Account age of 6 months to comment.

That would keep the worst of the shills and bots at bay. We can revoke the rule once the elections are done.

I am new to being a server and want advise on if I should start out at Red Robin or Texas Roadhouse as a server? I feel like I could make more money at Texas Roadhouse but am nervous about the volume of people. I know Red Robin will be a good beginning place but wanted everyone's thoughts pls.

A lady friend and I are driving thru. We like to see beautiful sights and monuments! Just typical travel things. Like in Denver there was Estes Park, hot springs, and garden of the Gods. Also a fun nightlife. We are taking a drive from CO, to KS, MO, TN, NC, SC, GA then home to FL. Just wondering what you would recommend roadtrippers visit in your beautiful state.

We are lucky enough that we are not tied to any one area because both my husband and I work remote. We have 3 boys, all elementary aged. We currently live in nj but we are hoping to relocate to an area that better suits us.

Here’s what we are hoping to find:

1. warm climate
2. Highly ranked public schools but open to private if reasonable
3. safe area, that is walkable and bike friendly 4) a family oriented community preferably with a quaint downtown area
4. a laid back lifestyle, we aren’t big on the hustle and bustle.
5. a single family home, 4 beds (would love a pool) at around 800k

We’ve researched a lot of areas but haven’t found what we are looking for. We explored the st Augustine area but weren’t in love. Aside from historic downtown, which is not an ideal location for a family, everything seemed very spread out. Too much new construction, it felt artificial, like the Truman Show to us. We’ve also considered mt pleasant but the housing market is particularly outrageous.

My favorite camping location is closed Summer 2024 for construction, so does anyone know of any cool/unique secluded camping spots? Ideally they don't require a long hike, but please share your favorites even if a parking spot is not near. For reference, I love camping somewhere that requires a 2.5 mile kayak trek, but the experience is well worth it.

The most important thing for my group is the ability to make a little noise without bothering neighbors, but we're also looking for some sort of charm to the location, especially if the campsite is a long drive away.

Bonus points for proximity to Charlotte, NC.

Okay so I'm 22 I had my permit for like 3 years and it expired after those three years and i never got my license or got it renewed cause I was too anxious. However, now I have to cause of current problems. I was wondering if I have to get my permit again to get my license.

What are your thoughts on this location? I’ve been doing a bit of my own research but would love to hear from those that have spent some time there as my husband and I are looking to possibly purchase a home around this location.

We’re ok being in the middle of no where as we grew up in a one stop light kind of town where you have to drive 30-45min to get to anywhere significant. We fully expect this to be our getaway location where we can enjoy our time together and work from home without the interruption that comes with being close to friends and family. No kids so the school system is a non issue. I guess I’m just looking to hear if it’s a safe area? Clean or run down? Or really just any useful info you might offer for someone considering purchasing in that area.
