I'll be there for about a week leading up to Christmas and trying to make note of what goodies I should eat.
Hi there! We LOVE the dill pickle popcorn at Pop Cone in Disneyland. We’ve tried to find a good seasoning mix online and haven’t had luck finding the right one. Trader Joe’s pickle seasoning is close but not acidic enough. Does anyone have a recipe for a dead ringer? Or even better, does anyone know the seasoning vendor DL uses? TIA!
Headed to Orlando in September and have the DDP QS. Looking for the most bang for our bucks! Drop your most expensive QS meals from each park! Bonus for seasonal snack and meal suggestions! Thanks!
Pre-Covid we would often go right when they opened and get a table in the lounge or sit at the bar without a rez.
Do they still allow walk-ins? Do they even have open seating in the lounge around the fire place anymore or is that dining tables now?
Was thinking about doing an afternoon/evening Disney visit for the first time in a few years and was hoping to revisit the Napa Rose for drinks and maybe a cheese plate!
Any recent visit reconnaissance would be appreciated!
Vegano Sandwich - Rosemary Focaccia stuffed with grilled eggplant, zucchini, olivada, tomatoes, and arugula
Thank you in advance - going to Disney World (first time!) in a few months, and we got the QS Dining Plan. I'm having a hard time understanding the logistics of it, though!
How do you inform them about your plan? How can we keep track of meals that we have left? How do we know what's considered part of the quick service meals? And is it something that my kids (15 and 12) could access on their own Magic Bands, or do we have to have a parent order everything and scan somehow?
I see the list of restaurants on the app/website, but I'd love a clearer walkthrough of how it actually works when we're walking around the parks/splitting up.
Again, thank you!!
Does anyone know the gluten free bun they use for the burger at hungry bear? I was shocked how much I enjoyed the bun. 🍔
Hi all,
Does anyone know what spices etc Satuli uses and how they cook for their rice and beans? I loved their tofu bowl and really want to recreate it, but regular rice and bean recipes on the web don’t give me the same result. It maybe something super simple I’m missing, but rice and beans isn’t really a staple here in northern europe, so might just be something simple…
Going for my mom's birthday and wanted to surprise see her at one of those two bars. I am fully willing to pay for it. I was hoping they had something special or off menu for birthdays.
Strawberry Delight, Cookie – $6
Crafted with strawberry dough created with a house-made strawberry puree and mixed with dark chocolates. This cookie is sprinkled with strawberry infused sugar.
The Eternal Flame, Cookie – $6
A velvety five flavor chocolate cookie, adorned with house-made ancho, cayenne, and cinnamon spice mix, combined with cherry and topped with chocolate covered cherries.
Fire & Ice Coffee – $6
Be warned, spicy. This coffee is a mocha nitro cold brew, with a touch of heat. The spicy-meter was described as medium by Gideon’s employees. But, they do recommend the Strawberry Delight cookie to help cool off the tongue in-between sips (upselling with dessert, smart).
Strawberry Cream Cake – $9
Three layers of soft strawberry cake, strawberry buttercream, and chocolate ganache create this extra large cake slice. Made with natural ingredients, this cake can be bought every Sunday and Thursday – by the slice only.
Hi all,
I am going to Disney World in Florida in a few weeks. I haven't been since I was a little girl, so there's a lot I don't know!
One thing I'm really interested in is eating cute food, especially character-themed food. For example, I'm interested in food similar to what they serve at the Toadstool cafe in Universal Studios Nintendo World. Would love to hear any recommendations you may have! Also interested in recommendations for themed sit-down restaurants.
Thank you!
Hi my family and I are vegetarians and I am planing to go next year for 10 days. I know about the 2 meal daily plan but I am hesitant because I do not know if there are enough vegetarian options in the restaurants.
Does it worth to spend that money in restaurants if we are vegetarians?
Was cooking an egg for dinner and this was a surprise.
My daughter's been dealing with Covid since Friday so made her favorite foods to cheer her up. Recipes below

Hi y'all! Can anybody please tell me if the MK cheeseburger spring rolls have anything ELSE besides meat and cheese inside? Thank you!
After a very long hunt, I was able to find the bourbon they use for the maple old-fashioned at California Grill. I talk to the bartender and he mentioned some ratio of vanilla, maple syrup, but I’m not sure where to start. Has anybody had any luck doing this?
Went to this year's Wine and Food festival and had the turkey poutine. It was incredibly delicious and have been trying to find a recreation recipe for it, but haven't found anything. Hoping to find some help here.
I cannot find this anywhere online. I’ve only ever found the green apple at one specific Joffrey’s in DAK. It’s like it doesn’t exist
On our upcoming trip we have a 10:15 breakfast reservation for Tusker House and just want to make sure that they will still have breakfast food available by the time we get seated and have a chance to get food.
Looking for restaurant rankings for Disney resort in CA both dine in and quick service. Thanks all!
My husband and I would like to chose at least one signature dining service during our stay at Disneyland, what would you say is the best choice, if price is not a concern?
Title says it all, where in Walt Disney World would you find the best Bloody Mary?
