I'm about five hours away and wanting to do a quick trip from November 20-22 or so.
These are my priorities:
Cleanliness of the room (no bedbugs or reused linens on the bed)
Having an indoor water park or at least an indoor lazy river and indoor hot tub.
Not in a super sketchy part of town (Bay View on the Boardwalk looked so nice but turned out to be in a really bad area).
BTW, it doesn't have to be myrtle exactly but somewhere in the general area. An oceanfront room is preferred. Suggestions??
Can anyone recommend where to take a FORD E350 RV for oil changes, tire and general maintenance in the area?
Are there any election watch parties next week?
Hey guys!
My father is looking for a job, and is having a difficult time. He’s almost 60yo and was a cook for the last 10+ years between 3-4 different restaurants. Not anything fancy, it was always a “walk in and ask for a job” sort of deal. He is a vet (20yrs served) and has a degree in Aviation Mgmt. He has a bit more job experience but it’s all over 10 years ago, jobs he only stayed at for 2-3 years.
I don’t know where to start with this one. He’s most likely not going to thrive in any front facing customer service job. However, he is on time, attentive and disciplined in terms of getting his job done right and on the first try. I’ve been helping him out since we’re coming up on a month with no bites interview wise and wanted to see if anyone on here knew of any jobs he could apply for. I’d love for him to have a job that’s semi stable and “normal” in terms of working hours, but I know that’s not realistic because of the area.
He is able to lift heavier things + is tall, he has always been in good shape but he is aging. He’s been looking into some back of house stocking jobs and already applied to most, but there has to be something else he can look into as well.
I’m his only relative so I’m helping as much as I can but my reach only extends so far.
TIA.
And i
Hello, I'm a paralyzed disabled veteran looking for a caregiver. Hopefully, a 24-hour live-in caregiver.
Visiting a friend in 3 days that lives in Ocean Isle, wanting to explore ofc as she hasn’t done much since moving there. Google is great but wanted to come on here and ask about any holes in the wall or some awesome local places. Shops, bars, eatery all welcomed we will be down for about 10 days! TIA!
Do you like it? Is it a good atmosphere? Any tips for an interview?
We have visited many many times and we have found a few neighborhoods we are interested in. We absolutely love the area and have done all of the school district and daycare research we need. I see the Saint James schools have a pretty good population size so we know they’ll be at least a good chance for our kids to have friends and maybe us with other parents. But, one thing we have a question about is if it’d be a good place with our younger family ? I know the area is heavily retirees or natives but we are totally okay with that. We are even headed back down this weekend to look at a specific neighborhood.
We actually currently live in (and are from) SC so we are fully familiar with the state. I’d love any help/feedback!
Need a good tailor to trim up some shorts. Tried the guy dieting, the OG downtown. Great job, just slow to
I'm driving over from Columbia to stay for the night I have to do something for work there in the morning. Is there a place I can Uber from my hotel to go have a drink oceanfront this evening or go watch NFL when I get there? I'll be staying near Crown Reef. Thanks!
Visiting in December and am curious if everything is still open and what the crowds are like? We have never been to the beach in the winter. Looking forward to a fun shopping and eating weekend. Thanks.
Seriously, Kenneth! What are you celebrating?!?!
Hey all, I’m moving to Myrtle beach, I’ll be there on the first of November. Just tryna see the best places to meet new people? I don’t know any body in sc
Are there any hand wash detailed car washes in the area.
Are any stores having sales on Halloween candy?
Lived here for few months now , still haven’t found a good restaurant that serves Fresh fish / Oysters . Any suggestions ?
Staying at the Marriott on Costa Verde, looking for something chill to grab food and some drinks for dinner tonight.
Staying right near Calabash so preferably that area and North Myrtle. Definitely hitting up pilot house- but haven’t been down in 4 years.
Oh and a good Carolina bbq spot
Moving to MB in a few weeks (socastee). I’d like a bank that I can open a checking, business checking and another checking for my college-aged daughter and be able to use an app to transfer between accounts. Any suggestions? I’ve seen a few mentioned but nobody talks about their tech. Sometimes CU aren’t as advanced as larger banks. I would have direct deposit and need to move things between accounts.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
