Figured this might be a good place to share. It’s my new series on YT where I play Retowave-style (and real retro) games and pair them with Synthwave tracks I think best match . Hope you all enjoy!

Short but good imo
Hey all, I have recently started my first synthwave project and this is my first single, Arecibo: https://open.spotify.com/intl-it/track/74Izr4ER1zHKv0jdqjfCmj?si=de597adb716e4c79
the track is the one with the most synthwave mood of my three singles and anticipates my first album coming in a couple months.
Any feedback on the track will be very appreciated!
I'm not much of a nomenclature/taxonomy person, and my process is trying to make music without deviating too far from a genre. I'm not exactly sure what my genre is? I listen to lots of artists without trying to specifically incorporate their style elements. If they come in subconsciously, that's ok for me. So, asking again, what sort of a genre blend/overlap do I fall under?
