i heard you get 1 ADO per month, can you bank them up if you don't use them and then use them in succession? i want to go back home for my birthday and trying to figure out how i could work that out.
Can someone in the program please explain to me what is happys or happy tuesdays? My new friend I met in the program told me I should go but I can’t find any information about it online and she said I need to be apart of a team. It sounds a little sketchy but she says a lot of dcp and icp people go. Has anyone ever gone? Can you explain to me what it is and what happens there and why there’s a $25 cover charge (per my friend, but I think she might be pulling my leg with that one)
I originally was planning on coming on January 13 but there was an opening for January 6th and so I took that. The only difference is, I want to leave in August but the departure date for the 6th is in June. Is it possible for me to get an extension to August later on in my program?
Hi! I got accepted to the DCP but I'm still deciding if I want to go. I have a husband and a toddler, but it would only be me going. My husband is super supportive of me doing this and it's possible to make it work, but I'm obviously going to miss them and we live in Utah. Has anyone done this?? Is it worth it to do the program? My major is interior design, would it help? I mean I'm a huge Disney fan, and would love to be in the parks, but what are the other benefits?
I got in this morning! I was so worried I applied too late or I flubbed it up somehow. I'm literally crying I did it. See you all spring 2025
So I got accepted to the Disney college program in Late September and the last thing I had filled out for the program was the pre-arrival background check stuff. I was wondering if there anything that I still need to do?
Hi friends! I just had a quick question do I’ve seen some peoples apps show all bus schedule times but my app doesn’t just the times of that certain bus is there a way to change this or am I clicking the wrong thing please let me know thank you so much!!
I applied for an extension but my only option was a month after I need to leave for school. If I accept the extension but term one month before I’m supposed to finish, will it give me a bad rep with the company? I already know I can’t apply for another program for 6 months, but will I be less likely to get an internship in the future or something?
If it’s a block out day can I still hope to that park or is that off limits too?
Hey everyone, I just finished my DCP interview and I put Resort Concierge down as my first choice because I believe it’s ultimately the best choice for me, my question was how likely is it I as someone’s first time in the DCP (If I get in) would get this role?
This may be a rather dumb question but on average how long does it take to find out if you got in? I've heard a lot of people say 48 hours. It's been almost 36 and my dashboard still is still saying I'm in consideration (hasn't even updated to say that I interviewed yet).
Hi guys! I think im a little confused on the point system because i have heard a couple different things. Is it after 9 points you get kicked out? That would be only three reprimands but ive heard its four and you are gone. Just confused and trying to figure out how that system works!!!
i’m going to fail a class this semester, and am not doing exceptional in another. this is due to health problems my family member was having the start of this semester, and i was never able to bounce back from it. is there a possibility that my acceptance status can change even after i’ve paid all my fees entirely?
I recently got rejected from College Program, and I’m feeling really devastated. Has anyone else gone through this and found a way to cope or even turn it around? Part of me wants to reach out to ask for a second chance because I was dealing with medical issues during the interview and didn’t feel I could really show my full potential.
I'm torn on what to do—I just know how much I want to be part of this program. Have any of you been in a similar situation? Should I reach out or just accept the outcome? I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you!
Heyyy everyone I had a question. If I’m currently a cp moving to pt/ft and plan on still living at flamingo, will my boyfriend technically be able to move in with me since we don’t follow the no guests rule and I live in a 4x4.
For anyone that’s friends with a character that has a head piece (idk what you guys call it - but the Mickey heads)… do you guys hold it together when you see really special families? I just saw a video of a Mickey being so sweet and gentle to a boy with a terminal illness and I was literally about to start crying in the club. Even characters without a mask how do you guys not want to cry?
Hi, I am starting my first DCP in January and plan to live at Flamingo Crossing Village; I am wondering if HelloFresh is a good option for food to stay on a budget instead of eating out? What are some other alternatives?
Thanks! :—)
Hi! I recently apply for Spring 2026 and got accepted but however had to retract my offer due to medical reasons. I hope to apply for 2026 after I am done with college and graduated. I want to see if anyone is planning on applying to try and make friends early even though it’s a while away and hopefully roommates. (21F, biology major in GA)
I’ve seen a lot of people on here talk about the cost of the program and was wondering what exactly those costs are? To my knowledge you get paid $17 an hour with a guarantee of a minimum of 30 hours. That comes out to about $2000 a month before tax. I understand if you live in their housing there is a rent to be paid for that, but I’m wondering what other costs there are outside of that? I got accepted for the Spring but had to reject the offer due to schooo. I am planning on reapplying for the fall and living separate from the program. My bills monthly for rent, car payment, car insurance, etc comes out to about 1,500. Is it feasible to do the program with these expenses?
I’m applying for a bunch of Disney internships now that I’m graduating this semester. They are all full time hours (40+), but the application does not mention pay. Does that mean many are not paid? I don’t want to be wasting my time if so. The internships I’m applying for are all Orlando based
Would love to hear from some Disney interns
Hello everyone! Does anyone know if Flamingo checks credit score when transferring from CP to Part time/full time? I ruined my credit a few years back and have been able to bring it up to the mere 600, but I don’t think any apartment complexes will accept that. So, if need be, I would stick to Flamingo after my program while I continue improving my score if they lease without checking?
Do guests regularly irritate and upset cm? Currently working retail in uk and thinking of not continuing with the application process because i genuinely come home from shifts so deflated sometimes because of how rude customers are. Will it be as irritating out there ?
Hi everyone, I recently just got a full time position as a lifeguard in the sassagula region! I’m looking to see if anyone knows what the hours will be like! I’ve heard that full time employees get 32 hours a week but I’ve also heard more or less. Does anyone know what kind of hours I might get as a lifeguard in this region?
My program started June 3 and ends January 9th. I would love to transfer to be part time somewhere in the parks or hotels. Just wanna know my chances.
Hi! I work in Orlando but will be going to Disneyland Anaheim soon but had some questions on how to get in as a CM, as im a bit confused since its a bit different and a lot of online information is for regular guests. I understand Disneyland dosent have a apple wallet like Disneyworld but should I see my name and my barcode in "My Tickets and Passes"? I have made my park reservation as well as my friends through chip and dale and I see all of their barcodes but for some reason mine doesn't show up. I have linked my main pass through the Disneyland app too. Do I just walk up and show my email reservation and Blue ID? But that seems a bit weird if I also want to keep using it for lighting lane etc. Thank you!!
Yesterday I was at the park as a guest when I got a call from my mom telling me that my step dad had left at the side of the near Las Vegas after they had an argument. I was angry to this so I called my step dad and we got in an argument where I cussed him out over the phone. I immediately felt embarrassed to have cussed at the park as a guest, and now I’m terrified that I’m going to get termed for this. From what I could tell nobody was paying attention but I’m terrified that somebody secretly reported me. Could I get termed?
Hey everyone! So I am I a bit of a predicament. I really want to do the DCP (I already paid my initial fees) but I am in pretty bad debt and I want to make sure I am still able to afford these bills while being able to enjoy the parks.
Bills/debt: $125 a month dental ($1975 total) $804- credit card $50 a month medical (700 total) $280 a month car bill (which I’m not even bringing down to Florida)
Is it at all possible To be able to manage this while purchasing groceries and affording rent while enjoying the program?
posting this sooo early but does anyone know when they’re starting candlelight auditions for 2025? ik it’s usually around july right? if my program ends in august but i want to stay on pt/ft or extend, would they still let me audition even if i haven’t been granted the extension yet? i missed the deadline my last program bc i arrived a month after and really want to do it
How much do yall think I should save for the program I only got a couple months to save just want to hear yall thoughts
Quick question regarding F&B. I know that the chances of doing F&B during the CP are fairly high and was curious if anyone had experience doing it. Any pros or cons? I’m hoping that I get placed somewhere else however I would like to be prepared if I do get placed there. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks y’all!
