Scheduled to be there in February and it sounds like American Idol will be going on. Anyone been there during this and know what to expect?
Hello!
My family is going to be at the resort in a few weeks, but we didn’t rent a car. Is there anything within reasonable walking distance that’s worth checking out?
I feel like we’ll be missing out by visiting Hawaii but being confined to the resort.
We do have two small children (3y and 9 months) so maybe walking anywhere will be difficult anyway, but I figured it didn’t hurt to see what the community had to say!
Thanks!

I'll be there in a few weeks and am planning on bringing a few refillable mugs we have purchased from there the past few years. What colors are available this year so we don't have to buy more?
Will be at Aulani in a few weeks for my wife's birthday. Would love to order a cake from a local bakery. I realize Costco is close by, but that's not much different than getting one here at home - wanted to try for something a little more special.
Has anyone done this? Recommendations welcome!

My family is going to Hawaii this summer and plan on spending a couple days at Aulani!
Please share with me your perfect spa day! I want to book a session with all the best!
My family and I are going to Hawaii in August. We booked 3 nights at Aulani using DVC points and had planned on staying in Waikiki for 4 additional nights at the Embassy Suites Waikiki but after speaking with a coworker I wanted to get other opinions.
My coworker loved Aulani. She spent 6 nights there last August. However her uber driver in Hawaii told her that the worst places in Hawaii start with a “w”.
I didn’t book anything in Waikiki yet and wanted to ask if anyone has stayed there and enjoyed it. Or not? What did you like? Not like?
Where else did you stay on Oahu?
Thank you

Thank you all for any advice. Also should I download the disney app?
Listen. If you’re investing this much money or points a night and the most basic thing like towels runs out outside and inside. But then concierge tells you to kick rocks cause you didn’t have your room key and the only thing your wife wanted to do was swim before dinner because you got here so late from traveling and that couldn’t happen? It feels like such an operational failure and all you get is a “Sorry” is so annoying beyond belief. That’s my rant. This would never have happened at the four seasons.

Are there mini fridges in the regular rooms?

Hey everyone! Trying to get a sense from folks if Alauni is a good option for two adults. I love Disney but that is not the driving factor here - it seems like Aulani has great pricing and great location during the time we are looking to go. Has anyone gone as just a couple with no kids? We are looking to book our trip soon and trying to make a final decision on what resort we are going to stay at!

We’ve gotten the exclusive Christmas ornaments every year for the past eight years, but unfortunately moved from Hawaii a few months ago and didn’t pick one up before we left. Does anyone know what they look like this year and whether Kalepa’s store carries them (or if they’ve even been released yet)? I’m talking about the ears ornaments with the year printed on them.
Thanks!
Hello! I am looking to book Aulani for five nights in June for our 20th anniversary. I have seen in years past sale rates that included June for 25% off for five nights, but right now there are only winter offers available. Does anyone have any idea as to when special offers for June typically become available?
Is the lazy river at Aulani too dangerous or not pleasant for a 17 month old? Like is there a chance that he would accidentally slip away from my arms? Or get a ton of water splashed in his face?
Is one night and two days too short of a stay to enjoy all the major events? Any recommendations to pack in as much as possible? I don’t think we can do the Lua’u in the evening due to the time difference and our toddler’s bed time so we are already limited. Considering an extra night but we have 3 nights in Waikiki after Aulani.

Looking at the make overs for my 7 year old. It looks like you need to select the package and outfit at time of booking. Does anyone know if you can change these when you get there? I don’t know what princess or package we are really going to want once we get there and see the dresses.

I'm here right now. They definitely have some neat items . I'm probably just getting a souvenir to commemorate my trip but I'm wondering if there's anything in particular that might have value to collectors out there.
