Will it start on 17 november like last year or later? My ps+ extra just expired so i want to know if the offer of 30% off on black friday still applies to expired subcription or its only available to new users who never had ps+? Thanks.
when i go to my library and see all the games i own, i cant differentiate between the ones that i got from the game catalog ( PS extra tier ) and the ones that i got from the PS Plus monthly free games. The Yellow PS Plus symbol on the corner of the game box art doesn’t appear to all the games.
So im confused, is there a way i can know which is which for sure? Thanks in advance.
Anyone knows what to do when this happens? I can play all my games and the store works right on the app, it's only not working when I try on console. Nothing is loading. Please help 😪😪
Every month on the PS+ Essentials reveal post, we see, without fail, dozens of comments along the lines of "UGH" "awful!" "how dare they hike the price for this" and of course the "guys i just let my sub expire for the first time since the dawn of man, no regrets."
I'm not trying to necessarily poke fun but those comments make it sound like the #1 reason those users even have PS+ is for the allure of having some free games that justify the purchase.
I have PS+ because I enjoy playing multiplayer games in a group, be it AAA titles I personally buy or seeing what random titles PS+ comes out with and gives us. The free games ("free") are simply a bonus to a necessary service (online play).
well, when i bought ps5 i got ps plus extra for 3 months, it expired yesterday, i mean, it didn't, now it shows I have it for 3 more months, but my card declined when it tried to renew subscription, should I consider myself lucky ?
As title says, are there another good games on PSPlus similar to Cult of the Lamb, Moonlighter or Dave the Diver?
Those games where there’s a dungeon runs but also some element of management outside such as the cult/sushi restaurant.
Cheers.
For a kids game, it's pretty OK. I got all the GS for it on Xbox. It's got an alright story for a kids game, and some exploration. Fuck. It even branches the story, admittedly not that much. The story does branch though.
Is this the same sort of thin Xbox GP fans used to do 'every game added should cater to me'.
GP started to add more kids games to the mix (and there is a lot of them now) because it drove subscriptions.
I mean, come on. Why shit on a game? It's not for you. It's not a bad game. Real people made that, and you're just making it out to be a joke cos you can't understand that the world doesn't caters to you.
Hey everyone! Sorry for the late post, dealing with a lot these last couple of weeks. Some personal issues. Things are getting better though and I did, wow. Very good in the last post which is actually a bad thing because that meant that a lot of really nice games are leaving the service.
Thankfully, December isn't that crowded. But of course we still have some good titles that might leave. Let's start now, I am already late!
Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2, Mega Man 11(Added 12 Months Ago)
Okay, we have another series of releases here. One year ago, in December 2023, we had all 3 titles launch on the Game Catalog. Collections got added to Premium, 11 got added to Extra. The publisher is Capcom. They do take their games away. They took away DMC, Resident Evil 7 and just now they will take away Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen on their first year anniversary on the platform. So, Mega Man. It might be the franchise we are losing this month.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin(Added 12 Months Ago)
Now, this is an interesting one. Square pulls away games. But Koei Tecmo has a great relationship with PS Plus. I personally don't think this is leaving for now. I would be much more cautious about the 2 year anniversary but if you got nothing to play, you might want to check this one out sooner rather than later.
Monster Hunter Rise(Added 6 Months Ago)
Similar to FF Origin, I don't think this is leaving. Capcom likes 12 month deals, not 6 month deals. So, it's much more likely for Rise to stay on the service. But it's the biggest game that got added 6 months ago, if one of them will leave it's going to be this one. If you are looking for something to play, check this out!
Judgment(Added 24 Months Ago)
Uh oh, here is a big one. Very likely to leave too. Judgment is currently the only RGG game on PS Plus. Even it's sequel Lost Judgment left the service but not this one. It's time might have come. And it's a great game. So you should check it out. Both the PS4 and the upgraded PS5 version is available on PS Plus. It's also very newcomer friendly. It's the classic Yakuza combat mixed with detective stuff. It's a great game, you should probably check this out.
Shadowrun Returns, Dragonfall, Hong Kong(Added 12 Months Ago)
Another series, less known IP. Shadowrun games are tactical turn based RPG's set in a cyberpunk world. All 3 of these titles will get to their 1 year anniversary, so they might leave. I don't know much about this series but if you do, leave a comment! Would you recommend them? Who would you recommend them to? What type of players? Let us know.
Mortal Shell(Added 24 Months Ago)
This is an indie soulslike, that had quite the adventure on PS Plus. It was a monthly game back in December 2021, so you might have this permanently on your account. When it got added, Plus subscribers couldn't get the PS5 version. Monthly offering was only for PS4. Then back in December 2022 they added the PS5 version to Extra. And with that you could play that. But they still didn't give you the upgrade. Your PS4 monthly game is yours but PS5 upgraded version isn't.
If this game leaves the service and I think it might. 2 year deals are a thing. We are familiar with them by now. What can happen is that you won't be able to enjoy the PS5 version but if you got it back as a monthly game, you can still play the PS4 version. Basically, think about whether you claimed this one back when it was a monthly game. If not, this might be your last chance to play it. If yes, this might be your last chance to play the PS5 version. I know, PS Plus stuff. It's complicated.
Some Indie Suggestions
That's pretty much it for big titles. Mega Man, big alarm bells. FF Origin and MH Rise, unlikely but you should keep an eye out. That's pretty much it. I will now give you some quick indie game suggestions. Games that got added 1 year ago and 2 year ago will be mentioned.
Metal: Hellsinger got added 12 months ago, it can leave. It's very similar to BPM. If you don't know that game, Metal: Hellsinger is like Doom but you are following the rhythm of the music. We still have some time to get The Dark Ages so this might surprise you. Not very long as well. Main story 5 hours, completionists 8 hours.
Tinykin also got added 12 months ago, and it's for those of you who wanted Pikmin on PlayStation. Very charming game, perfect palatte cleanser between Silent Hill 2, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Black Ops 6, whatever you are playing. Also short game. 6 hours for story, 10 hours for completionists.
Finally, The Pedestrian is a game got added 24 months ago. It's a very unique puzzle game. Just 4 hours long for all type of playstyles. Very likely for this one to leave, I'm not sure if anyone wants to do a 3 year deal with a subscription service. Seems too long. So you might want to take a look.
3 great indie titles from 3 different genres. I hope you check one of these out, we are living in a time where most AAA games tries to steal our time or money. To be honest, both in most cases. So these are more unique projects created with passion that also respects your time. Indies are becoming the beating heart of the industry and I hope you are giving them a chance.
Final Thoughts
This month seems to be calm, especially if you are not interested in Mega Man. And Judgment. Though, you should probably be interested in Judgment. Or that series in general. They are awesome. Anyway, maybe focus on completing the huge lineup of October releases. Or maybe you want to check one of the games I mentioned. FF Origin, MH Rise or maybe one of the Indies. Leave your suggestions as well, I will leave the full list of still available games right now. Ubisoft games are not leaving. I am also not adding the classics on PS Plus Premium because none of them left. Have fun, see you next month!

Intense games
Does anybody know any good jntense games on ps plus they can recommend? I'm looking for something intense to play. Shooter or non-shooter.
Hey guys!
Been searching for games on PS Plus that are more “chill” / less attention demanding just to unwind a bit after work, while listening to music or a podcast even.
I’ve been playing God of War and Dragon Ball Sparking Zero or Uncharted on the weekends, which are more “involving” games. But they’re not really what I’m looking for after work days. Some days I just can’t get involved into long stories as well.
I’ve browsed this sub and tried a few stuff like Slay the Spire, Moving Out, Overcooked, Powerwash Simulator - which I didn’t really enjoy much, to be fair
Steep was cool: I enjoyed looking at the graphics while chilling, but still learning a bit. EA FC was nice as well!
Any recommendations on these?
So I'm traveling rn, over-country I visited a friend and sing into my profile on his ps5, for some weird reason it says that to play online I must buy ps plus but I do have it, any suggestions ?
Yo everybody, I was wondering if anyone could suggest some nice and relaxing games on PS+ that are great for when you just want to chill and block out other stuff going on in life. Recently I've been playing a lot of pretty intense games and I was just looking for something that's a bit more laid back and doesn't require much effort. Maybe something with a decent amount of replayability would be nice.
Thanks to anyone who gives me some recommendations.
what are the best open world games on ps plus extra. I've played ghost of tsushima and rdr2 and looking for games similar that I'd enjoy
My girlfriend and me trying to get her uncle more into gaming. We just played the dark pictures games, which we really like. The problem is it has to be a online game, preferably coop and if it's possible for three players but two of them playing at the same console. Naturally the selection is not that big. Even a game for two players would be good so my gf and me can rotate playing with her uncle and the other person can watch. We already plan to play it takes two and a way out.
I know it is a challenge but I can not find anything in the premium library.
Maybe you can help us.
Hey! I recently renewed my PS+ subscription and claimed the valorant benefits. However, i don’t own a ps5, but instead play on pc. is it possible to get the benefits on there? if not, will my purchase of the valorant benefits expire if i don’t claim them on a console?
Absolutely loved Pentiment, so so good and kinda just want a game to unwind to with a good story
Edit: to add games I've played Witcher 3 Skyrim BG3 All Dark Souls/ Elden ring/ Bloodborne/AC6 Disco Elysium GoW 2018/ Ragnarok Jedi FO/ Survivor Kingdom Come Deliverance (favorite) Rogue Trader Red Dead 3 Lords of the Fallen 2.0 Hell Blade Tales of Iron
Games I've tried but couldn't get into Outland Horizon zero dawn Monster Hunter FF7 besides the first as a kid Assassin's Creed a few of them Dead Space No Man's Sky Death Standing Outer Wilds Bannerlord
I recently bought a 1 month deluxe ps plus package by accident, and I want to refund it. I went to the Sony website and I talked to a support bot that tells me to contact a support agent, and it says none are available right now, does anyone know how to contact directly to the support team, if so replying would be appreciated and helpful.
