I am new to reddit and commented on r/microsoft which appears to be good in my end. It really had no response. It was sus. So, I looked the post from another computer without logging in. All comments where there except mine.

When I looked further I found out reddit could shadow ban when the spam or bot filters get triggered. I am now trying to understand is it something with microsoft sub alone or across all over reddit for me?

There was some reddit ban appeal form but it clear says I am not banned. I first of all don't even understand what is happening and secondly I am looking for a solution. Any suggestions please?

So I’m a classic lurker, I go around, like good posts, look for questions that are similar to what I have, laugh at and upvote the good ones. It’s been a year and I have finally mustered up the courage to ask a question but my lack of karma is getting to me now 😖 help me out! Please tell me an easy and fast way of earning karma.

It says I have 0 bananas I want to know what they are/what the concept of them is.

As mentioned in the title, I’m a very shy person and get nervous on commenting. The only reason I’m doing this one cause genuinely curious. How would I go around getting karma? Would I just need to build up the courage to go talk to some people by creating posts?? I’ve been commenting on some posts but I know it’s not going to be seen so it helps out knowing that.

I've had this account for years but haven't started using it until recently. I originally thought Karma and awards are like "cool points" but I recently learned karama has some purpose. But what about awards? Do they actually do anything? Is there a limit when giving them out? Does receiving them kind of work like karama does?

I feel a little lame because Reddit is pretty straightforward but I've never really gotten into until lately and I keep worrying I'm missing out on some etiquite things here lol. Any other basic unspoken "rules" to be aware of would be helpful too!

Some subs message entry box have an icon near the bottom that I assume allows one to post a picture. When I click on it nothing happens. What are the general rules regarding posting pics?
