I’m looking to buy a 2TB SSD for my PS5 and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations that are very good quality for a decent price. I was also want it to have a heat sink to help with the cooling.
I seen this one and not sure if anyone has any better recommendations.

Thanks
I have an issue. My account is secured by two step authentication. I no longer have the sim card that it wants to send the verification too but have the email, password etc.
What are my options?
I've been thinking about calling uk support as they helped me before when I was hacked years ago. I have a new ps5 coming on Wednesday so want to try and sort this out.
The account has 100s of games on aswell as all my trophies, including some very tricky plats. To lose it would suck. Any help is greatly appreciated.
So I had my VR when I bought my PS4 a few years ago, now that I have the PS5 I tried to connect VR to it but the camera port is not there. I read online that Sony is producing a converter but can’t find where to get it, any suggestions or guidance on how to get this sorted ?
I'm looking at getting some gadget insurance paid monthly for my new PS5 and controllers. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations and if stick drift on the dual sense controllers is covered as this seems to be the most commonly occurring issue
I can only go 32" due to my limited space in my bedroom (I currently have a 27" monitor and it's not as good as it could be, I can't see writing well from my bed, doesn't have hdr and more). My current monitor is asus.
Im interested in probably going for Ig as that's what I'm used to. The family tv at home is a dumb Ultra HD Ig and the one at my dad's is a much better 72" one with all the bells and whistles for content and his Xbox series x.
Edit: I tried checking monitors too (I like ASUS so was checking them and also LG) and wasn't finding many of the good features I wanted without getting in the £1000 mark
I'm just wondering what people who've bought a Playstation Portal think of it. I wouldn't mind getting one, but I'm not sure whether it'll be worth the investment.
I have seen a lot of people on here and other sites saying that they have returned noisy PS5 pros and was wondering how as everywhere I’ve looked seem to only accept unopened consoles?
I got my Pro on Tuesday through very online btw
Thanks
EDIT: Seen the law regarding the 14 day cooling off period for online purchases. I’m assuming this counts for consoles too?
One of the worst games I've ever played on Playstation is The Quiet Man because it's a horrid broken mess. However, the biggest challenge is thinking of something positive to say about it. I think the best thing I can say about The Quiet Man is that it helps me to appreciate good games much more.
I have lots of messages to people that are offensive and I just want to forget about the things I said and I want to move on from my past of being toxic/hateful. I have been suspended once and I don't want it to happen again since my dad sometimes still plays.
I have PlayStation plus, but as you can see there is a little locked symbol next to the psplus symbol. Not got a clue why, someone please help ?
Now I've just been told I am being refunded. Shame Sony couldn't make some extra ones for people who had their items stolen by someone in the delivery company. The outer packaging of the PS Portal 30th edition which I also ordered and received was very poor, so I can see why my controller went missing, the tape was hanging off and the box was very poor quality.
Why they don't have any extra ones to send me I just don't know.. Now I will never get to own this special controller.
Haven't paid attention to the PlayStation in this console cycle, but currently on Amazon for £333 with the Amazon resale deal. From what I can tell on Google, it's a decently good deal (?)
They're classed as like new, and every time I've ordered like new condition, they've always been exactly the same as brand new.
26 currently in stock, in case it's of benefit to any early birds.

Hi all when finding out the ps5 pro won't come with a disc drive when it was released I bought a disc drive in advance but stupidly returned as I didn't know wether it would fit or not and didn't want to be outside the returns policy for returning etc. because of this I was without a disc drive since the pro got delivered from when I pre ordered it directly from playstation direct. I had set it up and played for a bit but realised I do need a drive desperately but non were in stock. So the only place I could get it from was very who were selling it as a bundle with a ps5 pro. So I've now received that and have it set up with the pro from very but need to return the original pro I had from ps direct. Whats the return experience with playstation direct like? obviously I haven't damaged anything etc and have tried to package it up like It came originally. Thanks in advance
Hi people.
So I have finally bought my first ps5. It’s a disc version model group slim. Now was looking for a decent TV/Monitor. My budget is a bit tight at the moment. Was aiming for something below £400 actually. This one caught my eye in currys.
Think its a good deal to go for? Or any other suggestion?

Snagged a drive. Also got notifications from HotStock about House of Fraser and Game but cannot confirm
Edit: Sold Out, Sorry Guys
Keep your eyes peeled. Get Hotstock App and enable Notifications. I was pretty slow putting my details in but managed to get a Drive as long as I reacted to the notification straight away.
I’m very excited about thi
Hey all, first time posting here so be gentle.
Over the years I've had lots of iterations of PlayStations from the OG to PS4 and even a PSP. I haven't had one for a few years and my son is now 8 and wants one.
The scenery of buying a PlayStation has changed and now I'm a dinosaur with limited knowledge.
I was originally going to get a standard PS5 disc console and look to get used games as I'm not expecting to play enough to justify the monthly PS+ or paying full whack for downloads.
What are people's thoughts on this?
Sort of games I'm looking to get for the boy are:
Sort of games for me:
Not going to be all these in 1 go, but what's best option?
Digital and PS+? Original Disc and used games? Originally Disc and PS+ and used games?
I'm too torn to make a decision!!
I bought the PSVR2 bundle and PS5 Pro during the Black Friday deal. The bundled game, Horizon, blew my mind. I felt like I was 'inside' the game. In the first few minutes, sitting on a boat in a jungle river felt so real. I've never experienced anything like it in my life before.
My recent orders from Game Retail have been frustrating and I need a bit of advice.
This all started when I preordered Alan Wake 2 and Silent Hill 2 in June this year and used PayPal to do this (pay in 3 if it matters).
The order remained as a pending transaction on my PayPal which I expected as I thought they might charge me closer to the games release. However I then get an email on 5 September to say my order had been cancelled but I looked this up and found out this was most likely a system error and my order would still be fulfilled. This was stated on their website, not directly in correspondence to me. The order cancellation email also only related to my preorder for Alan Wake 2 which was odd. At this point I was really worried it was all cancelled so I then made a separate order of Silent Hill 2 only on 4 October from Game as I really wanted the steel book in particular for my Silent Hill collection.
I then contacted them directly to enquire whether this order from June was still valid or not since I had not been charged. They then replied to say my June order was “cancelled because the system was not able to authorise the money from the account”. This must be false and an error with their system transition as my bank account is never without funds and I have made probably hundreds of transactions through PayPal without issue.
I now have a physical copy of SH2 with no steel book and they have told me I will not be receiving one because they were limited and out of stock. This is just upsetting for me because I made my initial order very early months ago and I should be entitled to what I purchased. I know it’s just a silly steel book but it looks great and people are selling this without the game on eBay for £60 to £100+ in some cases which is ridiculous.
They have offered me a £5 voucher as a goodwill gesture to use with them but I don’t think I’ll never purchase anything from them in future because of this unless absolutely necessary. Is there anything more I can do here? :(
