My friend’s church (out of state) has free Zumba classes two evenings a week. Is there anything like that here on Eastside of Greenville ? Doesn’t have to be a church.

This is a long shot, but I’m new to the area, and I need to volunteer at and interview folks at a non-profit organization. This is for a college research project. I’ve reached out to two places, Senior Action and the Greenville Humane Society, but neither have gotten back quite yet. Does anyone have suggestions, or does anyone work/volunteer at a non-profit around here? I’m actively messaging more places too! Thanks :)

about 20 years ago at 689 w duncan rd saw a shadow ghost running across the road going east into the woods while me and my brother drove south on the road (so the ghost was running to our left). We both saw it and asked my brother if he saw it he said yes as he tapped his brakes when we saw the figure. There wasn't a person anywhere on the road just a weird 3D shadow of a man as it wasn't thin and was about 6 feet tall running across the street almost as if it wasn't trying to get hit by a car. Not sure if someone died on that road a long time ago because internet wasn't what it is today. I live in California today but just thought I might share one instance of some weird shit I seen in Greenville.

Hey everyone! I'm sure this is a national issue as well, but I wanted to ask if anyone has any idea behind the wild gas prices. I have seen prices as distant as 65¢ from each other, and even a 30¢ difference at the same station from 1 day to another

As the crazy title says. In that storm last night, a huge branch broke off and dropped right through the ceiling of the adjoining unit (ground floor duplex)

The tree it came from is about 150ft high and leans at a fucking full on 45 degree angle over this property.

I am TERRIFIED that entire thing is going to collapse during the winds and litterlly flatten our apartment. Or the saturated ground from all the rain will cause it to collapse.

Its on an adjoining neghbors land and they are useless to talk to.

What the hell are we supposed to do?!?!

Anyone else nervous for the storm? I’m trying to bring in as much stuff from outside as we can but I’m nervous for projectiles with how high the winds are projected to get.
