Forgive me of this has been asked already. But why do I have this annoying black shade of a bar at the top of a lot of apps on my pixel 9 pro? Why not just make it clear?
My google calendar is missing all of my non-reoccurring calendar items.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Hey, we were playing around with and we asked in russain Google in "how to say horse in german" and got this as an answer:
Is Google trolling russain speaking people? ๐
Hi, I have Google Drive installed on my MacBook. I understand it doesn't take up space on my hard disk unless and until I click to open a file, in which case the "cloud with downward arrow" sign disappears from that file and it is "synced" to my hard drive. Is this a one-way street? That is, can I "unsync" that file, so that it frees up space on my hard disk? Crucially, I want that file to still be visible when I browse my Google Drive via Finder (i.e. the file should have the "cloud with downward arrow" sign). Thanks a lot!
Instead of asking,โwhat was the best phone of 2024?โ Just say,โbest phone 2024.โ 2. Use Hyphens: Do you want art pieces instead of art history? Search: โart -history.โ With that, Google wonโt provide art history. Just art pieces. I donโt know anymore.

Recently, we at /r/Google have noticed a large number of support questions being asked. For a long time, weโve removed these posts and directed the users to other subreddits, like /r/techsupport. However, we feel that users should be able to ask their Google-related questions here. These monthly threads serve as a hub for all of the support you need, as well as discussion about any Google products.
Please note! Top level comments must be related to the topics discussed above. Any comments made off-topic will be removed at the discretion of the Moderator team.
Discord Server We have made a Discord Server for more in-depth discussions relating to Google and for quicker response to tech support questions.
Hoping someone might be able to provide some insight on what has been (very annoyingly) happening more and more lately with Google Drive links. I'm a photographer, and have always delivered photo galleries via google drive link. Lately, SOME clients (and in some cases even myself) have run into this issue. We have not changed photo gear, nor have we changed file types, etc. This is supposed to be a link to a drive folder that contains several different photos. However, this error has been appearing for only some clients, and there is no way to get to the folder to see all of the photos.
The only thing that has (sometimes) worked is deleting the folder, uploading the photos again into a new folder to generate a new link, and the new link works. No other changes (in permissions, files, etc). I dont understand why this is happening but google drive photo delivery is becoming extremely unreliable..
Got banned for "being under 13" needing to show proof of being over 13 with an ID, passport, or driver's license. I have none of those, but am above the age of 13. i don't like google anymore :(
i never noticed when you open the google widget (at least on iphone) and tap the google title it becomes 4 dots that perform a short animation. mildly entertaining and ultimately useless but thought id share anyway
If it gives you a shoe that's the same brand but nothing like the model number you asked for. I guess it thinks you've it's helped you out somehow. If this is the future of AI, I guess we're all screwed.
I know many people can relate to me, having that craving for perfection. Recently I started paying for few apps, including todoist and ynab, and hopefully gemini advanced soon. I really crave for that perfection especially in my digital world. I hate apple but at the same time admire it for giving its users the feeling of that "perfection". Am I confusing it for quality. Apple users definitely pay a premium at different levels, from paying more for iphone to paying more for uber, but I think most apple users get that feeling of completeness and perfection in the ecosystem, which is why they stick to it and which is what steve jobs envisioned. Does anyone miss it? I'm a pixel lover and I miss it. I mean I love a lot of Google, but you know simple things like a note taking where google keep is not just enough but apple notes is. Am I the only one who really feels like they want to stay wit Google but feels inadequate? Help me with your honest perspectives
EDIT: So, I just found in my Activity tab that the routine seems to have started when it thought I returned home from somewhere (though I don't really understand that because I was just sitting here working) . The routine is called "Home Routine" though, (at least according to the activity tab) and none of us seem to have a routine called that on our devices...
This seems to have started a few days ago after I removed the device (for those unfamiliar, it works basically the same as a Nest Hub) and re-added it to my home. I'm not seeing any automations set that would trigger this, and nobody else in my family seems to know what's causing it either...
is there any way to remove a routine without knowing where its coming from? It turns the volume all the way up and blasts it throughout the house and I don't like it. lol
