Whatâs the word these days yall? Everyone keeps mentioning Mears Connect or Sunshine Flyer; which are both definitely options but I was wondering what consensus on more private transportation options. There so many companies out there and everytime I find a potential option I find a subreddit filled with horror stories âMy driver never showed upâ âI wa left strandedâ etc
in febuary for week what order would you do parks
My family will be at WDW in exactly 10 weeks. YAY!!
I want to share fun facts with my family leading up to our trip.
Whatâs your tidbit of knowledge to share?
I am a military widow, and roughly every two years my daughters and I are invited to DW by a charity organization. It is likely that this year will be the last time we will be eligible to go. We've been twice before. I'd hate it if we miss an opportunity to see something cool and never be able to catch it.
What should we prioritize? Typically we go to Epcot and Discovery Kingdom
I have an interview that I really do not want to reschedule. I told the screener I was on PTO next week and thought they scheduled my interview for this Wednesday and I hit accept. Turns out itâs next Wednesday, my boss recommended I not ask them to reschedule. Family is rope dropping Magic Kingdom. Any ideas where I can go that is private or quiet? I was thinking maybe going to contemporary quick for the interview and then heading back. I told them I am on PTO but they have lots of schedule conflicts. TYIA
That is *a lot* of theming thatâs going to exposed to high winds. Fingers crossed it holds up. Would be a shame if it spends the next year in various states of disrepair.
So, my 4 year old really loves the Swirling Alien Saucers ride. He plays with the toys and pretends it is the ride. Before he starts âthe rideâ, he says something that sounds like âLetâs Go Reindeer Weeâ. Iâm 99% sure itâs something that actually happens in the ride - as he is saying a lot of other Alien phrases from it. My wife and I have been trying to figure out what heâs actually saying for days. Any ideas? Weâve been watching YouTube videos of the ride to see if we can catch somethingâŚItâs driving us crazy. Thank you in advance!
Can you suggest any reputable charities which offer disaster relief and aid to WDW cast members? I see a lot of people at WDW right now counting on them being available which also means theyâre unable to storm prep or be available for their own families.
I was in Disney last month when Helene came through. The night before it made landfall, I was surprised to find the skyliner still open (about 50 mph gusts in Orlando at the time). The gondolas were ROCKING. I enjoyed it, others not so much.
Obviously Helene missed Orlando by a much larger distance than Milton will. I know the skyliner will be closed, but do they store all the gondolas at the maintenance station? Seems crazy that in a huge storm they would all just hang there and put that weight on the cable. Just curious if anyone has any insight on this
Really wish I could have snagged one of these wreaths for the normal $80. Seem to be sold out. Theyâre on eBay for $130!
Either way, enjoy my photo!
Hey all,
Apologies for the quick and to the point post...
I'm from Australia and came to WDW back in 2017, ended up staying at the Wilderness Lodge and before arrival we organised to have some shopping done through a delivery service and left with guest services the day of our arrival. (I think Garden Grocer was the businesses name).
And we also took part in a Facebook group that unfortunately no longer exists, that shared strollers from one family to the next for free and saved us coin on stroller rental. We just handed it over to the next family on the list when we left.
My questions are
A. Does WDW still allow pre arrival deliveries of groceries to the resorts on the days you arrive? (our family has dietary & health needs)
B. Is there still any stroller share groups around that do the stroller swaps? If so can someone pop me a link to a pm please?
Thanks!
I was just watching one of the live streamers on YouTube. She was at the Polynesian, somewhere just off the main lobby, I think. There was a red "door." For lack of a better word, it was a projection of a door. Is there something special about this door?
Waiting for hurricane Milton to arrive and just off TSM. Magic or coincidence?
Hey everyone! My wife and I stayed on property for half our stay and stayed off property for the second half. We got a lot of souvenirs and want to do the Disney shipping. We have saved all the receipts over our stay and were wondering what is the best place to go to have Disney ship everything?
Better to have one singular place than all the disparate threads.
We've had this trip planned for several months to drive from Houston to Orlando for a Mon-Fri stay at DW. We would be arriving Monday late morning/early afternoon. We are staying at one of the resorts.
For the folks here that are local and know the area well, how much should we be worried about the flooding, etc., in the area about 4 days following Milton? I know it's hard to know exactly how it will be but just trying to get an estimate on how worried we should be. Not worried about the park being open, per se, but moreso getting in and out of the park.
I appreciate any responses and I hope everyone in the area stays safe!
Love this section of H.S.

Iâm checking the app for wait times out of curiosity since I want to know what to expect when I go in two weeks, and the only characters that show up are the Circus Stars. Are all the other characters not available today, or is the app just glitching?
Just arrived for a conference at Coronado this week that was cancelled while I was on the plane. I changed my return flight to tomorrow and they comped me a ticket to Halloween party tonight to enjoy at least a night of the parks đ
Weâll be arriving at WDW on 10/31 and was wondering if there is anywhere to trick or treat outside of Mickeyâs Not So Scary Halloween event? Do any of the stores at Disney Springs do anything?
Does anybody have a peanut butter and jelly wings recipe they like that is like the wings at Epcotâs Food and Wine Festival?
