40M AEST. I got a PS4 only four years ago, and since I automatically had a seven year backlog right off the bat, I figured I would start with games from the beginning of the generation and work my way through all the games I wanted to play in order of release date. The pros with this approach are that games are super cheap, most bugs have been ironed out, and there’s a ton of reliable reviews and forum posts for picking what games to play (or avoid). I’m only up to 2017, so still seven years behind the majority of the PS4 community (which is the main con), but I’ve played a ton of games in the last four years. Since older games are so cheap, I’ve tried all sorts of games I wouldn’t normally go for, and while plenty were a no go, some have surprised me. Anyone out there doing something similar?
