Hi, I managed to snag a few Nuka Cola glass bottles when they were in stock and wanted to display them, not just by themselves but perhaps on a light source so they glow. though with how valuable they are, I didn't want to do anything permanent like filling it with epoxy, so I was wondering if anyone knows of a good way to get a faux liquid that can glow when either normal LED or UV light is used underneath it. I'm hoping to get a nice blue glow for my Nuka Cola Quantum bottles, a white one for my Quartz, and maybe an orange for Victory.
I had the idea to use a mix of glycerin with tonic water, that way it would appear clear and catch the light (maybe even dye it other colours for the other bottles) but i've not done such a thing before so I'd like some ideas. :)
I’m working on a paint project with one of those cheap unfinished wooden boxes from Michael’s, and I painted over it with acrylic paint. What would you recommend to seal it? I’m going to be using it as a stash box and am trying to find a way to get rid of the stickiness of the acrylic without ruining my design. Thank you in advance!
I am making a music box for my mother for Christmas, but need help for how to decorate the inside. It plays Hedwig’s theme from Harry Potter and I plan to cover the mechanism with some scrap wood. I figured I would put a quote on the inside of the lid. I don’t want the bottom to be an empty box, but I don’t know what to make and put inside of it. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!

I'm planning on making tea cup candles for some holiday gifts! I'm going to look for said tea cups at thrift stores but I don't want it to get too hot & break. How can I tell if they can withstand the heat of a burning candle?
I have a collage style frame with 6 slots, I believe they are for 5x7s. I have a bunch of 4x6s that I would like to put in there but I don't want it to look bad. How can I make it look intentional to have the smaller photos in there? The only idea I have so far is using white cardstock behind them almost as a border around the photos, almost like a mat? Any other creative ideas are welcome as long as they mean I don't need to reprint all the photos in 5x7s lol
I need something that is:
2)that I can cut easily
is white (or paintable)
and can be 14 feet long with no seams
Marine vinyl fits the bill, but maybe there is something cheaper and easier to work with (i think i'd need to buy a very wide piece at a fabric store?). Anyone have a suggestion?
Hi all, I’m not sure if I’m just in a bit of a manic episode or just adrenaline but I’ve been creating non stop and have all this supply but am running out of profit…. I have been super lax on posting my stuff for sale… it’s just such a hassle and I already have a 9-5 admin job so doing the administrative tasks for my side hustle is so blahhhhhhhh
Any tips on how to motivate me to photograph all my jewelery and mod podge creations and also post them on marketplace or eBay etc. ? I also need to set up my Etsy store but have been procrastinating that as well. Please help me find the energy to “just do the thing”
