Snap On 1/2in drive ratchet that belonged to my grandpa. Tool truck guy put a new ratchet unit in it for me. It gets alot of use still.
1940s Snap on box filled with old snapon, craftsman, SK and others. Its a mess right now its been to cold to go out there
Bought this last year, old faded but functionality is good. Not as fancy as modern tool boxes but deceptively solid. I would like to put a nicer hinge on the top cover/shelf and try rejuivate the paint, but other than that does that job.
Picked this up about a year ago for almost nothing. Probably the most useful tool I’ve ever owned.
Just starting out with small engines and antique restorations while being a stay at home dad. I’m 40 and thought this crowd would be a better environment to learn rather than do the social media thing.
Also have a Wera bit check just couldn’t fit it.
I lost these sometime ago 5 to 6 months ago working in the garden zip tying up tomato plants. I figured I lost them. Turns out they were just in my silverware drawer behind the silverware rack. My wife loves to find new homes for things sometimes lol. And I was too upset and cheap to replace them and it paid off lol.
Has anyone else picked one of these up yet? I've got to use mine and I'm liking it!I'm sire it won't be the end all be all to torque wrenches but it is very handy and works great! Very accurate too! I couldn't pass this deal up as I got it for 300$ with a battery and charger when the bare tool sells for 699$. It also only had 11 torque cycles when i got it all of which were under 70ft lbs!
This is the bag I take into every job for service plumbing. Got everything I need and I’ve tweaked it to my likings over the years. Couldn’t fit all the tools in the photo , I also have a Wera bit check in the front pocket.
Recently found my way to the tools subreddits and now I have a burning desire to grow my tool collection. I was previously picking up whatever cheap tool I needed at the time of a project so I have a mixture of anything from old Craftsman, Husky, Pittsburg, etc… Now I’m spending all my time looking at reviews, and comments in the search of wanting to turn my garage into a respectable workshop. This is what I’ve purchased since Reddit gave be a boner for tools.
