online work to earn extra income. I have a fairly robust automod in place that catches a majority of these types of posts before they hit the sub, but one or two slip by.
  • Mod experience isn't necessary, and this might be a good sub for a new mod to start with since it is slower in nature compared to larger subs. And I will gladly show you anyrthing you want to learn along the way. The sub really needs a second mod in place to help ensure everything continues to run smoothly.
  • I would prefer the mod to be a female since the sub is for moms only.

Happy to answer any questions!

Hi, so I started this subreddit because there was no information about this game out there really but it's grown a lot on discord. So I feel like I should step up the subreddit but not too sure how to do that looking for someone with a bit of experience to help me out and show me what I need to work on. I'm also only able to use mobile :(

r/TheLastAirbender is the main subbreddit for Nickelodeon's Avatar franchise (encompassing both Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, as well as the live-action Netflix show, future animated projects, and anything else Avatar). The sub continues to grow and we expect even more growth and more activity as we get closer to the new Avatar Studios animated projects. If you are interested and meet the base requirements please draft a message answering the questions and send it to us through modmail. The application will be open for at least two weeks.

  • You should agree to enforce the rules as they are presently.
  • You must have a discord account, as our modteam uses a server to communicate.
  • You have to be an avatar fan! We don't require you read every comic and won't quiz you on production trivia, but you need some familiarity with the franchise.

Application Questions

  1. Why do you want to be a mod on r/TheLastAirbender
  2. Describe your experience as a reddit mod.
  3. Describe any other experience you have running another online space (facebook page or group, discord server, fan forum, etc).
  4. Do you have any particular skills that could be helpful?

Apologies in advance if we can't bring on every candidate, but we are looking for at least 1 and perhaps several more moderators.

r/1998TeenMovie is looking for a moderator or two with an eye toward running it.

r/1998TeenMovie has been restricted for being unmoderated for at least three months. I recovered it yesterday thinking it was a different sub or I've been using it wrong all this time which is possible. So now I've got a sub that doesn't quite fit our network and I'm not quite sure of its purpose but I'd like to restore it and make it useful but I'm stretched very thin IRL. So I need someone interested in captaining the ship while maintaining the spirit of RTN which basically means being nice and informative to the members. If you're interested hit me up on chat or if you have to DM.

r/OpenChristian Looking For New Mods

Hey everyone!

r/OpenChristian is looking for additional mods to meet the increase in traffic. This sub is growing in both subscribers and daily traffic, and now’s a good opportunity to find some users who thinks they could help out. Most notably to ensure more reactivity in the treatment of the ever-flowing reports and the spotting of unreported infringing comments.

What we require from applicants:

  • Some sort of demonstrable track record of consistent Reddit usage

  • Progressivism, and a lack of bigotry or reactionary politics

  • The ability to mod impartially

  • No subreddit collectors!

What we DO NOT require:

  • Experience modding

  • Being a Christian yourself

Fair warning that we get a lot of anti-lgbt trolls and you will have to be very liberal with the ban-hammer. If that sounds fun to you, then please send us a modmail containing a short application with a little about you, your background, what time zone you are in, and why you'd like to mod.

If you need help, consider using this (entirely optional) general outline for your application:

  • A bit about your background. Talk about your faith (or lack thereof), your journey to get where you are now, and perhaps anything else interesting that you think we ought to know about you.

  • Some basics on what we can expect from you as a moderator. Any relevant prior experience with moderation, what timezone you’re in, and about how many hours a day/week you anticipate being able put in for mod work.

  • A brief explanation of what the subreddit rules, purpose, and scope mean to you, as well as why you’re interested in moderating for this community.

  • Your understanding of the r/Lexus rules, especially rules 3, 7, 10, 11, & 12.

r/Pain looking for more mods

Hello everyone,

As we will continue the grow and revitalize , I'm excited to announce we are looking for dedicated moderators to join the team. Whether you've been here before as part of the community (in it's previous forms) or you recently discovered the community, this is your chance to help shape the future of this community.

Who are we looking for?

We need proactive individuals who are passionate about creating a supportive environment for discussing all aspects of pain, physical, emotional, and psychological. Ideal candidates should be empathetic and responsible, and have a good understanding of the community rules and the topic of pain. Previous moderating experience is not required but is certainly a plus.

Your role:

As a moderator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Enforcing subreddit rules to ensure discussions remain respectful and supportive.
  • Engaging with the community through comments and posts (would like all mods to do, but not required).
  • Organizing and managing community evens or discussions, if they happen in the future.
  • Helping to resolve conflicts and managing reports of rule violations.

How to apply:

If you are interesting in applying, please fill out our moderation application form here. The form includes a few questions about experience, availability and your ideas for the sub.

Deadline?

There is no real deadline, I will be onboarding mods continuously, as this community will likely continue to grow. Pain is a common thing among everyone, I foresee the community needing more mods continually as we go along.

I look forward to reading everyone's applications and hope we can add quite a few new mods to the team.

r/Hauppauge looking for some additional moderators.

r/Hauppauge is a pretty small subreddit with less than 300 members. I do expect this number to grow in the coming months. But when I took over the subreddit, it has been restricted for 2 years and the only mod left not having been active in about 10 years. I want a moderator who can help me manage the subreddit as it grows in size and I want to make some quality of life improvements which I may be unable to do alone. I also want to update some misinformation in the sidebar and basically, I want some mods who will help me do the tasks so I don't get burned out

The requirements are below

  • 500 karma.

  • Reddit account must be over a year old.
  • Prior mod experience (you will be asked to prove it)
  • Must be willing to be active (not like every day but atleast do something every month or something)
  • Lastly, be willing to interact with the community

The form to submit a request is https://forms.gle/pvuEmiLJsK25Vqag6

Good luck!
