Pin Trading Basics A trade should take this basic format:
RULES
Selling
a. User must have at least 10 pin trade flair points to post for sale threads.
b. All sale threads must be clearly marked with the flair type [SALE].
c. Prices must be clearly posted (no make your best offer posts) and should be in the title. If you have multiple pins, write “Prices vary”, but the body (or pictures of the pins) MUST contain the actual sale price.
d. PayPal Goods/Services must be used.
Posting (Single Use/Spamming/Self promotion)
a. Posts can't be for a single use (ie close up pics for trades or responding to someone's comment - keep this in the original thread or PMs).
b. Users can't submit multiple posts in a week under the same flair type. Users may only have either 1 Trade, 1 ISO, or 1 Sale post per week. Users should also not post more than twice a day.
c. Users w/ 10 flair may promote their fantasy pin sales provided that sales take place on our sub (no linking to the outside sale); all rules must be followed.
Flair – All posts must be flaired.
Please label each of your submitted posts with the appropriate type of flair!
Real Photos (No PinPics or other stock photos allowed!)
All trade posts must contain photos of the actual pins being traded.
Scrappers
a. If you plan on trading scrappers, they must be clearly labeled as such. Some people may not care if it helps them complete a set or get a HTF (hard to find pin), but they should know they're getting a non-authentic pin.
b. If you are unsure if you have scrappers, reach out to the mods or others on the sub. We can assist you in identifying them!
c. Link with info on how to ID scrappers: https://old.reddit.com/r/DisneyPinSwap/comments/dg9swl/fakescrappercounterfeit_pins_mod_reports/

Below are some links for buying authentic Disney pins. If anyone has a site that they have used that sells affordable AUTHENTIC Disney pins, please message the mods so that we can review and possibly add that source to this list. Also, if anyone has a bad experience with these sellers, please alert the mods.
CollectRandom is a sub favorite. They sell grab bags of Hidden Mickeys and such at very affordable prices (all authentic). Keep in mind that they may not have stock at the moment due to the pandemic.
Pindrella on Facebook also sells authentic pins at affordable prices.
YourWDWStore is less affordable, but still cheaper than eBay! And authentic!
Distradingpins4u is again an affordable way to get some authentic traders! But they also have other individual pins at various prices as well. BEWARE of their lower price individual pins. Most of the pins on their site are authentic, however mods have heard reports that some of the cheaper individual pins could be scrappers sometimes. Packs are ok, higher individual pins are ok - ask for pics of lower priced individuals if possible.
Gopinpro is a trusted seller too. They sell awesome pin books, some licensed pins, and some fantasy pins (as well as other merch).
Kraken Trade also sells some licensed pins and awesome pin books.
Lastly DisneyPinsBlog always has various authentic pins at various prices, as well as the latest pin news!

Hi all! I opened this cute Dumbo pin from this Loungefly set and I was looking to trade for either Dinah or Marie! Thanks!
Are the two may 4th pins that came out today park exclusives?
I never saw them on the Disney store website and now I’m trying to decide if I should pay the current prices on eBay or wait a few days to see if the prices will drop.
please help me find this
I am currently at the WDW park and I’m looking to trade with other people but I hardly find anyone else trading pins. Is there an app that allows people to see each other in the park? I tried magic pin but have had no luck.
If anyone is currently in the park I would love to trade for stitch pins! I am very new and only have a chip robot pin I think it is?
Hey Mods! I would like to be rigorously honest. I came across a small lot of pins from the dumpster. I am a dumpster diver lol. I would like them to go to a good home for a small price. I hate when things go to waste! What are the rules to get them posted on here for any interested buyers. Thank you in advance. Fyi they looks real to me I was able to scam them to eBay but only the professionals on here can discern! This is not my forte. Ty ! UPdate: sent a message to mods for selling of pins to interested party.
I'm almost ready to put my pins on my giant corkboard that I hope will fit on my wall. Idk how to organize them. I mean I have themes but some overlap themes. Do you do by themes or like the same mystery box collections? Like would I do star wars near the coffee cups because one of the pins is both? What about, I have a minnieouse dressed as tink pin. Do I put that in Minnie or Tinkerbell or do I put my Tinkerbell collection next to the Minnie one? It's hard to decide what to do. Ideas please so I can display my pins. I'm just sad that they will never get to be seen outside of my room. I can't wear them to work anymore.
Found these pins on Facebook marketplace, she is giving for $45 for 50 of them. Are these real or fake? I’m new to pin collecting and I want to get some cheap pins first so I can start trading for things I like. Any advice would be great!
Here is all my new genies in one shot!
Let me explain: when I go to the parks, I’ll usually buy one andom pin from any vendor that sells them (usually silver tier, and generally one I don’t even really like all that much) and then trade it as many times in the day as possible. Each time I trade a pin, i’ll snap a picture of it to keep on my phone, then trade it the next time I come across a cast member with pins to trade. Sometimes, I’ll even trade with multiple cast members in the same store or next to each other if they each have their own sets of pins to trade with. I’ve never traded any other guests because I’ve always been too afraid of asking and the cast members always say yes lol. Anyways, over the course of the trip, I’ll have swapped my single pin a dozen or more times, occasionally finding some really cool ones imo. I like to think of it as amassing a virtual pin collection since i’ll always have the photos of the pins to see my journey through each day at a park. Also it’s kinda of a fun budget friendly way to “collect” pins since I’m only really buying one pin per trip usually. But yeah, does anyone else do this?
These are the pins I came up on the maly stuff dug and disgust up for trade others nft
My new obsession are these Shanghai Disney zodiac hidden Mickey pins!!!
