You know the melody that Ariel sings when she is trading her voice to Ursula to become human, what does this tune evoke for you? What do you think made the composer write it this way?
This cover is inspired by the original soundtrack, and has been approved by the Disney Music Group on streaming platforms.
Does anyone know where the Hurt Incantation / Moon Incantation / Reverse Incantation Song / Wither and Decay song from Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure can be purchased?
I don't think it was included on the soundtracks and I'd love a clean version or instrumental version.
I am trying to sing more from my diaphragm and have more range! I’m a soprano but struggle with lower notes. Here’s my cover of frozen! Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
Hi! I was watching the opera Carmen and heard a familiar motif. I was able to find it in Jafar's Hour at 29 seconds in on the soundtrack. Where else is this little musical part? I know it's got to be somewhere else. Thanks!
My family joined my daughter's best friend's family for Halloween activities last night. After trick-or-treating, all of the kids gathered in the living room, dumped out their hauls, and began the barter-and-trade process to maximize favorites and find out what they had.
At one point, the best friend (whose name, apropos of nothing, is Elsa), holds up some trinket from her haul and shouts "I got a thingamabob!"
I, being a dad of two daughters and having seen The Little Mermaid about four brazillian times, said "I've got twenty!"
Elsa's dad, without missing a beat, casually says, "who cares? No big deal."
You don't even need me to tell you what happened next. You're in this sub. You know. Impossibly, we were somehow even in the same key. Our wives, of course, fell off the sofa laughing at us. 🤣
Does anyone know what the name and artist is of the second song at ruffly 10:53 in this YouTube video? Been trying to find it with no luck.

Thanks!
I just had the weirdest experience the other day. I hadn't listened to Tangled OST in a while and thought it fitted a jaunty walk in the park. A couple of songs, I'm happy, then bam! Mother Knows Best (Reprise) followed by I See the Light.
I have listened to this album enough to sing the whole OST beginning to end along with the movie. I know something is up. I updated my music library quite a lot in the recent months, so I'm thinking, Maybe the track listing got jambled up.
I open my MusicBee and there is a track listing, but for some reason all the songs are at the beginning. I look up online and it is the same everywhere – Wikipedia, Spotify, Youtube, Apple Music. (I bought the album on iTunes back in the days, like 2010.)
After searching further, I find a playlist on Youtube with the track listing I'm used to. It seems to follow the order of the movie. Did the track listing change or have I had a weird track listing since the beginning? I have other Disney albums and they generally all follow the movie order.
TD;LR: The track listing of Tangled's album is completely different than the movie's. For some reason, my music player had the movie track listing. Did it change?
Here’s one for the experts! In Trader Sam’s (ETB at least) there’s a mellow, instrumental version of the Hawaiian War Chant. All the Apple Music and Spotify playlists sub the version from the ETR LP.
Has anyone seen this track elsewhere??
The disney songs appear to sound different on apple music. For example the first songs I noticed was off was Les Poisson from The Little Mermaid. I thought it was just hearing things but then I compared it to the movie on disney plus and it is soo different. Also One Jump Ahead, A Whole New World, and A Friend Like me are just not the same and it irks me since i enjoyed listening to ing to these songs.
A Whole New World has a word change that caught me off guard when I first heard it
Original - But when i'm way up here, its crystal clear
Lyric change - But now from way up here, its crystal clear
Has anyone else noticed this?
We all love the big blockbuster hits, but what do you consider the songs that have stood out as Disney music outside of the main studio films?
Like High School Musical is arguably a big hit and I'm sure a lot of people could sing some of those songs. Theme park rides have songs that are popular (It's A Small World, Yo Ho A Pirate's Life)
So yeah what are your favorite nontraditional Disney music?
And on top of that do you consider older Muppets a part of Disney canon? Nightmare Before Christmas has some bangers and most would say that falls under Disney, but it's originally not a Disney film. So should Rainbow Connection be a top tier Disney song now?
Just stumbled upon this, this morning, man the surge of memories last time i seen this movie was in the late 90s. 🥲
This is a little arrangement I wrote for two songs I really love. Why'd I put them together? I don't know! Just seemed right I guess.
