I recently discovered the instrumental in Toyota is based off Buckethead's Wandering and I was wondering if someone out there knew the origin for the Japanese man in both Toyota and Waiting For You. There's a strong possibility the man is from a commercial hence the name, but the woman got me stumped.

I looked up the lyrics with no good results. Any help

This is the third part of my series cataloguing the samples used by popular Barber Beats artists. This week, I’m covering modest by default’s Permaculture (组织胜过时间). This is one of the most well-known albums in the genre, with over 1.4 million views on YouTube. The album currently sits at the #1 spot of Rate Your Music’s top Barber Beats albums of all time. Despite this album’s popularity, several of the samples used for the album have not previously been identified anywhere online.

Unlike Monodrone and Oblique Occasions, MBD does provide a pastebin link on the album’s Bandcamp page that lists the artists sampled on each track. While this certainly helps to narrow down the search, anyone looking for a specific sample used on the album might have to go through an artist’s full discography to find the track they’re looking for. The Kid Modus sample used for track 5 had me going through every song on the artist’s SoundCloud, only to find the original track sitting at a total of 8 plays. Here are all of the samples used on the album collected in one place:
