Hi :) I installed projectivity launcher enable accessibility service and replace launcher but for some reason I can't accept Bluetooth pair request unless I disable accessibility service on projectivity launcher pair my device and enable it again, is that normal? My tv is Hisense A6 50inch Google tv 12 is there any other launcher without that problem?
I have Google everything in my house, and it surprises me that even with the latest Google streamer, when the doorbell rings there's no way to have a PIP popup showing you who is at the door. Instead I have to open my phone, open the Google home app, click the camera and then finally see it. It's a feature they can definitely make happen. Why isn't it a thing. Am I ignorant to something that's preventing this feature from being reality?
Hey,
I'm looking at buying myself a new TCL805K TV which OS is Google TV. I've seen quite a few reviews stating that it's basically not got any UK catch up apps, like iPlayer/ channel 4.
Is this true? I like the idea of Google TV but I know my partner won't appreciate it if half the apps she uses aren't even on the TV.
What apps are available in the UK? I know it's not got live TV here but we're fine without that
Just got a high sense Google tv. Is there a way to sign out of YouTube. Not an option the usual way.
I have my tv connected to a speaker and every time i power off the tv it disconnects from the speaker and i have to set it up again when i want to use the tv again.
Is there a way to keep the bluetooth on with the screen off or on standby?
Hi. For reason I do not understand the youtube navigation app on my Bravia seems to have changed my subscription list from alphabetical to "most relevant". I don't know why this happened and I cannot for the life of me find a way to switch it back. Can anyone here help me navigate to the right menu options? I've tried adjusting the settings on my desktop but that has not affected the list on the youtube app. Apologies ahead of time if this is not the correct forum- trying to find the specific subreddit that deals with this sort of issue has been a challenge unto itself
Hello, I’ve some troubles with my new TV, randomly when I’m watching my TV (I have an Apple TV so I don’t use the smart TV) my TV is loading Google TV but it bug and the loading relaunch and I can’t do anything, the only thing I can do is to unplug the TV and after this it’s good but sometimes the bug respawn, if I can I will take a video but I would like to know if someone has the same issues
I bought Deadpool and wolverine on bluray and got a digital copy. I added it to my movies and wanted to share it with my dad, but all the settings to do so disappeared, anyone knows what happened and how to solve it?
Edit: even movies that already are in the library have lost the settings
We might be switching from a Roku TV to Google TV, and one of the most important things to us is the free channels. We love having the transformers or power rangers channels on during the day (the channels just play one franchise 24/7). Are those available on Google TV? Are similar channels available, where you can just stream one franchise's show 24/7?
i'm sure, there must be a Screen resolution DPI that must work. but do not know how!!!
Thanks!!!
New 65" S5 with Google TV. All other apps have installed and logged in without issue, including Hulu (which is owned by D+ I think).
D+ opens, takes me to the log in screen, I can enter my email and it'll proceed, but then never proceeds past the screen after I enter password/6 digit code/"proceed from another device on the network". It just keeps processing with the little dots like it's trying to read the password.
I've tried deleting and reinstalling with no luck. I've tried logging in with all 3 different methods with no luck.
Any advice?

I have a Sony TV that uses Google TV. I also have YouTube TV as my main source of local broadcasts.
Occasionally, my wife will want to watch a movie and Google TV will have it to rent or purchase. When my wife chooses that then it asks for my Google password. I have a complicated password because it is tied to my email and other things.
Is there a way to not require a password for purchases? I thought I had turned that off previously, but it still continues to ask for a password.
I cant change my resolution and the screen look terrible
So I tried pairing my Google TV Streamer with two Google Home accounts. In the process of testing I removed the Streamer from my main Google Accounts Home and now it's connected to now Google Home and I can't figure out how to reconnect it in Home App without a factory reset. Is there any way to just force the Streamer to go back into pairing mode for Google Home?
I haven't tried it yet but the painful way around it may be to set up YouTube with all the accounts before disabling the Google TV launcher
I've bought a Sony TV (BRAVIA XR A95L) in France. I'm surprised that I cannot add a Google Kid account:
https://blog.google/products/google-tv/kidsprofile-features/
This feature has been developed by Google for already 2 years.
If the TV uses a Google adult account, my children can installed any free apps from Google Play and use them as they want.
Does anyone have feedback related to this?
PS: The link above is a Google article. At the end of the article, if you click to the Sony link, it shows a list of TVs. There is my model (BRAVIA XR A95L) in this list but I cannot add a Google Kid account, even 2 years later...
Hi.
I have an Onkyo AV receiver that my Google TV streamer is plugged into, and the receiver is plugged into a Samsung TV.
The remote is setup and can theoretically power off both devices, but I only get the choice of ONE device to power off with the power button.
Is there a trick to turn on/off all devices with the power button?
Thanks!
Turned on my tv this morning and it says I’m signed out, went to log into my account and have been stuck on this screen for an hour. Tried unplugging, resetting password, everything. Please help
Really confused about this... I can get my receiver to say Dolby Digital, but it's not giving me 5.1, only 2.0. However, it's very inconsistent between apps:
YTTV: DD5.1
Disney+: DD2.0
Netflix: DD2.0
Max: DD5.1
Hulu: DD2.0
Prime: DD5.1
Peacock: DD5.1
Any reason I'm not getting proper sound for Disney+ and Netflix? Hulu I think is always 2.0, correct me if I'm wrong.
This just popped up on my TV, guessing somehow the dates got mixed up - I did try clicking it but it just comes back with "Loading error"
What's up guys. My live TV tab will not let me scroll down or click down to watch any of the channels. Any help? I've already factory reset it once and no luck.
I just received my Google tv streamer and I'm having an issue with my playback. Every 10 seconds or so the picture will stutter. It's happening consistently on multiple apps. The streamer is hardwired to my router. I'm getting 300 up and down. There aren't any other devices drawing any Internet resources.
I've replaced the Ethernet cable, replaced the HDMI cable, tried other inputs, I've restarted the router, reinstalled the apps, restarted the streamer and tried it on wifi. It still has the stutter. TV for reference is a Samsung s90c, I have post image processing off. Any suggestions before I return it? I don't have issues with these apps on other devices, PS5 and the Samsung's tvs apps.
Update: I have decided to return it. Don't want to go over the return policy hoping an update fixes it. Sucks I'm stuck going with apple TV now.
Hi everyone, Google TV Streamer 4K owner here.
I'm having issues with Disney+, as I can only play Disney+ titles after opening the app. They don't show up on the Streamer homepage (Netflix and Max titles work fine, I can see them in the "Continue watching" section) or in search results. Hope this makes sense.
Has anyone encountered the same issue? Any idea if this can be fixed? Thanks!
I'm trying out my first Google TV, a TCL 55C61BX1. Overall I like it quite a lot but some of the apps suffer from serious audio lag, like maybe 100-200ms. Unfortunately these are the apps I most want to use, specifically my Synology DS Video app and a couple of live sports watching apps.
I'm just just using the built in speakers. I've gone through all the settings and turned off audio processing and reduced the audio delay to -50 and I've mostly convinced myself this problem can't be solved on this TV. The audio delay setting doesn't seem to change anything.
I've searched around and read a few reddit threads, and this seems to be a common problem with Google TVs. My understanding is that it comes from audio transcoding, which makes me wonder, perhaps TVs that don't require transcoding don't suffer this problem.
I'm able to exchange my TV and upgrade to a different one. My question is, has anyone else who has been through this issue with Google TVs found a TV brand/model with excellent audio sync capability, and/or excellent delay time adjustment that will allow me to correct the problems if they arise?
EDIT - SIDE QUESTION - will/should this problem go away if I use an optical audio out, thus eliminating transcoding? I could try that.
LATE EDIT: no, it doesn't help
I use an app called Quick Clock on my old Hisense Android TV. It shows the time on my screen while the TV is on. I also could open chrome to surf and and install other apps. Can Google TV truly use apps, or are "apps" just video streaming portals? My Hisense Android TV is dying and I was thinking about getting a Hisense Google TV. Thanks!
Was holding off but I guess I shouldn't have 😞
