Hello, I’ve never left North America, and planning on going to Disneyland Paris in April, I have a couple of questions.
Thank you
We will be there on 22 - 25 Nov and wand to go on the 2 quietest days - thinking the sun and mon (I know sun is a weekend but Fridays seem busier too and thinking it will be nice to spend some time in the hotel to settle in - staying at the Marriott). Any advice?
Based on crowd calendar, studios looks to be very quiet compared to the main park. Was thinking doing the main park on the Sunday (or friday) and then studios on the Monday. any advice here what would be best for my dates?
Secondly, our flight out leaves Monday night and I see there are 10min trains from Chessy to CDG. Is it best to leave luggage in chessy station itself or within Disney? Any recommendations here appreciated.
Hi all, going to Disney in 2 weeks, 5 of.us are booked into the marvel hotel. When we booked our baby hadn't been born so we left her on the booking as Baby and close birthdate. Would this need to be update this or is it fine.
My sister works for Disney and is able to get us complimentary park tickets for friends and family. We plan on going t the park on either 30th or 31st December. Assuming these will be busy, will we still be able to use the friends and family tickets even if sold out?
You are unable to book these tickets for a specific day, simply turn up and head to guest services. I would just hate to spend over an hour travelling there to be turned away.
Does anyone know which places in Disney Village (or elsewhere!) do a happy hour and what time?
I have seen that the Royal Pub does 17.30h - 19h with some good deals but wondered where else?
Thanks so much
Hi all, we are going in February half term, first time! Well, I went in 2008 when I was 18 with my parents but this is my first time with my own kids aged 10 and 12. What's the good and the bad about going in February? Any tips? Also given that it's so close to Christmas and this was a sort of spur of the moment booking last week, Christmas is gonna be a little tight this year, what stuff can I get 2 boys for Christmas that makes it look as if there's something under the tree but doesn't cost much (not disney tickets as there are aware we are going and now I wish I had left it as a surprise 😂)
Thanks!
I noticed earlier today that they had Paris in their official Instagram line-ups, but they seem to have removed it in a later update, and Disneyland Paris has removed the likes from the post as well, so will she still be wearing her new outfit appear Disneyland Paris on the 24th?
Hey, So I set up a direct debit for a gold pass (in person because of disability reduction) using my Revolut account. The payment was meant to come out on the 8th November, but nothing has been taken yet. I contacted dlp a couple days ago but they are yet to respond. Has anyone experienced this? I don’t want to lose my card for late payment! Thanks ☺️
Hello, I have booked express luggage and will pick up my tickets from the Disney express counter at the parks entrance when I drop my luggage off.
Do you know if I can also pick up the priority card from the same place whilst picking up my tickets.
I’m going to DLP mid December for the Christmas season and was surprised by how much construction / renovations they have going on the the main castle park during this time. (Same in Disney village with them closing Sports Bar etc). Wouldn’t it make more sense to hold off for a couple of months to Jan/Feb when it is much quieter and avoid having so many unsightly walls up during the festive period when it’s really busy and expensive for park goers? Also how long does it seem to be taking them to build the new pavilion outside Casey’s Corner? I hate to be a downer but DLP seem to take ages on things that the US parks get done in a fraction of the time.
Hi all I am visiting Disneyland Paris with my boyfriend in Jan and I want to look cute and wear dresses.are there any restrictions on dress or types I am aware to obviously be decent enough as it's public space with kids.
What are people wearing ?
Thanks
Any one has the idea how crowded is tomorrow? I’m here visiting and is my last day, I have two kids and it’s hard to be entertained in a cultural trip, thinking in going tomorrow to DLP, but trying to avoid is it could be to crowded.
Thanks
Does anyone know where Minnie is meeting in Disneyland Paris?
I'm going in a few weeks and will be arriving with the tgv from the airport. I'll have a medium/large suitcase.
Does anyone know how to arrive at the hotel? Is it through the normal disney village security check? Can they handle bigger suitcases? Will it be really crowded at 8am? Is there another entrance that would be smoother? I'm hoping to make it into for early magic.
Thanks for the help :)
Hi all,
Planning a first trip to DLP and super excited. Unfortunately, I have major arachnophobia. Are there spiders on phantom manor? Haunted mansion doesn't have any (webs are fine).
Also, any warnings for other rides that do? I can think of any that might besides maybe if Indiana Jones has jungle theming in the queue? The one at WDW that jumps up and down in the box while you're in line for Jungle Cruise is a no-go for me.
I'm thinking I can likely tolerate Spider-Man (doing the other park as well) as the robots don't really look like spiders but would appreciate if anyone has insight into whether that one gave them heebie-jeebies.
Thanks!
I heard it’s starting November 28th. If this is true then that’s really lousy. Should be starting when Christmas starts :( really wanted to do that meet.
And if they do then does anyone know what time? I’ll be there next Monday and can’t wait and really want to experience it!
So I’m visiting Disneyland for one day next week and I will be 15 weeks pregnant. I intend on getting the easy access wristband for expectant mothers to be able to fast pass the queues but I was wondering if anyone has been whilst 15 weeks pregnant (I’ve not got a bump yet at all) and what rides they could go on. I know there is a section on the dlp app that tells you but was surprised to see it didn’t even include the tea cups and from what I’ve read online it’s often advised against riding certain rides because of the lap bar restraints but with no bump would this be an issue?
Im in the planning phase for a trip to DLP and thinking of splurging on a signature suite in Disneyland Hotel (have to decide wether I should go for castle club room or signature suite), but why can't I find "any" photos of the suites on the booking webpage? It seems they want it to be so exclusive that it is almost mythical.
They do have different themes, but how to choose without the possibility of browsing photos?
I have found some relative official videos on YouTube, where we typically can see 30-60 seconds preview of the rooms. For example, pictures/videos of the Frozen junior suite it almost none-existent. I have found ONE photo.(they have some videos of the large one-off Frozen suite but that's just unrealistic.
Where can I find more information and photos regarding the different themes of the suites.
(I know I have to call them to actually book the suite, but I don't think they will send more pictures of the types of suites if I would call them now)
I’m just a little confused on how it works? I never hear anyone talk about it either 😅
I'm a DLP regular... I've been 17 times, hand have stayed in all of the Disney hotels multiple times... The one thing I have never done (and thought I would never do!) is stay in the Disneyland hotel! (I've always been of a mind that I don't spend much time in the room so why double the price of the trip for the sake of sleeping somewhere different).
My next trip is in March of next year and I've decided to treat myself (nothing crazy like a suite... But still very excited!) and want to know if there's anything I should know? I'm expecting the same as the rest but a bit fancier (which is fine by me!), but want to be sure if there are any amenities or services that I'm entitled to by staying there that I don't miss out!
Thanks so much!
Edit: should have mentioned - I'm in a "Superior" room (which I believe is their nice way of saying standard lol!)
Has anyone walked to/from the parks if they’re staying at Dream castle? I’m thinking about possibly doing it when we go in 10 days if the shuttles are really bad in the evening. I’ve done WDW multiple times so I’m fully aware of how high my step count will be, but sometimes I’d rather avoid the chaos if I can walk 😅 we’ll have a 1 & 3 year old with us in a double pram so we’ll just want to get back asap. Im wanting to know more if the walk is okay, and is the area safe in the dark at night?
After two trips (totalling 8 days) this year I am now debating on getting the gold pass, I’m already planning on a 2 day trip for December (unsure whether I’ll be going solo). The issue is I have a 3 year old son who I’d like to bring with me on most trips, and I don’t know how to work it with him being able to come.
I like staying on site as it’s easier with the little one, but obviously the hotel cost alone doesn’t really add for any savings. Is there discounted guest passes for annual pass holders? Or would it be worth getting him a silver pass so when we go with another adult they can book for an onsite hotel?
Another thing, how does hopping on a hotel booking for onsite work with a non AP holder? Do they have to call up to book & add myself on?
I don’t want to jump into buying a pass, but so far this year I would have broken even had I committed to a pass initially but didn’t expect we’d become a Disney family quite this quickly haha.
Thank you Disney friends 💛
Do you know why buzz lightyears lazerblast is not in Toystory playland ? It doesn't make any sense to me. I have been to walt disney world and there was no such a thing that an attraction wasn't in its own themed area. I am a bit confused
Hi all, going in September next year and staying 3 nights at Disney Hotel, which restaurants are the must do’s?
Hi, wanted to book dated tickets for Disneyland Paris for today. On the Website the calander says its not available.
Does anyone know if i can book undated tickets and use them for the Same day?
Or any possibility to buy Tickets for today localy in Paris?
Kind Regards
Hello everyone! I'm looking for something quite special. I remember that when I was little and we went to Disney hotels with my family, there was a channel on TV only in the disney’s hotels .This channel consisted of presenting all the attractions one by one with a blonde presenter . if anyone knows what I’m talking about , It was present from around 2000 to around 2015 . If anyone has any lost media from this channel or images that would be great. Thanks!
Does anyone know if characters meet during extra magic hours? Mostly looking for Pooh in Town Square!
Also, now that it is the holiday season, does Mickey and Minnie met anywhere in their holiday attire?
I’m sting at one of DL Hotels and I plan to use the extra hour tomorrow. What it is worth doing during that? I’m with my daughter so our plan is to meet the most princesses we can, plus Gaston (although they said Gaston was only during the Halloween season). Also maybe Peter pan characters.
Hi there! I always see a lot of questions about this so thought I'd share my experiences.
I requested the card a month out online and on the day we arrived picked up it at the hotel check-in. It was very straight forward to collect and the staff specifically said to me that you never need to disclose your disability to anyone and that it will always be honoured.
When arriving at the parks there's a separate disability entrance you can use and on rides there's sometimes two options: option one is to use the "premier access" line, I found this line to be pretty short most times but in some instances (such as tower of terror and phantom manor) the queues run inside in pretty dark and cramped spaces.
Option 2 is the "disability access line" which is more reserved for people with mobility issues and looked to be pretty long on most rides we looked at. However, if you have cognitive disabilities I think this is a good option, as previously mentioned some queues are dark and cramped.
There's a disability area set aside for fireworks and for parades. The area for parades is not the largest and there's only a couple benches in the area, so take this into account if you struggle to stand for long periods of time. It's the same area for fireworks but much larger, however I'd still arrive early! And also, if you can stand for long periods please give up your seats for those who can't. A poor lady had to sit on the floor for fireworks as a family had taken over the benches despite not needing the whole row - she was visibly struggling and I felt so awful for her!
More importantly, if you are entitled to this pass and have the relevant supporting documents then please take advantage of this wonderful service! I would never have been able to go to disneyland without this!
