Fortnite Mobile not recognizing the L2 and R2 buttons

I recently bought a stadia controller second-hand and tested it with Minecraft, and it works perfectly. I tested it with Fortnite mobile and everything works except the trigger buttons for shooting and aiming.

Do I need to remap the controller so that it's recognized by Fortnite or am I doing something wrong?

Any help is appreciated!

Working with nintendo switch and 8bitdo

I was close to buying the pro controller, but went this route to save some money and keep my stadia alive.

  • Updated the 8bitdo 2 firmware to v1.07 (beta no longer needed)
  • Unlocked bluetooth mode on the controller through the stadia website
  • Activated the wired pro controller USB option under the controller section in the Switch settings
  • Connected the adapter to the switch dock usb port
  • Pressed the pairing button on the adapter
  • Pressed Stadia+Y on the founder controller (light was blinking orange)
  • In the controller section of the switch, the controller connected right away.

My stadia lives another day!

Just wanted to share

Edit: the only thing not working is gyro as the stadia doesn't have it, so not really a fault of its own, just something you should know.

Stadia controller doesn't on Nintendo Switch when wired with regular USB-C?

I've been scouring the internet for ages and I can't find an answer for this. The controller works fine with PC when connected with a regular usb cable, but doesn't work when wired to Switch. I know for wireless play on Switch you need a Bluetooth adapter, but I don't understand why it shouldn't work wired. My wired Switch controller just broke and I don't want to have to buy a new controller when I have a functional one already.

Assassins creed odyssey not available on Ubisoft account

I’m a bit late to the party, but I had AC Odyssey on Stadia. I just logged into my Ubisoft account for the first time after stadia shutdown, but I don’t see my game there. Was there something I needed to do to transfer it? I can see that my Stadia account is linked to my Ubisoft account. How about save files? I want to play AC odyssey on my steam deck.

iPad and Amazon Luna!

Sorry if this is old news, I tried searching - I tried this exact same setup about a year ago and gave up cuz the Bluetooth on the iPad was super flaky. On a whim I decided to try again today and here I am playing AC Odyssey on Luna with no issues on my old 6th gen iPad. It's nice to have a little travel setup again like back in the day with Stadia. I missed this controller!!

Xbox looking at 4K streaming for Game Pass Ultimate

"Microsoft is also working on expanding Xbox Cloud Gaming too, adding things like 4K streaming, higher bitrates, PC game support, and more buy-to-own Xbox cloud games, with semi-regular content drops as it expands its network storage capacity."

Only a couple of years after Stadia, they're nearly caught-up.

Bluetooth not working?

So I got three stadia controllers and I've converted them all to Bluetooth compatibility. I really enjoyed the controllers back when we still had stadia so I figured I'd use them for my Xbox series X and for my switch. I knew about the switch not being compatible right away so I've bought a 8bitDo dongle - didn't work. So I bought the 8BitDo dongle V2 and still ko success. Well I'll be damned. Then I've tried to connect them to my Xbox directly WITH cable but they aren't working. I can however use/find then on my PC and on my phone.

Please, any suggestions because as of right now they seem worthless for our household.

Streaming from PC to TV

I used to be fully on the bandwagon for Stadia. I would never invest in hardware again and streaming games was the future. Now a few years down the road, I own a PS5 and I'm looking to replace my gaming laptop.

But reminiscing to the Stadia days, I'd like to build a setup that can stream to my TV or a handheld device. So the gaming rig can also function as my private game streaming service. Has anyone got a setup like this and/or any recommendations on how to set this up?

From Stadia to Xbox

Like many of you, I loved the experience that Stadia brought, where you could literally buy a game and within 2 seconds be playing it.

The convenience of being able to play from any device, to this day there is nothing quite at the same level.

In my case, I ended up going through the Xbox ecosystem, where I now play mostly on consoles, but also on PCs and I also use the Cloud (on mobile, or to try out a game before installing it). Gamepass is insane value, specially using the Live / Core conversion.

The Play Anywhere feature is somewhat reminiscent of Stadia, as is the Cloud component (much simpler than, for example, GeForce Now where multiple stores are supported).

It's what I find most similar to Stadia. In some aspects, it's MUCH better (running games natively with much higher performance), in others not so much (the totally seamless experience...)

What's your thoughts? Your experiences on other platforms / ecosystems?

Google Stadia pad key mapping distorted only on genshin impact

Hi, I'm here looking for help.

I recently installed Genshin Impact and I recently finished trying all the solutions I know to make the stadia pad work correctly, but without success. The problem in question is the mapping which is almost completely distorted and even if I use the x360 program it cannot solve the problem in addition to the fact that the game takes both pads (giving priority to the main pad and not to the x360 program). I also tried in the device manager to deactivate it but nothing, so if you have any solution in this regard I would be happy

Thanks

8BitDo Adapter 2 and Stadia Controller not working together

So I have a stadia controller. I was recommended to get the gen 2 adapter, so I just got it and plugged it in. Downloaded the Update Software. It is on v1.07. Downloaded the Ultimate Software, plugged the adapter in, and it came up with 4 selections of controller, Stadia Controller was not one. So I tried the Switch Pro selection and the controller went from flashing orange to white but it went right back to the Controller selection and I can't do anything else. If I try to select the Switch Pro controller it asks me to disconnect the one I already have. Am I missing something? I thought it would tell me connected and allow me to change button configs. Someone, somewhere said it had to be changed to Xinput but I wasn't sure how to do that.

Any help? Thanks!
