I've been on Reddit for nearly 10 years, and at one point helped moderate a 50k subreddit.
I'd like to say that I am well spoken and I'm skilled with being diplomatic and fair/down the middle.
If you're looking for someone to help ensure that the rules are being followed fairly and discussions are civil, I can be useful.
As I do work, I'm not available 24/7, but I'm still fairly active.
NOT Interested in moderating any porn/exclusively NSFW subreddit. If the sub has NSFW posts from time to time, sure. Otherwise, no thank you.
DM me if you think I'd be of some help.

The r/realitytv seriously needs at least one mod not just enforcing rules but also either changing and/or developing them. Also, as I modded the sub for months, I then realized that the quality of the sub is more important than just trying to make the sub welcoming and active. Also, one or more mods are needed to help us existing mods come together and form a group of better mods.
Our sub, r/australian, was created to provide a place where users can discuss, news, politics and Australian culture, but over the past year it was hijacked by an element of racism. Those moderators have now either been removed, or have chosen to leave.
We are looking for experienced, Australian-based moderators to help get it back on track. We no longer tolerate racism, anti-immigration, hate speech or personal attacks. We are looking for moderators who can demonstrate through their post history that they can subscribe to our values.
We have written new charters for sub rules, a ban policy, a moderation guide, and directions and values. These have been posted on our Discord, and have proven effective in increasing new subscribers and attracting more traffic.
The tone of the sub is now much calmer, but we need 3-4 new mods to help with the increase in activity. This will involve a short interview process to see if you are a good fit.

Looking for a moderator that is relatively knowledgeable about liminal spaces or has an interest in it. Any experience levels are welcome, and I can help train you on moderating if needed :)
We usually communicate on a private Discord server for the subreddit moderators, and you will be invited upon approval. When invited to the subreddit mod team, we will start you off with limited permissions and once we see you have activity, we will update your permissions to all.
Linked below, this is the application to fill out and I will contact you on Discord if our team approves. If you prefer, you can send a ModMail to r/liminalspaces and answer the questions there.
r/liminalspaces Moderator Application is now open! : r/liminalspaces (reddit.com)
Thank you for anybody interested!
We are a sub reddit, r/undisputedboxing, for the just released boxing game 'Undisputed' and are getting swamped a little.
The game has just left early access and moved into pre-order pre access on Tuesday, ahead of full launch tomorrow.
We have 18k+ members and growing quickly. In the past 7 days we have gone from 3k unique engagements to over 18k and with full launch around the corner anticipate this spiking even further.
Our mod queues and amount of daily posts are hard to maintain currently, and I am personally needing to spend an incredible amount of time with daily management.
There is a need for some gardening work, where we would appreciate an outside perspective as contrasting opinions are making a large imprint on the sub currently. We have a desire and some plans to help activate and engage the community through the future but right now need assistance in steadying the ship with passionate mods.
I would expect this to be more suitable for someone with an open and rational perspective, who comes with some experience in community management and obviously an enjoyment of boxing and video games would also be a huge plus.
Salutations & Good Day!
r/Queens is looking to bring on about 3 new mods to handle various aspects of the subreddit to enhance it further. It has been a solo effort for quite sometime and it can get overwhelming when "Mods are asleep". I'm looking for experienced mods as we are a subreddit with 55k+ Members and in the top 3% of reddit.
We represent the borough of Queens NY in NYC, ideally would be great to have more people from NYC but I know things are never perfect. Being a neighborhood sub we only have 10 rules that I think so far covers everything to keep it going, when I came aboard it was only around 30k or so but riddled with spam and new account spam like the wild west. I do like the direction we have grown but seeking help to bring it even further than what it is.
I've dabbled in automod here and there but it's still confusing so if anyone has experience in this area would be great. I'm looking for 3 or so to bring in and help keep it running like a well-oiled machine.
I think it should be fine for a bit with these additions. Please be an active reddit user and have familiarity with modding a large community.
Edit 3: All Positions have been offered. Mods had to have a long history of working with bigger subreddits, new accounts less than 5 years were not accepted.
Currently r/FutureCities has a mod I think left recently and 400 members who practically never contribute. I have tried sending out some interesting discussion-provoking content and other community notices but it doesn't seem to work. I need a person who is actually interested in the future of cities and is able to send out frequent and interesting content like I do now and also spruce up the sub so more people are encouraged to contribute.
Leave a comment below if you want a position, stating why you want it and some of your existing skills.
Hey everyone, I'm Rib. Lead Mod for r/MyTEAM & r/NBA2K. As of right now, r/MyTEAM has inactive moderators, but the subreddit continues to grow and has a very healthy, active community. We're looking for at least two new moderators to help out strictly with spam, manually confirming good posts and reporting severe rule breaking posts.
In short, all you're doing is spamming spam posts, confirming good posts that need manual approval and reporting rule breaking posts.
We have moderator channels in our Discord for communication, so if you get accepted and you're unsure about something, you can ask us anything in there.
If you have any questions let me know here. Thanks!
The sub gets no modmail or anything–perfect for someone new to moderating. Link: r/paintedcats
It was based on that TikTok trend a few years ago where people would rate or just dog on medieval paintings and sketches of cats. It's also open to artists to share their own drawings of cats. There's a wiki that explains how the ratings work.
I had brought on a mod a while ago who was doing phenomenal, but after I promoted them to top mod they seemingly disappeared. Very unfortunate. So now it need some mods who can make posts to the sub and go around promoting it under posts—not in a predatory way. Just leaving comments under oc artwork of cats or posts of poorly painted cats from history and recommend posting to u/paintedcats. Edit: And obviously other moderation crap too. Didn't think that also needed to be described since it's a given you'd have to moderate posts and do modmail.
Its not a strict sub and I am completely open to any ideas or changes within reason.
I have moderation experience on Discord with a medium sized server, I would like to deal with reports and the comments mostly and I can be active basically anytime after 1:25 est
Nothing weird tho, like lighthearted and non-serious kinda subs (No Nsfw)
Hello all I recently acquired the subreddit r/gtacarmeet from inactive mods and I'd like to make the sub grow. Experience not required but it is helpful and I'd like to have my mods still playing gta v on last and current gens. My goal is to have gtacarmeet be the go to place for new meets on GTA V and GTA VI.
Looking for mods who would have an interest in that sub.
First thing is that, we are looking someone to create an 'am i balding' megathread, and redirect/remove posts that have their own whole post for that. The 'am i balding' posts take up a majority of the volume and drown out other productive discussions. Those posts can also be redirected to specific subreddits such as 'AmIBalding'
If you also have additional ideas, we are open
/r/HairLoss
I am looking for some active mods for r/Plex_Share
I originally created this subreddit due to another similar one going private, and wanted to offer a public community available to everyone. However I have never moderated a subreddit before and am not as active as I used to be on Reddit either, so the community could definitely use some active mods and most likely needs to be properly setup.
If you are familiar with Plex, P4S, and have experience being a mod, please reach out!
Thank you!
