I'm looking for a app that lets you record on a schedule time.

I'm trying to make a video where I wake up at a certain time (like a challenge)

Say I want to wake up at 6AM

I want to show this in the video

You go on the app and you put the time 6:00 Am AM and then you set your phone up a

And it will start to record automatically at 6.

I don't wanna wake up, grab my camera and just record cuz. Most certainly, I wouldn't do that

(id fall back to sleep)

But if I had an app that what automatically, start recording at that time.

That will certainly work

Now, maybe i'm thinking too far ahead, but I really think it'll make sense for the there'd be some type of app that would let you schedule a time.

I’d like to know what you guys find challenging to get content out there on a regular basis

The whole day while watching videos on a tv or phone, I’ve been getting a foreign video recommended to me at least once every time. It is nothing related to what I watch at all. I want to see if anyone is experiencing something similar.

YouTube need to deactivate the comments section on all videos. It's full of bots and bought comments promoting conspiracies and creating mistrust in people. It seems that a lot of people are very vulnerable to believing things they read in comments and lack any critical thinking skills. It's undermining our societies, western democracy and feeding into the agenda of Russia and China et al.

You have noticed like me that the thumbnails on the app are no longer viewable in full so that we have to click on it to be able to watch everything. the videos do not exceed 1min I believe.

When I first open youtube/On the homepage, I can open the videos in a new tab like normal. But then when I click on a video, scroll down, and find a different video I want to watch after, the feature is gone! And my only options are 'save to watch later' or 'add to queue', and I don't want to do either of those. If it helps, I'm using a chromebook.

Is it normal that I got debited for the free test YouTube prenium 1 months. Am I gonna get refunded ??

As some of you might know, I contacted YouTube support a few days back regarding seeing ADs even after having YouTube Premium and they outright responded with, in simple words, "Yes, that will happen".

My question, as I am no lawyer, is that can I file a lawsuit against YouTube with this?

A lot of channels have “infinite growth” because of a combination of bot subscriptions and viewership that has no expiration date. An example is something like Mr. Beast who has 330mil subscriptions, but average viewership is around 100-125mil which is a third of his subscribers.

Or Linus Tech Tips who has 16mil subscriptions but averages 1 million views. 1/16th of his subscribers.

There should be a more accurate system for true subscriptions. I feel 30 days would be too short because some content creators put out long form media, but I believe 90 days feels accurate.

If a subscriber hasn’t consumed that persons content in 90 days (bot or real human) that subscription should expire.

This way the actual active subscriptions and subscriber count is reflected more accurately.

So when I was around 16/17 years old I made a YouTube channel where I would edit videos about a passion I had and still very much have to this day I’ve had a couple of videos be successful and one even hitting 1,5 million vieuws and that was insane to 17 year old me although I never thought about a making YouTube a career or making a living out of it I just did it because I enjoyed doing it I remember when people used to comment on my videos and I would have cool conversations about the videos building like a community I felt well how do u say it with my people. anyway when I was 3 months in I used to spend a lot of time on my computer editing etc and my parents told me to quit it and that I was wasting time so fast forward a bit I finished economics at 18 and went into construction right when I was done with school…. Yeah I know what a switch my parents told me it was a secure future so I trusted them I can’t say they were wrong but I hate my job everyday more and more now it’s been a few weeks that I’ve been thinking about 16 year old me and the fun I had in what I was doing and me now realising I could make a living out of what I like to do sounds like a dream come true. Fast forward 6 years now i don’t have access to the account I’m pretty sure on what gmail i used but when I try to log in it won’t let me I know my old password still but when I type it in it will put me into a verification code mode on a old number from 6 years ago… I don’t have access to that number anymore and I didnt put a recovery email on it so when I click try a different way it says it doesn’t have enough information about me and just says to try again later it’s been like this for weeks but there is no where to come in contact with YouTube support or Google support ?!? If so I could show proof of identity I have my passport that will be the same name as I registered on YouTube with and I even still live on the same address as I put in 6 years ago I mean I could show the proof but there is no where to reach out to :/ Do u guys have any other solutions?

Like in twitter/X where there are notes that help people know if something is true or not

First time I've seen this, I was ok with getting ads every few shorts as I can just skip it but now they're on actual content...

I'd rather just skip the whole short Vs pressing the x to get rid of it.

This was the only platform I watch short form content on as it's not pure brain rot, might just pull the plug at this point, can only go further downhill.

I wanted to test out the more extended shorts feature, but it still shows up as a regular video over a minute long. Does this not work yet? If not, it's going to be a pain to go back and re-edit the video to be under 60 seconds long again.
